Controlling the dryer from the washing machine makes it easier for her.

I detached it from the bracket the second time and its working fine now

Why would you not purchase it? Make sure you pay attention when you buy a product the install kits make the installation complete the first time.

It's still a nice feature. PROTIP: You have to push really hard to get these connectors in, on both the washer and dryer ends. Best Buy installed for us, and this was the first thing I tried to test: "Dryer not connected." I pressed them in harder, it clicked, still not connected. I pressed as hard as I could, it clonked, now it works. At least I don't think I have to worry about them coming loose!
