Just needed simple Blu-Ray player with WiFi. Easy to hookup and set up. Plays disk well. Happy with the purchase.

This is a good, low-end player. Cheap, but with plenty of great features like built-in WiFi and the access to popular apps like Netflix and Amazon. It'd be nice if there were some indicator lights on the exterior. And it is a bit noisy when loading a disc or during layer changes. But it does it's job and for the price it's hard to really be upset about it.

This is a great device for a wonderful price. I haven't had a need yet to even watch a DVD/Blu-ray disc yet since the apps like Netflix and Amazon have all the entertainment I could desire. It works as it should. The only downside would be that is has no lights on it to determine if it is on or off, so with my universal remote I often just have to assume it is on and working and wait a while to see if the start screen comes up on the TV--if not, then I just have to walk over and turn it on manually to be sure.

Bought this Blu-ray player to replace our DVD player. Very pleased to see it also came with Wi-Fi so that we can also use it for Netflix and Hulu Plus. Because of this, it replaced our 720p Roku. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others. Great price, too.

Originally purchased Samsung without Wi-fi, since I couldn't find my Ethernet cord I returned that model for the Wi-fi capable model. I exchanged within the allowed time and have been using it quite a bit since 2/14/16. At one point the Wi-fi needed to be updated. I unplugged the player, when the screen showed snow, plugged it back in and it updated itself. I've been VERY HAPPY with this Blu-ray player it works GREAT and I'm VERY thankful I got the Wi-fi model so much easier!!!

We stream most of our movies, but it is always nice to have a ]player to play the DVDs and Blu Rays that we own. This was a low-price player so I had low expectations, but it seems to work just fine. Worth the money and definitely meets my needs and expectations. We stream via a Roku, so I haven't used any of the built-in streaming apps. I did connect the player to my wifi to update the player firmware. That update took play without issue.

Overall, has decent quality for the price. The item is sleek, compact, and easy to use. Cons are that the product does not include an HDMI cord with purchase and the typing input ability is slow, awkward, and frustrating.

So easy to connect with my Samsung TV! Light, doesn’t take up much space, Picture quality is good. I do wish there was a light showing you it was on and off. But for the money go grab it!

This is a great choice if you are looking for just an BluRay player with built in WiFi...It's small and doesn't take up a lot of room. Stylish and compact, but great picture and ease of setup...

I bought this on Cyber Monday for my dad for Christmas to replace his old blu ray player. It doesn't have a light to let you know it's powered but he overcomes it by switching to the input channel before turning it on. The wi-fi is great. He says the typing is slow on it but I have never had a problem with it and I use it frequently.

This bluray player functions well. The picture and sound are decent for the cost of the unit. The menu screen is intuitive. Only two issues: 1) slow disc and application loading, 2) no light on the unit makes it difficult to tell if its on if the tv isnt also on.

Excellent picture, crisp images. Easy to use and set up. Only con, no lights on box to tell if it is on or off.

This product served as a replacement for my DVD player. It is a great piece of equipment for a non-Smart HDTV because it adds the ability to watch Netflix, Youtube, Amazon, and other streaming services. I enjoy the fact that I now have only one piece of equipment that allows me to play DVDs, Bluray discs, CDs, and watch Netflix/Amazon/other streaming services. Interestingly, I tried to program the Aux button on my Silver/Red Comcast Xfinity remote using the 20199 programming code so that I could avoid using the Samsung Bluray remote that came with the product. The directional buttons (up, down, left, right) on the remote, as well as the play, rewind, fast forward, stop, etc work on the Comcast remote, but the Select button doesn't, rendering the use of the streaming services impossible; though, the play/rewind/etc buttons do work with this Bluray player so I have been able to play my Bluray discs using the Comcast Xfinity remote. I have found initiating Netflix to be slower using this Bluray player than it is on a Vizio Smart HDTV that I have. Finally, I don't like the fact that the Bluray player doesn't have an on/off light indicating whether it is active.

Got it as a christmas present for the girlfriend who already had one for her living room, but would unplug it and transfer it between it and her room as needed. To save her the trouble (since she wanted another anyways) I got her another. Plays blurays/dvds + has hulu and netflix. On top of all the other streaming channels, you can plug in a usb with video media on it and play things that way. It actually recognizes a lot of file types. Would totally recommend.

I bought this as a bedroom blue ray player it works ok. It starts up slow and doesn't have any indicators or display to let you know what it's doing or even if it's on when the TV is off. The WiFi works well and all apps work well. just wish it had a diplay on it.
