Customers admire the Odyssey Neo G7's exceptional picture quality, crisp details, and vibrant colors, especially when using HDR. The high refresh rate and smooth performance are also frequently praised, creating an immersive gaming experience enhanced by the curved screen. However, some users note that the stand could be more stable, and the lack of integrated speakers is a common point of feedback.

I have no problems with him. It actually is really good. It can rotate all around and some nice touch, but you never going to really use it. The quality of the monitor looks beautiful but the shape of it is kind of weird. It looks cool but it's just really weird

***STANDOUT FEATURES:*** The curve of the display helps with immersion while gaming and continuous eye focus while engaged in productivity. Colors and contrast are highly customizable. Mini LED may not be what you would expect, however. ***BUILD QUALITY:*** Build Quality will be the first thing you notice as you unbox and attach the stand. Unfortunately, the back of this monitor looks cheap. There are designs emanating from the stand bracket and its RGB-lit surround, but Samsung would have done better to keep it matte black. The designs only draw attention to the fact that it is a uniform plastic material. The same holds true for the RGB lighting on the front of the monitor. The designs make you acutely aware of the material. Bafflingly, Samsung placed the front lights at a downward angle and set back from the front face of the screen so you can’t even see them without ducking your head. The “smoked” plastic surround for the rear surround looks good, though color selection is limited. ***DISPLAY QUALITY:*** The first thing you will notice about this screen is the anti-glare finish. If you’re used to it, you won’t mind. If you don’t need it and are used to touch screen devices, you will notice. It isn’t the biggest drawback, however, as Samsung touts “Quantum Matrix Technology” - yet provides far too few local dimming zones to really make it worth the cost. On a TV, 5+ feet from your head, 1196 zones would look excellent. On a monitor - 21” from your head - it just isn’t enough. I’ve uploaded photos showing how light blooms around light objects on a dark background. Colors, contrast, sharpness, etc. are highly tunable, however, so you can get as flat or punchy a look as you want. Unfortunately, the subpixel arrangement creates a set of horizontal lines which are glaringly noticeable on certain items and text. ***GAMING:*** As far as local dimming goes in gaming, the blooming is less noticeable, yet still is distracting enough to want to turn the feature off completely. Refresh rates - whether through DisplayPort 1.4 (5’ cable provided) - or HDMI 2.1 - are excellent. I wanted the full experience and opted to use DisplayPort and load up a few games. In every instance, lag was unnoticeable and framerates were quick with the appropriate settings on my 6900 XT. Variable framerate through Freesync did provide a bit of flickering when loading things up, however. The 1000R curve made for an immersive feeling, though the bloom from local dimming combined with the shiny speckles of the anti-glare coating took me back out of it. I am used to a glossy OLED, so take that for what you will. ***PORTS:*** On the back, facing down, there are 2x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 1x 20V Power Input, and 1x USB 3.0 B inputs. The USB B input allows you to plug peripherals into 2x USB 3.0s adjacent, and a 3.5mm headphone jack (fed by your preferred display cord type) is back there as well. Annoyingly, Samsung gave you no easier access to USB ports, like on the sides or chin. ***ON SCREEN DISPLAY:*** The onscreen display is operated by a hard to feel 4 way switch with center button (for power and OK). While comprehensive, and simple to navigate, this would have been far easier with a remote. Two plastic outcroppings make telling the location of each button difficult. ***STAND:*** The stand is easy to put on, but predictably fairly shaky when in use. The ability to tilt, rotate, and turn the screen easily while on 2 feet just comes with the reality that it won’t be the most sturdy thing. ***ACE IN THE HOLE:*** This will be a double-edged sword. My initial unit arrived broken. Whether my issue was a result of poor handling, I’m not sure, but the packaging material for this model is just not adequate. A representative from Samsung apologized immediately upon receiving my email and made sure to have another unit to me within 5 days (a feat, given that I’m in Alaska). While this unit wasn’t broken, the box still was, with the cardboard for the grab handle ripping the same in each case. Good job rep, bad job Samsung for your inadequate packaging which included NO “FRAGILE” or “THIS SIDE UP” indicators. ***CONCLUSION:*** Considering the price, I can’t recommend this monitor. It is 4K, mid-high refresh, and colors are good, but several features just aren’t up to snuff. I say wait for a real Mini LED.

I recently got the Odyssey Neo G7 32" Curved 4K UHD 165Hz 1ms G-Sync HDR2K Gaming Monitor for my gaming setup, and I am blown away by its impressive features and stunning visuals. As an avid gamer, I was looking for a monitor that could deliver the highest level of performance and immersion, and the Odyssey Neo G7 did not disappoint. The 165Hz refresh rate of the monitor ensures that every frame is delivered smoothly and without any stuttering or tearing. The NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility further enhances the visual experience resulting in a seamless and responsive gaming experience. The 1ms response time is also a game-changer, allowing me to perform at my best without any delay or lag. The curved display of the Odyssey Neo G7 is another standout feature that really sets it apart from other gaming monitors. The curve creates a more immersive experience that pulls me deeper into the game world, and it also reduces eye strain and fatigue during extended gaming sessions. The HDR2K display is simply breathtaking, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that make every moment pop off the screen. The 32" size of the monitor is perfect for me and the 21:9 aspect ratio is perfect for games that support a widescreen display. I also love the RGB lighting on the Odyssey Neo G7, which adds a cool, personalized touch to my gaming setup. The lighting is customizable, allowing me to choose from a variety of colors and effects to suit my preferences. While there are some cons to the Odyssey Neo G7, such as its color accuracy and stability issues, in my opinion, the positives of this monitor far outweigh the negatives, and I would highly recommend it to any serious gamer looking for a high-performance, immersive gaming experience. After some tweaking with the color profiles, I was able to get the display where I like it. Everyone is different so your milage may vary. All in all, the Odyssey Neo G7 32" Curved 4K UHD 165Hz 1ms G-Sync HDR2K Gaming Monitor is a game-changer that has taken my gaming experience to a whole new level. Its impressive features, stunning visuals, and ease of use make it a top choice for serious gamers who demand the best from their gaming setups.

THE BREAKDOWN: This Samsung – Odyssey Neo G7 32” Curved 4K UHD 165Hz 1ms G-Sync HDR2k Gaming monitor that is excellent for gaming. It has a curved screen with a 1000R curve to bring the edges more within your field of vision. It really focuses on high-frame-rate gaming in 4K. It also has other features such as FreeSync variable refresh rate (VRR) support and G-SYNC compatibility. This monitor uses Samsung’s quantum dot technology to display a wide range of colors and it has a Mini LED backlighting to help with local dimming. This monitor has been great for gaming! It features a high 165Hz with VRR support to assist with screen tearing. This monitor also has 4K resolution and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth that enables you to play those high-frame-rate games. I felt like this monitor had low input lag with smooth motion and nice responsive feel. The body of the monitor is a black plastic with a ring of zone lighting. I like the curve of the screen as I feel more immersed when gaming. When using it for documents it doesn’t give me that feeling but it also doesn’t seem to distract from my work. The base of the stand is made of metal and when mounted on the stand is easy to adjust. It does have some wobble but that could be due to weight. To control the monitor there is a directional pad with a power button on the bottom middle of the monitor. The buttons are a little more difficult to deal with than the joystick and I feel that they are too close together. I feel like a small remote would have been better. When I do use the button the screen wobbles and that is a little annoying. What was in the box? This monitor came with: -Power supply and cable -Display port cable -USB-B to USB-A cable -VESA-mount adapter -User guides. Some of the features of this monitor are black equalizer, contrast enhancer, dynamic brightness, Eco light sensor, eye care, infinity core lighting, local dimming, low input lag, ultra-wide game view, VRR control and Virtual aim point. The virtual aim point is a cool feature where you can choose a crosshair type and color and you move it around the screen to align it properly for your game. PRO’s: - 165Hz refresh rate - FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility - Quick response Time - Low input lag - HDMI 2.1 bandwidth CON’s: - The buttons are close together and if you have big hands it is difficult to use….A remote would have been better. - Screen wobbles when you use the buttons - SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for bike like this.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 S32BG75 is a new addition to the Samsung Odyssey line with 165 hz refresh rate and 4k resolution with HDR with LED local dimming. There are 1196 local dimming zones and VRR making this monitor shine for high resolution HDR gaming. There is support for G Sync and Freesync so you can have the best framerate with any compatible video card manufacturer. Samsung has seemed to fix the flickering seen in its higher refresh rate monitors as I did not appreciate any during testing. The monitor is matte black with a small Samsung logo at the bottom center on the front. There are colored RGB LEDs on the bottom right and left as well as in the back of the monitor at the mounting point of the stand. The stand is stable and seems sturdy, it is deeper than most to accommodate the large curved screen. It has good tilt and swivel range and the height is adjustable. There is a Vesa mount option if you prefer. The monitor uses a round touchpad with a central button for the on screen controls located in the bottom bezel just behind the Samsung logo. The touchpad was a little harder to navigate than conventional buttons but after I got used to it was usable. The monitor has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports; these can operate at 165hz with VRR up to maximum supported resolution of 4k and 10 or 12 bit color. The Display port connection is version 1.4 and can operate up to 165 hz as well but is limited to 10 bit color. The great thing about the ports is it can be used with your gaming console and PC and it automatically will switch to the device that is on. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports that are active if you hook up the USBA to USB input to your monitor. You can also connect your speaker or headphones to the monitor by its RCA 3.5mm jack. I wish it also had a USBC input for video as a lot of laptops and even desktops use this now. Samsung’s Quantum HDR 2000 is more a marketing hype than reality backlights only reach 2000 nits peak in certain rare circumstances otherwise they are a little darker. The mini LED backlights are less susceptible to backlight leaks and the blacks are much better adding to the great performance of this monitor. The backlights and HDR make this monitor look great in real use whatever the numbers are! As for color accuracy the monitor is sold as “Factory calibrated” which does improve the color but professional calibration will certainly improve this if you are a professional content creator. This monitor is fine for gaming and non professional content creators using the baseline calibration and their own tweaks. The response time is fast adding to its gaming performance. Overall this is a great 4k monitor for gaming. I can be used for content creation or business use but there are other monitors that may be better if that is your primary goal. For the cost this may be the best gaming 4K monitor you can buy at this time.

This Samsung G7 Neo 4K monitor is a very well made monitor and so versatile that it can be used for any other applications besides gaming. The monitor came nicely packed. It is 32 inches but is heavy and a bit bulky around the center. It is very easy to setup and the included stand was simple to attach. Behind the monitor you have two HDMI connections, 1 DPI, 2 USB ports, 1 USB type B and a headphone jack. This monitor is rated at 165hz refresh with 1ms response time. I usually play games on my 120hz TV but after using this monitor I immediately notice the difference. During my COD game play @ 120hz it was definitely much better on this monitor than the TV. The game was super crisp and smooth with no image lag whatsoever. I was really impressed. Despite it being a smaller screen I was actually playing much better. The color reproductions are very bright and vivid, which makes it also great for media viewing. The monitor supports picture in picture (PIP) so you can view two things at once. Adjusting the height and angles is very easy and smooth. The spiral in the back lights up and front corners. The lights can be adjusted or it can react based on the content displayed on the monitor. This monitor has no speaker but it has a headphone jack. I tried connecting my wireless headset using one of the USB but it didn't work. The wired one did work with no issues. The menu button is on the bottom of the monitor. The menu itself was very easy to navigate. I just wished those buttons were in different location or they had a little more separation. It will take a bit to get used to. Overall this monitor is great for gaming and the size it's actually perfect. With 165hz and 1ms response time, you'll play shooter games like a champ. Video images are stunning thanks to the support of HDR10 and the great color reproduction. Unfortunately it does not support Dolby Vision. In the box you get the monitor, power cable, stand, USB cable and manuals.

I had picked up the Samsung Neo QN90 and have been a huge fan of gaming and watching movies on that Television, when I saw Samsung had an Oddysey Neo monitor it was a logical upgrade for me. In the box you get What was in the box? This monitor came with Power supply & cable, Display port cable, USB-B to USB-A cable, VESA-mount adapter, User guides. The documentation guides you to use how the monitor sits in the box to attach the stand and base, which was very easy to do. I have this monitor set up in a dual monitor setup, my second monitor being a Samsung Ultrawide with the same buttons for the menus which was very familiar for me to go in and configure. I didn't go in to much other than change the refresh, lights and toggle a few visual settings on the monitor itself. There is a couple USB ports and 3.5mm headphone jack on the monitor, the screen has no speakers itself, but my PC would default to the screen, I simply disabled the output to monitor in windows so I don't need to change when I jump on. The Mini LEDs on a screen this size looks very nice, I toggle off HRD in windows since it really darkens a lot of the visuals and everything looks off. I primarily use this screen for gaming, I have my 1440P monitor on the side and while that monitor was great, this 4K screen blows it away when looking at it side by side. The 4K resolution shrinks things down in terms of font size, but everything is easy for me to read due to the sharpness of the text I haven't had to tweak the zoom on text for my games of web pages. I had two curved screen before the upgrade so the curved screen didn't require any adjustment on my end. The lights are RGB, you have a set of lights on the back and a couple on the bottom corners of the front of the display. By default mine, were off, I did change them to a blue light, which doesn't catch my attention upfront, and add a glow to the back on the wall. There are a few other effects such as switching between the array of colors or breathing, but I prefer a static color which is an option. As mentioned before, I was a fan of the NEO television, owning one myself. I have been switching a bit more to computer gaming, so this screen has been a dream, especially paired with my 3080. At this point I don't notice the curve, I would say if you're looking for a monitor to consider looking at this screen. I don't know if there is any mention to this being a Mini-LED screen but I did verify the specs based on model number on Samsungs site which states "Mini LED Local Dimming: Yes (1,196 zones)" This is something to factor in while shopping.

Stellar 4K Gaming Display with a few quirks

Deep rich colors and vibrate display - The Samsung Neo G7 32" Gaming Display ticks all the right boxes with a few caveats to mention. First the good stuff - Setup is a breeze with easy-to-understand instructions on how to assemble the display stand to monitor. Just make sure you have enough room on your desk to accommodate the wide-angle monitor stand. Second, the gorgeous colors this monitor produces are a treat for the eyes. Whether you are viewing media content or playing your favorite game, you will be sure to relish the vibrancy and richness of the color gamut this monitor supports. Native resolution is 4K 3840 x 2160 and up to 165hz refresh rate. If you have never used a curved display, it definitely takes some getting used to. Honestly after two days of use, it feels very natural and immersive. Note, this monitor does not have built in speakers, however there is a audio out jack to connect to external speakers or headphones. Now for the caveats - Out of the box, the refresh rate defaults to 120hz. You will need to go into Control Panel | Display Settings and drop down the menu to 165HZ to get the maximum performance from the display. The Display Controls are located in the middle of the bottom of the display and are hard to navigate. It took way too long to figure out how to change settings for color type, contrast settings etc... Hopefully Samsung will develop and release a software application for controlling the display in software. HDR Support - This is one of the areas where this monitor falls short. When enabling HDR Support in Windows, the display will change to a very washed-out state that is frankly unusable. One work around is to go into the display menu and change the display type to FPS or Cinema. This will balance the color saturation, brightness and contrast much better and provide the best viewing experience. Keep in mind the Display is quite heavy and will wobble a bit when attached to the stand so keep that in mind if you find yourself needing to access the control menu. Overall, I am very pleased with the Samsung Neo G7 32" Gaming Monitor and highly recommend it for all your viewing and gaming pleasure. Just keep in mind the caveats mentioned above.

The monitor was easy to set up and was able to produce excellent black levels and very bright, color-accurate HDR. There were two major issues I noticed with mine, though I used it only for a few hours. The first problem is a doozy and is due to quality control: there was a gray piece of lint or fuzz between the actual panel and the user-facing glass. I at first thought it was a dead pixel but after looking more closely I saw that it was affecting multiple pixels worth of screen space, and wasn't adhering to the actual pixel layout of the screen. The second issue seems to be one that affects all these panels and I had to see it to believe it: horizontal scan lines. These were not visible at first glance but after just opening the Windows Display Settings, the blue color indicating the currently-selected display highlighted the trouble nicely. Looked like every third row of pixels was a thin gray line instead of the blue it should have been. I tried lowering the frame rate down to 120Hz, disabling VRR, disabling local dimming, but couldn't get these to go away. At that point I decided to just return it and not re-purchase the same model.

It was hard to pay the price but this monitor is 100% worth the money. It looks like an Oled without the price. It doesnt have good viewing angles but its a monitor on a desk so its not a big deal aince you arent moving around, as long as you are in front on the screen it looks amazing. Games have never looked this good. The stand itself isnt bad it does move a bit (the screen wobbles/shakes) so if you're fidgety or if you have an unstable or cheaper desk you might notice this more. Over all i give it a 9/10

I was lucky and received a flawless panel and so far its looking great using a PC, PS5 and Series X. I do notice some flicker but its not bad and you have to look for it. Was able to snag it when it was on sale for $999 which for that price its a decent value but would not pay full price for it.

Great looking monitor, impressive hdr. However it suffers from garbage factory calibration and the Matte anti glare screen hurts the image quality a decent bit. Still worth it for the price though, and definitely for the on sale pricing.

First one caused my PC to not boot after about 2 weeks and spend 4 days figuring it out and tearing my PC apart only to find out it's the monitor. That being said, I ordered another because the picture was so freaking good
