Customers are saying

Customers recognize the POWERbot Essential's excellent cleaning performance and powerful suction, frequently praising its effectiveness. Many appreciate its relatively quiet operation and ease of use, although some users find the navigation system needs improvement and that its height restricts access to certain areas. The app functionality also received negative feedback from some customers. Overall, the robot vacuum receives positive feedback for its cleaning capabilities but has room for improvement in navigation and app design.

This is the 3rd robot vacuum that I have owned in the past 3 years. Hands down the best thus far. I have 4 cats and a Golden Retriever. Have allergies, so I end up cleaning regularly to keep the animal dander down. This little vacuum has the power and capacity to keep up with our house. We have both tile and carpet in the same room, and she runs over everything just great. Suction is strong, wind tunnel type technology picks up more than just the top dust and hair. large bin makes it so I don't have to empty in the middle of her cycle. The main brush is much better quality than competitors, and does not clog with the pet hair as easily as the others I have had. Would totally recommend! And it also has a quiet mode (limits the power so she runs quieter). Still works great on quiet mode, and it did not wake up the teenager.

We had a Dyson for about 10 years. good unit but got expensive to repair every time into the shop cost $300 - $550. Got feed up and purchased the Powerbot after much research. CR rated it very good. We have a 1 story 2400 sq ft. Carpet, tile, hard wood floors this machine is great. My wife starts it in the early am she will go into the study and start sewing. 2 hrs later come out and all the vacuume is done and back to its home base, and the floors look great. Our dog Max is not afraid of this machine. He just lies there and it cleans around him after he moves it cleans were he was. We do empty the cup after 2 uses which is no problem. Clean the brushes every 3 weeks. It is running great. It uses a straight pattern with a little overlap. It does NOT do random patterns and miss many spots. The noise level is low. You can sit down and controll it with remote controll. It will also spot clean, just move it over the area and press the spot clean button and it works out and then back in does a supper job.. Just the wife, myself and Max we vacuume about 3 or 4 time per week. LOVE it LOVE it.

I really enjoy this product, every day at 2 PM it goes off and cleans my entire downstairs in about an hour and a half . A few things I don't like is that it gets stuck from time to time in certain areas of my downstairs around kitchen table or dining room table legs sometimes it gets stuck on the rocking chair. But I do like is the flexibility to use my phone and start the vacuum if I'm coming home or if I'm going out the Wi-Fi on it seems to be pretty good it does however from time to time not pair with my Wi-Fi at the house for it drops the signal . I do enjoy however how powerful it is and it does also work on carpets pretty well because it does have actual vacuum power not just sweeping as the other vacuum robots do.

I have a cat and a dog, and I have a lot of hair myself! Everyday, before I leave for work, I turn the vacuum on with the remote control. We have tile and carpet in our house and the vacuum adjust to both very easily. When I get home, I look to see if the vacuum made it to recharge and I would say 7 out of 10 times it makes it to the charger, and the other 3 times it shuts a door or gets stuck, but it is easy to find and get it back to the charger. I have learned to put up cords, and any kind of item that should not be vacuumed. When I dump the canister it is always pretty full daily. It is amazing how much dust and hair we create everyday. I believe it is a great investment. The house looks so clean when we arrive home. Once the animals adjusted, they just know it is a daily thing and are not scared of it. One feature I have not been able to figure out is how to turn it on when I'm at work. I have the app on my smart phone and the wifi on, but can't turn it on if I forget to before I leave home.

I have a Golden Retriever and 4 cats. This little thing is a power house!!! This is the 3rd robot vacuum that I have owned and by far is the best yet. Runs daily, can program it or start it remotely. holds alot of debris, and has washable filters. Would recommend for anyone with long hair animals and / or has allergies. Strong Suction, doesnt clog easily, and simple to clean and keep running smoothly. 2 speeds so if someone is still sleeping, you can run on quiet mode and it still works great. No problem going from Carpet to Ceramic tile and back again. Long battery life and works fantastically! Plan on buying a 2nd in the future.

Pros: - Cleans pretty good and I really like the fact that you can do a spot clean. - It seems to learn the room layout and seems to be very methodical. It actually stops as if its trying to figure out what to do next - It's also not that loud yet it can still clean pretty good. You can even make it lower - albeit lowering the suction power - The app works well and you can even integrate it with Alexa (Amazon). Setup is also a breeze - You can see the canister right away without opening up the thing to see if it needs emptying Cons: - This thing is huge! This will probably be too tall to fit underneath most sofas. I thought my sofa was already high and it wouldn't fit. I bought a furniture riser for this thing to be able to fit underneath and it barely gets in there. It even gets stuck sometimes. Conclusion: You will still need your upright vacuum for deep cleaning and this will still miss some spots but for day to day use, its perfect. Works very well in carpets and hard floors. Being too tall is a big negative for me though. One of the advantages of these type of machines is to be able to get to hard to reach spots and it fails on that regard. I wouldn't buy this retail price and probably would wait for the next release as that would probably be smaller.

So my wife and I decided to go with Samsung's robot vacuum over Roomba or neato simply because we love Samsung products. So far, it has been working great. It lasts about an hour on full strength suction or can last a couple hours on the lower, silent mode. Our home is 2300sq ft and is too large for one of these to clean the whole home in one run. I've not tried it out to see if it returns where it left off after needing to recharge. It's also best to block tight areas that it can get into, but will either have a very hard time getting out or just get stuck until it dies. Also, it is not good on overly shaggy carpets. One improvement I'd like to see is for it to map out the home and program individual rooms to be vacuumed on demand rather that having to manually vacuum it or have it run its course until it gets to the expected room to clean. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with it.

    THIS VACUUM SUCKS

Very powerful suction. Pulled grit out of the carpet that the Kenmore canister with a power head missed. Takes the long way home and wanders around a bit but does eventually vacuum everywhere. No flying car yet but his is the Jetson's vacuum cleaner! It has the cat puzzled and mesmerized but he seems to be adjusting to his new friend.

I am a fan of the Samsung products and when I found out the Samsung made a robot vacuum, I had to have it. Best purchase ever! My carpet/tile/hardwood floors are spotless. Easy to use....easy to set up. It practically maps out my floor plan and runs. I especially like watching it find its way back to its home charging base.

This vacuum is very systematic in its cleaning and I was surprised at how much it actually sucked up! I am slightly disappointed that it doesn't get extremely close under our cupboards.

This little robot is better that expected. It has good suction, gobbles up dust and loose particles quite well. It's auto clean mode is pretty good at determining what has been cleaned and navigating around furniture. I would say it is worth the cost. The only problem, I could never get the Smart Thing mobile app to work. It also wants to go through walls when you send it home, it's fun to watch it find home, at times I manually direct it back or just carry it.

We have 2 dogs, 1 cat and a toddler in our house so it needs vacuumed everyday. This robotic vacuum works great. The suction is assume, it picked up all the dog and cat hair. Now you do have to prep the room. Picking up anything that could get stuck in the brush or hang up the vacuum. It goes from carpet to wood to tile with no issues. It runs over area rugs with ease. Now you will still have to vacuum. It doesn't do great in corners but now we vacuum once a week instead of daily. We have it scheduled to run everyday at 10am if we are there or not. It's great. We even gave it a name. We will never be without one again.

The Samsung powerbot has been worth every penny. It does an amazing job! We have two big dogs that shed at least another dog each day. When we moved into a new home we wanted to get a handle on the hair immediately. Even though the floor looks clean Sammy picks up a ton of hair and dirt. It has even cleaned up the dogs paw prints after being out in the muddy rain. It is not too loud and he does occasionally get stuck but not very often. He finds his way back to base without any issues. I highly recommend purchasing this item. We are very very happy we did.

We really enjoy having a robotic vacuum, it sucks really good but for the price, it needs more. It gets stuck often, won't go over floor vents, and after having one replacement already in a year, I'm not sure how great it is, definantly better than our neato but maybe not due to price

Great Suction and deep clean. Gets confused

Works well and has excellent suction, but tends to bump into a lot of furniture or get stuck in corners. The run time is only about an hour, but the total charge time is about 3 hours. It is a bit heavy for a robot vac, but the weight does seem to help it clean deeper into the carpet. Overall, works well and can be controlled by the app on my phone from wherever I am. I can activate it when away from home and when I return, the floors are clean. Really does well with pet hair and the filter is easy to clean. Simply empty the canister, wash/rinse the filter in a sink, allow it to dry and it's ready to go again. If offered an extended warranty when purchasing, I would definitely recommend it. This vac is complex and I've read repairs can be costly.

Powerful vacuum, I spent awhile just watching it maneuver around with good precision. We have a large home and this is taking a huge load off. Like having an extra person to help with the chores. Vacuum while you go shopping and it's done by the time you back. Just clean the dust out and you are ready again. Easy to set up and use.

Not inexpensive so I'll start with that. Considering you will need to manually follow this about once a week to really clean where it can't that is a factor to consider. It hangs up on cords and occasionally on throw rugs and such. It will grind away and then eventually stop. Only occasionally but I'm writing this review so all know my thoughts. You kind of need to "prep" your area if you want a guaranteed good job done. But then it does. Good job and while you are doing other things. Very nice. I have it vacuuming once per day at 10:00am. I will take it to each floor (we have 3 floors and a basement) and let it run. Pretty accurate. Sometimes it will miss an entire area and sometimes it will do an area 3 times. It is new technology and I just enjoy the good points. Buys us a lot of time and by vacuuming every day the amount of dust in the house is significantly less. Nice.

Worth a buy if you have a good size room. I like the way it cleans up the daily mess. However, you may need to pull out the stuff from real corners where this machine cannot reach. Ofcourse a robot can never replace a human :). Can't expect more.
