beautiful phone. excellent screen. refresh rate is amazing. runs very diront set up. takes a few weeks for it to complete calibration/setup and learn your usage patterns and adapt to them. so expect poor battery life in the first week or so.

Had this for almost two years now and now traded it for another phone. However, i miss my S22+ as it had everything from performance to ease of use to great camera. Wish i hadn't traded it.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus - probably a downgrade from S20 + Purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus from Best Buy in 2022 left me with a mixed bag of experiences. On the positive side, the design of the Galaxy S22 Plus is sleek and premium, featuring a gorgeous display that's perfect for watching videos and browsing the web. The camera system also impresses with its versatility, capturing stunning photos and videos in various lighting conditions. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. One issue I encountered was with the battery life. While it's advertised as being sufficient for all-day use, I found myself needing to recharge more frequently than expected, especially with heavy usage. Additionally, the device tends to heat up during prolonged use, which can be uncomfortable and concerning. Another area of concern is the software experience. While Samsung's One UI is generally user-friendly, I noticed occasional lag and stuttering, particularly when running multiple apps or switching between tasks. This detracts from the overall user experience and can be frustrating at times. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor, while convenient, can be inconsistent and unreliable, often requiring multiple attempts to unlock the device. This detracts from the security and convenience that a fingerprint sensor should provide. In conclusion, while the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus offers impressive design and camera capabilities, there are some notable drawbacks, including subpar battery life, performance issues, and unreliable biometric features. While it may suffice for casual users, those seeking a flagship experience may want to explore other options.

I was having issues with my Pixel 7 Pro and was looking for a device to replace it. Found this S22+ as an open box item at Best Buy and screen size is very similar but boy this thing is considerably faster than the much newer Pixel 7 Pro. I always had signal issues with my Pixel 7 Pro (and the 6 Pro before it) but the S22+ gets amazing reception inside buildings and in all the "Dead zones" I had with the Pixel line. and for a phone of similar size it is considerably more comfortable to hold and carry around and feels considerably lighter than the Pixel. Only thing I miss with the Pixel is the Google exclusive and I hate I can't remove all the Samsung Bloatwear that comes preinstalled on the device I will never use.

Noticeable increase in speed and responsiveness compared to the S20 but worse battery life. Not necessarily Samsung's fault as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip is not very power efficient compared to the Snapdragon in the S20. Snapdragon development seems to advance by oscillations where on some releases battery efficiency is priority and others where raw performance is priority

Just bought this to replace my wife old Galaxy S9 plus. Which still works fine. The phone have decent specs, and feel premium. I was afraid of dropping it, so i ordered a protective case on Amazon since you don't want to have the screen cracked after paying so much money. The phone is fast, thanks to the new chip. But what's really impressive is the camera. Even that you don't get the S22 ultra quality, is still great compare with her old phone. She is happy with the phone, thats all i care.
