Note 9 is just the right size, not too big, not too small, just the right thickness. Better battery life than its predecessors, many useful functions starting with Bixby. Nice camera, great pics, vivid display that's easy on the eyes. Weight of the phone is perfect, heavy enough to feel solid but light enough to not wear your hands down from long periods of use. Note 9 is also a better value now than the Note 10 as the Note 10 advancements, which are few, do not justify the higher price. A big plus for the Note 9 is an SD slot for expandable storage. This is no longer a available on the Note 10.

I love my phone! It is a great size! It is fast! It's new enough that the updates make this equal to the newer phones. I've had mine for about a year and my husband has had his about 8 months. Neither of us could ask for anything more! I am glad that we got the 512gb version! It means that between the phone and a large SD card, we can have a whole terabyte of memory! These phones are going to last us quite a while! We originally had Note 2's, then upgraded to Note 4's that we kept for about 5 years. The Notes are awesome phones and we will probably stick with them as long as they make them!

After owning the Galaxy S7 for brief time and the battery debacle that came along with it,, I was kinda in a way forced to purchase a different phone but now I had the opportunity to purchase the Note 9 and I'm glad I did,, the Note 9 is much faster then ever before,, this phone is featured packed with the S pen and a beautiful AMOLED screen that only Samsung can pull off,, battery gets me by the entire day and the camera is better then ever before,, you heard and seen the reviews, I highly recommend the Note 9,, it really is CPU in your pocket,, glad all the kinks are fixed and happy with my purchase,, it can only get better from here

Upgraded from S6. I was worried about the S9 Note being too large but the latest design in making it narrower but taller is great. I use the pen all the time; if you picture yourself using it, get it. It's fast, display is great & camera is good as well. Disabled & uninstalled what bloatware I could. I don't use & am not keen on Bixby or dedicated Bixby button that is in a terrible spot on the phone (next to volume buttons). Oh, also S9 has a headphone jack. Overall, super happy I purchased the S9.

I owned a Galaxy 7 prior to buying this phone. I really did not like it and was thinking about going back to an iPhone, but my wife had the Note 5 and just loves it. So I bought the Note 9. Best decision I made. My old phone never made it through the day on one charge. This phone will go 2 days on one charge. I like the larger curved screen. The stylist is great to use. I'm still learning about the phone, but so far I am not disappointed. Trying to talk my wife into buying one also.

I bought this phone on special getting $300 off the retail price. I was a bit hesitant at first because I'm coming from an iPhone. However, I do not regret it! The screen is beautiful and the build quality is great! I love the S pen! Camera is great! Very higher quality pics and videos. The most important thing is that it is very easy to use. If you're coming from Apple will take you a few days to get use to. I personally think is a great buy and much cheaper than an Iphone.

I've had many phones in the past due to working at a wireless company. And trust me I've used them all from old Motorola bar and flip phones to the latest iPhone X series phone. The Samsung Note 9 is on a different playing field than any other phone on the market. The power that's in the device and also the battery life is incredible. The massive curved display is a feature Samsung has put in the flagship phones for a few years and with the Note it makes it a nice feel. The stylist this time around does so much more from taking photos to screen shotting to of course writing. The stylist is so precise that you wont realize you are writing on a phone instead of a notepad. Having the headphone Jack is vital but of course is what the newer one will get rid of unfortunately. It is at the tip top of pricing which can be of some concern but honestly what you get out of it the Value of the device is all there!!! All in all this device is a must have for ones that want to get it done in the cyber world we live in.

I love everything about this phone. The multitudes of cameras and how well it takes pictures regardless of light source. The all day battery is real as I have yet to kill this phone. I play games a lot and stream all day at work and never have to plug it in. Screen size is perfect and the GUI is nice and smooth and eady to follow and use. If you are looking for the best phone on the market then buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 9

From iPhone to android I am excited. It has a bigger screen than my iPhone 6 plus. I'm a little bit confused, but it's okay it's a user friendly phone. Using its pen makes it easier to navigate. Nice camera it has a crisp bright color. Great sound but I still prefer my old phone. The only thing that's hard for me is I don't know how to transfer my messages from my old phone. But still I recommend this phone to a friend.

This phone has a bigger battery which lasts longer without a charge.
The pictures are all clear, the camera is fantastic. You can even film a few seconds in slow motion. the sound is clear and the screen on any page is sharp. It is very responsive and my data was effortlessly transferred. I love the note features and you can use the stylus as a remote. This is the best phone ever and I am very happy I purchased it.

Great battery life. Fast response to multiple apps opened. I love - I love the pen. Great for group photos without having to use the timer. Incredible photos. Fast gaming response for Fortnight. The best part with the Dex module a great computer on the spot. Now Bixby vision is great. I love how it translates other languages on signs and any printed material. I was a bit skeptical about the size of Note 9 before I purchased it but it has so many great features to list you can't even remember why you stopped yourself from getting one. Superb battery life, external storage, S pen features, great camera, fast text and email, clear phone conversations etc. Furthermore, it was on sale. I am so satisfied with my Note 9! Highly recommended!!

So, pros: multi-tasking is smooth, camera and screen and sound are great & very customizable. S-pen convenient & can be fun, if you need that. Battery life is good, too, more so on standby. Finally a smart wifi, most of the time, knowing when to use data vs. poor wifi connection w/o manually cutting off & on. Optimization features & safety/security features are great! Setup process easy & somewhat detailed (compared to all the features you discover, but only if you go looking).
Neutral: not enough info on how dual camera actual works on this phone, had to figure it out. You have limited control of second camera, which is fine, once you figure it out.
Cons: color schemes/personalization/custom settings across all apps is basically non-existent. Everything is bright, bland & white with preset colors Samsung chose. No dark mode in 99% of apps. They only way around this is to download a full theme created by someone else & deal with the features you don't like. Can't make your own. Also, do not disturb only allows one schedule. So if you need automatic dnd at a different time on one day from the others, too bad. Doesn't allow for work schedule or other activity. Seems narrow-minded focus was bed time. To get anything close to the way you want it, you have to download something. No double tap just to wake up screen. Have to use home button, but it wants to sign you in instead of just letting you see lock screen. Double tap to sleep screen is found by accident on home screen, but is nowhere in settings. Holding something down on screen to edit is a pain, both with touch sensitivity on and off. No customizable setting on that, either. Many settings exist but are hard to find & even when searched for with exact terms, they may not come up. Other settings don't come up at all. There are NO smart settings at all. So if you cut off wifi, when you get home, it stays off. Maps doesn't auto open when connected to car, etc. ... Narrow screen makes typing more inaccurate in all forms. Bixby is full version but doesn't do anything Google or Cortana don't, & does much less. If using Microsoft Launcher, there is no way to access Bixby Home page other than asking her to show you. Some phone settings change or don't save at random. Bluetooth connection is not easy or consistent. Have to use Galaxy apps and Play store. Galaxy apps lie about updates in the Check for updates area, so you have to wait until prompted to update an app, unless you find each one and update individually. The phone kinda lied, too. I had to 'manually' get security updates b/c it was saying it was up to date, though it was still on July. Samsung support is severely inadequate. The limited grasp of English is the biggest but not only problem. ... No automatic battery saver. Manual only.... Samsung wants all your beeswax to allow you to use certain features or apps.
That's all for now. Trying to let it grow on me.
