Customers love the M80C monitor's picture quality, ease of use, and sleek design. Many appreciate the convenient features like the built-in camera and USB-C connectivity for charging laptops. However, some users find the speakers underwhelming and wish for a higher refresh rate. The brightness and occasional screen flickering were also noted as potential drawbacks by a few customers.

    Terrific Monitor

Great Monitor! Expansive size works for viewing multiple open windows simultaneously w/out having to compromise on size. Appealing aesthetics make this a good looking device. Caveat: This monitor is connected to a Mac Mini. I initially used the enclosed HDMI cable from Samsung, and the resolution on the monitor changed regularly (2x/day) for no apparent reason. Had to unplug it, plug it in, turn off the monitor. Was quite frustrating. After troubleshooting for a while, I connected the monitor to the computer using a USB-C to USB-C cable and the problem disappeared. The included webcam is a bonus.

    Really great monitor/tv

I couldnt be more happier with purchase. The quality and build of the monitor is superb. The 4K content is on another level. I watched a youtube video saying bad stuff about the picture, didnt believe it and i got the tv, im glad i did. Its mainly conmected to my apple tv 4k box and it was worth the price. One bonus that made me bought it was the usb-c charger in back, it charges my iphone really fast. Had i bought a tv, i wouldnt had this option to charge my phone via usbc. Overall, buy this over any 32inch tv, its future proof and does so mang things when compared to traditional tv.

This is my second of these monitors. I had a slight mishap during a recent move with the first one and it unfortunately broke, but I like this monitor so much that I bought it again! I’m by no means a tech expert, but if you like having chargeability with a thunderbolt/USB-C and a built-in webcam for meetings, this is a great option. I have used this monitor in my bedroom for work at my desk and personal as a TV. Love it!

Monitor Usage Review by a Working Professional

As a working professional, I have been using the smart monitor for a little over three weeks, primarily on my days off, which total three days each week. Pros: • The display quality is high, presumably due to the 4K resolution, which offers clear and sharp visuals. • It supports multitasking, which is beneficial for those who need to work with multiple applications or documents simultaneously. • The convenience of switching between TV and PC modes with just one click is a standout feature. This flexibility allows for easy transition from work to entertainment, such as watching TV or playing Xbox. • The sound system appears to be integrated, which could provide a decent audio experience without the need for external speakers. Cons: • Software updates are anticipated, indicating that the current software may have issues that need addressing. • There is a reported lag when connected to audio devices, which could be a drawback for seamless audio synchronization or when using the monitor for gaming or media consumption.

    Samsung Smart Monitor M8 White

Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase! The screen size and sleekness of this monitor is amazing! I'm a die hard Samsung user and cannot wait until Samsung has an All-in-One destop! This smart monitor is great for doing my nursing coursework as well as streaming movies and binge watching shows on Netflix. The only issue I have is that the screen resolution is a bit off when mirroring/connecting to my Galaxy Book Pro 360. The picture seems distorted and pixilated. Overall I give it a 4/5!

Good update from my old 22” monitor

I bought this monitor to replace my 14 years old VGA connector monitor. It’s a excellent monitor. Lots of features. It’s can act like second TV and computer monitor. I figured out how to get the camera working while it’s connected to the CPU. All you need is a USB-C connection from the monitor to the cpu in order to use the camera in Windows. I also have this monitor connected to two CPU. Basically, two different computers. One supports HDMI and the other is VGA connected to HDMI. But system runs through what’s called a splitter. The only cons I have with this monitor is it’s plastic frame. The plastic is quiet thin. Assembling is easy but you must follow the instructions on how to remove monitor from packaging in order to connect the stand. Just lifting the monitor by the width can cause damage as it may break.

Great monitor, excellent picture, even in a 3 walled sunroom. Volume is very good…clear and loud. Instant connectivity with wireless. Remote and software layout on screen fairly easy to use. Only aggravation is that the stand is huge and since I planned to mount the monitor on a wall, it’s a piece of useless metal. Remember, this is a lightweight smart monitor.

Perfect monitor for my room. Its support 4k 60hz input via usb c, can connect 2 peripherals thru it to my computer, has screen share/airplay/samsung cast, and looks decent for a monitor. The thing that sets it appart from other monitors and tv tho is the aesthetics of it, it is so beautiful and the materials dont feel cheap

Decent visual quality but it's unusable and buggy

Decent visual quality, given it is a VA panel, but the rest of the product is hot garbage. On turning it on for the first time - It wouldn't just function as a monitor with my MacBook Pro (M2 Pro chip), - forced me to set it up first, but would not connect to the provided smart remote or show a QR code to use with a smartphone - wouldn't detect my home wifi - wouldn't connect once I typed in the details painfully using the joystick/power button on the back of the monitor - made it very difficult to skip this setup nonsense - once connected and functioning as a monitor, it doesn't respond to DDC controls - and even after charging the remote for 20 minutes it still doesn't pair with the monitor - or maybe it has but I only get a "not available" message if I press any button on it so the remote is functionally useless - Trying to re-pair or reset the remote does nothing 1 hour with Samsung tech support - who were clearly trying hard to be helpful - resolved nothing at all. The visual quality is just okay. I get fringe/ghosting artifacts with text – black on white background on any resolution. The color modes are a bit odd and even a "warm" color mode on the Samsung is noticeably cooler/bluer than a 2017 Dell 2715H. See the pictures for a comparison (the Dell is on the left and the Samsung is on the right). The colors are good but they look a bit harsh, almost as if the color saturation levels have been bumped up. There is somehow LESS detail in highlights with HDR off than the Dell that doesn't even have HDR, and compared to the MacBook Pro's screen (the best one I possess), the details are worse and the highlights are also washed out. I'm not a practicing designer or photographer or anything, but this aesthetic doesn't appeal to me. I can't tell if this is because of a VA panel or it's Samsung's eye-popping color processing aesthetic but the display just doesn't look as good as it should for a $600 display (I got it for sale at $500 but I would rather spend a hundred more and get a less harsh looking screen). A few web searches have convinced me not to bother even attaching the camera – if the basics don't work, I can't be bothered dealing with a misbehaving camera for work meetings. The industrial design is nice. That's probably the best thing I can say about this. I don't recommend buying this. Get an HP E or Z series instead, especially if you have a MacBook and don't want to deal with LG wake-up/disconnection issues. If you want a TV, get a TV, not this do it all thing that does it all poorly.

I love everything about my monitor it works perfectl for what I need as I wanted a TV but I also was limited because my space is also my office so it worked out perfectly. It’s not too big for my desk neither too small for a TV.

It even works fine. I don't have the original remote and I called customer service despite having paid for an "excellent" open box and they told me they would either give me my money back or I would keep the equipment. I'm constantly looking for a replacement remote on Amazon and that's how it works for me. So far, so good. Thanks

Beautiful design, perfect size (32in), amazing picture, fast and easy setup, lousy audio. So, I purchased a Samsung sound bar to help it reach its full potential!! A monitor with so many extra features had to me lacking somewhere, and I read reviews before purchasing, so I knew what to expect. I would definitely recommend buying it though.
