THE GOOD The visuals produced by this monitor is nice, sharp and clear. Great colors and good options for brightness and contrast. The 2k resolution is also really nice. I like the stand, a simple square that makes placing it on my desk simple and clean since I need a Triple Monitor configuration. The viewing angles are pretty good, no issue with this. THE BAD The cable management is really bad however, it's impossible to get the silicone strap to stay in place on its own, much less trying to strap down two cables. Seems like a waste of effort here. They could have done much better job, but now I just have cables all over the place and it was frustrating trying to get working. AND THE UGLY The really ugly thing about these monitors -- and I bought three of them -- is that they suffer from some really bad light bleeding along the edges, with one of them in particular having really bad bleeding from the top of the monitor (attached picture), so now it looks like I have a small lamp sitting on top of that monitor shining down on the screen, and it's really noticeable when watching movies or coding (my IDE is in dark mode), and sometime visible when I am viewing something bright. The two other monitors also have very visible light bleeding in some spots, but not as bad as this one monitor. It's unacceptable to have this much light bleeding, and I'm very reasonable about this. If each of these monitors are going to have bad light bleeding, they shouldn't cost as much as they do. My seven year old monitors don't suffer this much light bleeding. OVERALL If you're not gaming, or watching movies, or doing graphic arts, or even coding like me (in which you're always in dark mode), it might be ok for environments that are never going to be dark -- my home office is ALWAYS dark -- otherwise you WILL notice the light bleeding and it's extremely disgusting. Three stars because overall it's a decent monitor with good visual output, lots of options, and simple to assemble and setup. But do try to find something much higher quality if you can in this price range. As for me, I have to continue my search for a triple monitor setup that is NOT going to suffer this much light bleeding. What's up with monitors these days?

    Buyer beware

Buyer beware. You may find other info on the web showing this monitor as a full LED monitor. It is not. Best Buy at least got it partially right by listing it as an LCD monitor. This is an LED backlit LCD monitor. Where the LED lights exists only around the edges of the monitor to give it a greater viewing angle. Because LCD isn't able to evenly distribute light and color across the full panel, which results in poor viewing angles and poor color and lighting around the edges, they add the LED backlighting around the edges to compensate. This particular technology has been around for over a dozen years. Manufacturers used to try and pass these monitors off as full LED monitors when in fact they were not. There are reasons why full LED monitors are the standard now and LCD monitors have fallen by the way side. (Better picture quality for one.) Of course there is new LED backlight technology that exists now in the form QLED. They are very expensive and worth the money. You can purchase a 27 inch Samsung QLED 4k monitor for about $1500.00. There are reasons why that monitor is so expensive, and this 24 inch LED backlit LCD is so cheap. I wrote this review because I was fooled by the manufacturer. Their marketing is very good. They just aren't totally forthcoming with the facts. I placed an order through Best Buy for this monitor. I had shopped and researched quite a bit and I thought I finally found what would suit me best. Later I went to Samsung's webpage to try and find out whether or not this is an LED monitor because other retailers and review sites were showing this as an LED monitor, and Best Buy listed it as LCD. It was interesting to me that Samsung chose to leave that info out of the specification sheet on their webpage, as they do with all of their monitors. They're good at hiding behind QHD and UHD resolution and IPS panel descriptors. It's only later that you discover that it's an LCD monitor. This happened to me in the Best Buy store. A salesperson had me sold on a Samsung 4k monitor, and after a little digging I discovered it was an LCD monitor. Don't be fooled by this cheap pricing, because there is a reason it's cheaper. Anyway I contacted Samsung directly and found out that this monitor is an LCD monitor with LED backlighting. I'm just not interested in an LCD monitor, and I don't like the little games that some manufacturers like to play. So i cancelled my order with Best Buy. I ordered an LG full LED monitor through Best Buy instead. It's a very frustrating process to buy one of these monitors because there are so many options and it can be very confusing. Why would I pay $270 for an LCD monitor, when I can purchase a full LED monitor, which has far superior picture quality and techology, for the same money? In all fairness if you are in the market for an LCD monitor this may be a good choice because it does have an IPS panel with QHD resolution. And an LCD monitor with LED backlighting is going to better than a regular LCD monitor without it. For me it just doesn't represent a good value when compared to a full LED monitor for the same money.
