Great phone at a great price

I picked the s10e over the s10 and s10+ mostly because it has the flat screen and the fingerprint reader is not on the glass. I wanted to be able to put a glass protector on my phone and they don't sell any for the s10 or s10+. Coming from an Iphone XR this thing is amazing. I don't have the annoying RAM issues I had with the Iphone because this phone has twice the ram. The OS feels very smooth and with a few tweaks you can make it feel very close to IOS. The camera is awesome and focus feature is super cool. I have the latest version of Android (10) as well so that is nice. The Prism Blue looks amazing. This phone feels very light too compared to an Iphone. I think the size of the phone is perfect, not too big and not too small. (Average sized hands). Youtube videos look very nice on this screen as well. Overall I think this is a great phone that has flagships specs with a mid-range price point. If you can get this phone on sale its definitely a great choice!

Top Notch All Around Performer

I updated recently due to slowness and battery issues with my old HTC. I wanted something that would perform in all aspects for a mixture of business/person/general use. I am delighted by this phone. It was super easy transferring everything over, with just a couple of apps not wanting to go. Most of my settings and all my files transferred without a hitch. As far as performance goes, I think this phone is super fast at everything I ask of it. Asking for directions to a store launches and provides directions almost immediately. All apps run quickly and smoothly. The screen is excellent, clear and sharp and the battery life is excellent. I can go almost all day with frequent use and not have to charge. The size is perfect for me and has a bigger screen than my last phone without having a bigger overall chassis. I looked into switching to an iPhone while I had the chance (new SE), but this phone specs out much better in every way, so I'm glad I made this choice for my first Samsung. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate.

Missing Some Features But Still Better Than iPhone

Features that I miss from my previous Samsung phone: built in heart rate and oxygen level monitors, customizability in the messaging app, inability to see full text messages without clicking "view all" on each individual message. This is a huge downfall for me. I have been in an ongoing custody battle and having to screenshot & print messages is a nightmare on this phone. I would gladly give up the extra camera lens to have those features back! Now some good things: the camera IS amazing, it is much faster than any phone I have ever owned, wireless charging is a plus, lots of storage memory, being able to block notifications for certain apps in the phone settings, easy screen capture and pictures with swipe of a hand, thumb print reader location, easy one handed texting feature and other advanced features are a plus! I do like that it still auto-tracks my sleep and physical activity thru pre-loaded Samsung Health app.

Some things I like, some things I don't

The main reason I upgraded from my Samsung Galaxy Alpha was short life of the battery. The things I like about the S10e however are the quickness/responsiveness, the camera is great- I actually now get candid shots because there is no delay, also like the size (it's not too huge like many cell phones), easy to adapt to from previous Samsung.
Things I don't care for - don't like the rounded edge, slippery design (seems designed for dropping!); don't like the fact that there is no reminder (i.e. light, etc) for a received text , I REALLY don't like the fact that when you pull up a phone contact the phone number for the contact is so tiny - about 1/5 the size of the lettering on my previous Samsung!! Must have been designed by an 18 year old!

Nice Phone but not for everyone

So I did the trade-in of my LG G6 for $300 to BB to get the S10e for $400, which was a fantastic deal. I really wanted to like the phone, and I did at first. The build of the phone is very nice; solid, slim, positive feedback when pressing the volume and power buttons. The new Samsung interface, OneUI, is very nice and offers great upgrades from their previous user interface. Obviously having 128gb of storage is great, I'd never have to worry about running out of space, personally. Also the phone ran very smoothly, no glitching, slowing down or stuttering, evidence of the new processor and RAM working great on the phone. I was not concerned by the "hole punch" front camera, it didn't bother me one bit. Overall I was pleased with the phone except for two items:
I could not STAND the "black" color, it is definitely a Blue-Black color, not a true black. If I'm going to have a phone for 2+ years then I want it the right color. Unfortunately the phone was so new they did not have any other colors/options for me until past my 14 day return period.
The second item that eventually forced me to return the phone was the ergonomics of where the power/fingerprint reader button was located. It is too high on the side of the phone. I have fairly large hands and I could not comfortably hold the phone and reach the button with my thumb, very annoying. I kept having to shift my grip, almost drop the phone, and then try multiple times to get the sensor to read my thumb. Again, if I'm going to have the phone for 2+ years I don't want to have to "deal" with issues like that. So even though I got a great deal and most the features of the phone are great I ended up returning it.

Good but not perfect

I've always loved Samsung phones, but that may be beginning to change. I bought this Galaxy S10e outright unlocked on AT&T. Great looks and everything seemed to be working well on the phone. Until.....an annoying glitch that does not let speaker sound regarding notifications, music player, or ringer or alarms to be allowed after using a certain app: the message that displays is "unable to play during call." BUT i'm not on a call! This is VERY frustrating and causes me to either continually use the device care app built into Samsung to stop open apps (which always does NOT work) OR restart the phone which usually always resolves the problem. But who wants to do this every time after they use a highly used app to be annoyed by this? This glitch blocks all sound coming out of the phone! I really wish Samsung would fix this glitch in an update.....please!!!
Otherwise I love the phone: great size, excellent build quality, great processor specs, speedy, great camera (a Samsung hallmark) good speaker (when it works) Great AMOLED screen (another Samsung hallmark) and a nice user interface. The finger print sensor is speedy but leaving it on the back of the phone would have been MUCH more universal in terms of different size hand people being able to access it. It just is awkward reaching that high up to unlock; poor placement of the button. Oh and PLEASE get rid of BIXBY button!! The speaker glitch is what held me back for a 5 star review and is making me think if Samsung has dropped the game a bit? I owned a Galaxy S6 edge for 3 years and that was a better overall phone than this one in terms of non glitch-iness.....it never gave me a problem at all and its screen was of a higher resolution than this S10e. Samsung, I hope you are reading this and can please resolve this sound glitch issue.

This was a replacement for the S5 that I had for five years. It's a tiny bit smaller but much faster and takes wonderful pictures. I don't think I will ever use all the memory but it's good to know it's there.

This is my upgrade from a Galaxy S5. This phone is a lot better than I was expecting. The screen is one of the best I have ever looked at and the camera is great. It did take some time to get all my apps located and placed where I liked them but the functionality of it is great. I have been a Samsung user for a very long time. The price was good due to a hitch on Best Buy's side. 128G is more space than I will ever use. I know I am not using all the potential this phone has, but hey we learn as we go.

I had an outdated Samsung S4 Active phone that was on it's last leg. I did some research and decided to get the S10e and I'm very glad I did. I got it unlocked so I wouldn't be tied to any provider or a contract. The phone took a bit of getting used to but it was very user friendly. I especially like the larger screen area (face is edge to edge) but the phone is not that much larger than my old phone. You can use the finger print reader and or an unlock code. It's easy to transport info from your old phone. It comes with a screen saver already installed on it but you can also get one to replace it with if you want. There are so many features that I like. My suggestion is go to Best Buy and check one out or Google it and read about all of the features.

I had been looking at a replacement for my S7. But wasn't in a rush until it became too slow to run the apps I need for work. This is a very nice upgrade. I love the size, that it comes with a screen protector already on. As a dog walker, I'm holding the leashes in one hand and pull the phone from my pocket with the other to answer clients' messages, so I love that I can do all that with no problem. I've had it a week now and I'm very pleased with the speed. Everything runs smoothly. I was considering an iPhone, but was advised against it since i put my phones through quite a lot all day long. It does everything I need and more that I haven't even explored yet. Music over bluetooth sounds great with Dolby Atmos option on. Very happy with the upgrade.

Recently upgraded from a Samsung S7 Edge. It was good, but the S10e is much better. Faster, better camera, a little smaller and lighter. Just enough features to keep me happy with my decision to update and upgrade.

The phone is great. I went from an S8 to this phone. Honestly I hate curved screens and I was waiting for this model specifically. It took some getting used to as I had to change a few things after I duplicated my s8 to the s10e.
Overall I like the phone. The camera is great front and back. Front camera is full screen and full HD as well. The main reason I went for it was because of the buy one get one free. Plus I got $300 for my s8 on trade in cant beat that. After all the discounts I ended up paying $400 for two s10es. That is not bad at all. Essentially the phone looks like an iPhone and that generally will draw people to it. I believe this phone may have been based on the Galaxy S6 because it pretty much has the same footprint. You will not regret getting this phone, that I promise you.

Great daily driver phone. Flat display, not overly huge, takes good pictures and the front-facing speakers are loud with good quality.
The flagship features that count -- good display, fast, large amount of storage -- are all here. I don't need to pay 250 for features on the 10/10+ that I don't want anyway.

Nice to have a phone that comes with plenty of storage, good battery regulation, and a minimum of crapware. Really enjoying the upgrade and the location-based automatic sign-in feature is one I didn't really know I was missing. Still have plenty more to investigate about the phone, but I feel I will have this phone for quite a few years to come.

I love this phone! It has plenty of memory however you can also add a microsd card. The processor seems to have plenty of speed. I also like that it is capable of WiFi calling when my mobile signal is sketchy. WiFi calling also worked when I was traveling out of the country and I had turned off cellular connectivity. I was able to get my text messages also.
