it's "OK" coming from Galaxy S7 guy. Camera 7, it is enough to see a subject at day and night. 2x, 4x, 6x zoom aren't that big of a deal. It depends if you prefer warm or cool pictures, i usually set my features to a warmer picture settings. Speed 10, activating some developer options helps alot, less animation is quicker. Display 10, I use 120hz FHD+. The difference in 60 to 120 is quite obvious when you are used to seeing 60h. The adjustable brightness of the product is impressive, i don't recommend turning it to max. Size 8, Sadly, phones are getting bigger. And i am so comfortable with my S7 5inches display. Battery 8, For a longer phone, i was expecting longer battery life. Using 120hz will drain the battery of your phone. 12 hours of usage. 4 hours of videcall using BLUETOOTH wireless earphone 4 hours of web browsing 4 hours of youtube [2hrs], samsung music [2hrs] using speakers. NOTE: i use 1/3 brightness, dark mode, wallpaper is black. 0.5x animation scale, reduce animations is turned off.

I couldn't be happier with my new phone! The Samsung Galaxy S20+ has been a joy to use thus far. I bought it from Best Buy because they had the gorgeous exclusive Aura Blue! It's the most beautiful phone I have ever had, and really catches the eye. The 120 Hertz refresh rate is incredible! Such a game changer, and much easier on the eyes. I upgraded from my Lilac Purple Samsung Galaxy S9+, and I haven't regretted it for 1 second (and I loved that phone). You can't go wrong with the Samsung Galaxy S20+, I recommend it 110%!!!

I took some photographs included the natural image and X 300 zoom image. That is an amazing camera function. The recognition of face image for security is great and fast except at low luminary. I think this smart phone is excellent. I appreciate the best buy's good deal.

The S20+ is the "middle" child of the S20 family. Bigger than the standard S20, it is a very large phone, but is smaller than the gargantuan S20 Ultra. Moving up gets you a larger screen from the standard S20 as well as a time of flight sensor added to the camera array, along with a bigger battery. You get the extra size vs the regular S20 but a better pixel density than the larger Ultra. The camera array, which, other than the ToF sensor, is the same as the S20. The 12MP wide angle camera, which I think is the real winner of the three, is common across all three S20 models. The main shooter is a 12MP, with a "zoom" camera which uses a 64MP sensor cropped down to achieve a 3x zoom equivalent. You can also use the 64MP without cropping, which the software will occasionally suggest in certain circumstances. Video options include up to 8K video, but since it's only 24p, it's not terribly useful for anything with a lot of movement. Far better is to drop down to the 4K options with higher frames per second. Also of note, I don't believe the 8K video is an option for recording to the SD card. Samsung touts its "single take" mode, which fires all the cameras to create a series of photos and short videos, but I've hardly used it. Overall, while it lacks the overall eye-popping specs of the Ultra, most professional reviewers have not found a huge gap between the S20/20+ and Ultra, and like I said, what I find the best camera of the 3 (the wide), is common on all of them. And with 128GB of storage standard, and the ability to add more via microSD card, there is ample place to store all of your pics (and apps and music, etc.) The screen is phenomenal, very bright and with tremendous color capability. While you have to cut resolution to go into 120Hz mode and lose some battery life, you'll never go back to 60Hz mode. It's buttery smooth and looks just amazing. While Samsung has touted its cameras this generation, in all honesty the screen is probably the most superlative aspect of the phone. The combination of size, brightness, refresh rate, and color make this the most appealing phone display I have ever used. Battery life, with a 4500mAh battery, is solid. The included rapid charger is indeed very quick. I get a full day of use out of a full charge. Wireless charging, albeit slower, is also supported. The Snapdragon 865 processor, coupled with fast storage and 12GB of RAM, has everything humming along nicely. It's really fast, as a flagship phone should be. I have been pleasantly surprised with the speed of updates. While only the Pixel line approaches Apple's speed and regularity of updates, I have received 3 different updates since late May, and I am pleased to find that I am on the current Android security patch. I hadn't used a Samsung phone in a long time--back to the S3. I'd used LG and Google Pixel in the interim. My return to the Galaxy line has so far been a good one--very pleased with this device across the board.

I upgraded to this S20+ from a dying S7, so needless to say this thing is quite an improvement. I was concerned the 128GB wouldn't be enough but, after all the apps and game installs I've still only used about 40Gb. It takes up to a 1Tb micro-sd which is more than enough for 8k/4k HD video and pictures. Runs fast, without any hesitation, and the camera takes very impressive pictures. Battery life is excellent, lasts all day, and 25w charging will go from dead to 100% in 90 mins. The 6.7" screen seems just right. Can't put this thing down.

I've been a Sumsung user for several years now after avoiding Apple products because the Apple products always seemed to crash after a year or two. I have always enjoyed Samsung products as well as the Android operating system. A few weeks ago, I ventured back into the Apple world and bought the iPhone 11 just to try it out. It's a nice phone but it didn't impress me enough to keep it so I returned it and upgraded to the S20+ from the S7 Edge. Thanks to Best Buy, the S20+ was on sale and the price dropped $500 so I couldn't pass up such a great deal. Simply put, the S20+ is amazing. It's just a gorgeous phone. The screen size, picture quality, performance, battery life, features, you name it, have exceeded my expectations and, in my opinion, are much better than the iPhone 11. This phone will not disappoint! It is a bit pricey so wait for a sale if you can.

the camera is amazing !!! I love the quality of the cameras ! Even the frint facing camera is good . This can shoot 1080p all the way up to 8k video but the screen can output at maximum of 1440p which is 2k resolution. It's fast , has expandable memory, water resistant *have not tried submerging in water yet, and the screen real estate is awesome for movies and games . The speakers on the bottom are loud as well. Only thing is no headphones jack and there is a bug where the camera stops working every once in a while so you have to restart the dang phone. The battery is phenomenal of you put it at lower power consumption. I get it 50 percent half my day and only have to charge in the evening before bed. I would get this one over the standars s20 because more ram , an extra 5g band, and a bit bigger screen .

This phone has an outstanding screen with excellent colors and high definition. It has the latest technology and is easy to use. The battery life is extremely good and it can be wirelessly charged. I have found it to be very easy to read articles on the screen and it has a very fast processor. It is slim and light and handy to carry. The only drawback is that it probably has more capability than I can ever use.

This is a spectacular phone. Fast, feature-rich, vibrant screen. Plenty of storage. Great battery life. Noticeably bigger than my S8...takes a little getting used to. The one-handed mode helps. It helps that Best Buy's price was as low or lower than anywhere else I looked. Highly recommend!

Coming from a Samsung S8+ , this phone is definitely faster and more powerful. However my undiscerning eye can't really tell how much more advanced this phone is. With that said, this phone is definitely future proof for the 2 plus years I plan on using it with the 5g built in, great camera, and updated OS. It feels great in hand (maybe just a tad too big but it is pocket friendly) and is very versatile. On a side note, it works great with the Samsung LED wallet case if that is your thing!

I got this phone a little over a month ago, it is working perfectly. Great camera with high resolution. It is a larger phone than my last (Samsung S7) and I enjoy the larger screen, it keeps me from squinting. Lots of storage and the speaker is quite loud while playing videos and music. The only new thing I dislike about these phones is the headphone port is also the charging port. Luckily the battery life lasts awhile so you don't have to choose between charging your phone or listening with headphones. Also, the charging cable does not have a USB end but that can easily be replaced with one that does. Overall, so far it is a great phone. Hopefully will last me as long as my S7 did.

A Huge Improvement Over Older Galaxy Devices!

I upgraded from my 3-year-old Galaxy S7 back in April, and I'm still in LOVE with the Galaxy S20+ 5G! The Cosmic Gray finish I chose is a glossy finish, which is cool, and at 6.7", the screen is a nice size, yet is still a reasonable size to fit into my pocket. The camera takes awesome pictures (which is one of the main reasons why I considered this phone, because I take pictures for my job, and need a great camera). It even has AI (Artificial Intelligence) built in to make sure you take the best-quality pictures. The battery lasts most of the day even when connected to Wi-Fi. I haven't had a chance to try out the included AKG earbuds yet, but I'm sure they sound great, and I was impressed by the cloth-covered cords on the earbuds, which is a sign of quality. I thought Fast Charging on my old GS7 was great, but Superfast Charging is even better (I can go from 45% battery to fully charged (100%) in about an hour, which is something that took about 1.5 hours on my old GS7 with Fast Charging. The only downside I've experienced is that both ends of the included charge/sync cable are USBC (even the side of the cable that plugs into the included wall charger), so I had to order a separate USB-To-USBC cable from Best Buy to plug into my Mac to sync and charge my GS20+ 5G. This phone is a HUGE improvement over older Galaxy phones (I've been a Galaxy owner for almost a decade, and this is my fourth one), especially if you have an older Galaxy like I did. Verizon 5G isn't available in my area yet, but I can't wait until it is to try it out! However, the Advanced 4G LTE is still pretty fast when I'm not connected to my home's Wi-Fi network (it may even be faster than my home's Wi-Fi network!). Samsung has really hit a home run with the Galaxy S20+ 5G!

I upgraded to this device from the Galaxy S9 and the first thing I noticed was that the battery life is much better. I can easily go a whole day without a charge. The screen is beautiful and the 120Hz refresh rate makes it even smoother. Delay time on the camera shutter button is far less than my previous device. My only negative so far is that I'm still getting used to the fingerprint sensor. On the S9, the sensor is on the back and it uses your index finger. This one is on the front, and doesn't have a physical indentation for your thumb. I'm still adjusting...

Love this phone!! I love having the screen cover the entire phone, even the edges. The edges even light up on certain notifications. The pictures and videos are vivid, and zooming is easy. I love the different security options on the phone. You can choose between a pattern code, facial recognition, or a fingerprint ID. I still haven't changed the background from the stock purple background because it's live and beautiful; plus you can set an always-on photo, which will be on your lock screen (sort of as a screensaver) when you're not using your phone. I can also EASILY use this phone as a business tool, as it's pretty easy to operate (and I'm used to Apple products). It has so many more customization features too than any Apple product I have ever owned. My favorite is the Edge Panel. You can choose how many THINGS you want to add to the edge panel as shortcuts basically. You can choose people/contacts, screenshot tools, a compass and ruler, tasks, reminders/memos, and even apps! I swear I use my edge panel more than my actual phone navigation screens.

Great phone- Problem with Verizon promotion credit

We upgraded 2 Samsung S7 phones to the S20plus. Decided to change during the 4th of July sale based on pricing and promotions and the need to retire the old phones. The S20 plus phones are a very nice upgrade and have worked very well over the past month. More processing capability, faster charging, better pictures, huge storage capability, large clear screen, and better voice quality. Both phones were purchased at the same time on the same transaction and had the same promotional credit. I purchased online and the process included an automated verification with Verizon that both phones qualified for the promotion. Verizon applied the promotion credit to one phone with no problem HOWEVER, the other phone did not have the credit applied ($150 spread over 24 months). After hours on multiple chats with several Verizon agents over a couple of weeks I finally got the credit applied. Spent around 6-7 hours total and had to get Verizon management involved to get the credit applied. It was just approved - about 4 weeks after my purchase. It was applied so late that my billing cycles for the 2 phones will not be the same for 2 more months. I don't know if BestBuy or Verizon dropped the ball on this purchase. The technology is great but the sales/billing process, particularity for promotional credit, needs to be improved significantly.

Purchased after my Samsung S7 finally breathed its last breath. It was long lasting and a great phone. Wow on the S20+. This phone has phenomenal speed, on board storage and the camera is over the top. Once you go Samsung, you never go back. Extremely happy with my new phone. I researched the price at every outlet and Best Buy had the best price. Sales associate Thein helped me set it up and he made my transition an enjoyable experience.

Loving the phone and the awesome blue color! On First full charge, it seemed to die pretty quickly. I almost returned it there. But since then, the battery life has been amazing. The 120 refresh rate is so buttery smooth. The screen looks amazing. And for a phone this size, it still feels good in the hand and is easy to use and operate. Definitely recommended.

I upgraded from an S8 plus to this S20 plus and needless to say I'm blown away. If you're upgrading from an S10, you might not be as impresses as I was. The display is beautiful and the 120hz refresh rate makes everything run extremely smooth. The 12GB of ram more than adequate to run multiple apps and keep them open. The cameras take amazing pictures and are easy to use. I get a day and a half of battery life, which for me is great. I can't think of any negatives about this phone, but then again, I upgraded from an S8. Some might think the price is high, but I was able to get it for $400 off at Best Buy.
