The Note 5 is an awesome device. It is much slimmer than previous models and even though it no longer includes a removable battery or expansion SD slot, it offers other features to compensate. The pen/stylus works well and the OS is on par with other Android UI's. The gold color is perfecto and really shines. Would buy this phone again (and again, and again).

I have no regrets about leaving IPhone. This phone is truly a personal assistant, it has pretty good voice recognition. Only scary thing is that if you do the finger print accessibility you run the risk of it not being read correctly and you only have so many attempts, which could potentially erase your phone. This issue happened to someone that had the 6 edge, and as of today it almost happened to my Note 5. Thankfully, there are several back ups especially if your forgot your back up password lol.
The phone loses battery quickly, but compensates by charging quickly when wall charger is used.
Security is easy and great.
Screen easy to clean with soft cloth.
Color is beautiful
Sound quality is great.
Camera is AMAZING!!!! like blows new apple cameras out the water, did a holiday comparison with cousins. I won.
Voice recognition is pretty amazing too.
Overall: Battery on phone is not great, but compensated for, Camera is excellent, Security is great. Its all worth it.

This is an incredible device. After having two iPhones I decided to jump ship and give Samsung GALAXY a try and I'm glad I did.
With amazing cameras, a wealth of storage, a beautiful screen with rich colors and great dimensions, and useful functions like S Pen and Air Command, it is the perfect phone for me. It is also classy looking, ditching the faux leather plastic case of the past phone and using glass and aluminum construction.
Some gripes I have? Because of that new construction I cannot access the battery to switch it, and it does not last as long as I would like. I do a full charge daily. It comes with a fast charger though. That can be good or bad depending on your opinion. My concern is after routinely fast charging my battery will depreciate even faster but I'm not an expert so I could be wrong. A point to mention is that there are numerous power saving modes, unlike Apple which has one.
Also, no expandable storage has been a point of contention to those loyal to the base, though I'm used to not having that luxury.
All in all its an awesome phone that boasts more features than any Apple mobile device. Just watch your battery.

After pouring over the reviews on this device, I was highly anticipating this phone and boy does it deliver. Best Buy had a free wireless charger and $200 trade in offer that sealed the deal. Great phone with excellent battery life and camera. The s-pen and size was perfect for all kind of media and game playing. Kudos Samsung!

At first I was reluctant to buy because of no SD card slot or removable battery however, the new battery technology seems to work well as I am able to go the entire day using less than half of the battery. The screen is amazing with very vibrant colors. The processor is very fast and I am overall very pleased with the Note5

Galaxy note 5 is one of the best phone (at least 2015). Stylus works very well, and it is very useful. Note 5 shows a good performance, nice display quality. Quick charging and wireless charging are also useful. Camera is the best of the best ever(I didn't see galaxy s7's one yet). Overall note 5 is pretty good.

Long time iPhone user. Wanted more from my phone and this delivered. Great performance, lite for how large it is, screen is amazing, camera is fantastic, and the wireless charging is a very useful feature that I did not fully appreciate until I had a phone capable of using the wireless quick charge.

This phone is super fast with a beautiful display. LOVE the s pen stylus and use it every single day, even fun just to doodle! Perfect size phone, bigger display than iphone 6 plus, but smaller overall footprint. Curved back makes it very comfortable in your hand. Kind of slippery without a case.

This Samsung Note 5 android is my most favorite android phone I've owned thus far! The screen is slightly larger when held horizontally than my last phone the Note 3 and the resolution is awesome! Has a built in stylus, nice feature! Takes good pics as well! Oh, and great for phone calls too!!!

I wasn't in the market for a new phone when I visited my local Best Buy store, but I am very pleased with my unexpected purchase. The screen quality is great and the phone has a lot of useful features, like the stylus built in that you can take notes on the screen immediately upon accessing the stylus without even turning on the phone. This is really great when you need that "pen and paper" quickly! Fast response time.

So I decided to upgrade from a Galaxy Note 2 to the Note 5, and I'm overall pretty pleased with the change. The android updates are good. The camera on this device is crazy good.
My only complaint, if you can still call it a complaint is the battery. My Note 2 with no effort would last 2 days between charges, even 2 and a half years later. I'm not a heavy data user and mostly just use my phone to check email and Facebook. This Note 5 can last that long as well, and I did actually get it to last 3 days on a charge once, but I can only do it if I'm constantly aware of what I'm doing and limiting myself. This isn't really a complaint because I know most people are happy as long as it makes it through the day, which I believe it will for most people.
Overall great phone, it's a very pretty device, I hated to put a case on it.

An upgrade from old phone. Larger screen and a superb clarity /brightness when it comes to the quality of the screen. When it comes to ease of use , have nothing but praises. Nice phone to have and have no regrets except for maybe the price. Recommended if you can afford.

I used to have an iPhone 5 and switched to the Samsung note 5 after my iphone started getting sluggish. So far I love the phone. Love that I can use the stylus as a pen. Love the bigger size and the picture quality (16 MP) is better than I've ever seen for a phone camera.

I've had many phones over the years, at the moment I'd say it's better than most. I like the S-pen but I'd like to be able to change the colors on the screen. Battery life not the best, but efficient. Hard to find a good case for any phone these days so that's up to discretion. Screen size great, pics are good on camera but when you zoom it gets a bit grainy.

I upgraded to the Note 5 from a Galaxy S4. I am completely happy with my purchase and I love the phone. The larger screen is perfect, the included stylus is great and the speed of the phone is amazing. Only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that there is no slot for a micro SD card. If it wasn't for that this phone would be perfect.

This phone is awesome. It has almost everything you can ask for when it comes to a phone. The only drawback I found so far is no external memory, and no removable battery. Other than that it's awesome. The camera, the screen, and how snappy and fast it is.

I switched from an iPhone6 to the Galaxy Note 5 and absolutely love my Note 5. I like everything about it. Wasn't sure if I would use the S-pen but now I can't live without it. It is very convenient to write quick notes. Had no problem getting used to Android and love the fact I can customize my phone more than I could with IOS. My wife and daughter also switched and we all love our Note 5.

I think all flagship phones are great and Im not a fanboy of any particular brand. Apple, LG, HTC, etc are all great phone makers, but for the way I use my phone and some of its unique features this phone has been great for me.
This has been my primary phone for the past 2 years. The camera does great in low light and even better in daylight. The design is slim and just the right weight to be heavy enough to handle and light enough to not be a bother. The display for movies and streaming is great. I've stopped using a tablet because the screen is plenty big. The phone has good RAM that runs apps smoothly. The built in features for layout modification are great and easy to navigate. My personal favorite features are pairing it with the Gear VR headset and having and amazing Virtual Reality experience, as well as using Samsung pay. Samsung pay is great because it works everywhere Apple Pay and Android Pay works at, plus even on older swipe based terminals where the aforementioned pay apps don't work. It won't work everywhere but using Samsung pay earns you points that can be redeemed for gift cards, Rewards cards or even some Samsung products which is pretty good incentive for me to use mobile payment.
The only 2 cons I can really complain about is the absence of expandable memory and not having a removable battery. 32GB is plenty of memory for me, and I have a flash drive for when I get a little full from pictures but I don't always carry it around so that can be a hassle sometimes. The removable battery has only become an issue now because my phone won't hold a charge as long as it used to, but that's true of most batteries after 2 years of constant use, and I am a pretty heavy phone user who watches plenty of movies and actively plays games in my downtime. Even with that con though, the fast-charging for the most part makes up for it. Now I have to recharge in the late afternoon to comfortably use it in the evening, whereas when the phone was new the charge would last all day and most of the morning of the next day.
Overall still a 5 star phone in my opinion.

We have three of these for key people in our business. Camera and ability to write notes is a great feature for us. I use the stylus for notes all the time. The screen has great clarity and size is nearly perfect. Love the whole thing.
