I love this SSD it’s super fast lightweight portable and it sped up my workflow using final cut pro X! I haven’t had any issues with it I’ve used it on PC and Mac. This is a must if you were editing 4K video!

Purchased to backup my work. Lightweight, small and easy to carry 500GB data.

I love that the size of these drives is what they are, about the size of a small stack of business cards. And the transfer speeds, both read and write are awesome. Makes for a great partner to a low on storage space MacBook Pro.

I wanted to copy my music file about 300gb and growing flac files and some hi res files, I have them already backup to a 2.5 mech hdd, but I want a portable ssd, so I can carry it with me and play the music through different devices, I found this Samsung and for the price it does the job... very light and with a usb c connection, it is also compatible with the usb 3 so it works with my tv, receiver and blu ray player...I am very satisfied..highly recommended

Im nearly speechless. For the past few years I've used a traditional HDD 1TB (moving parts) type drive. It was effective but on occasion irritatingly noisy. Today, I decided to try an SSD, as my HDD was louder than my TV. What a great purchase!!! It's so quiet, I wasn't sure it was working! It too is a fraction of the size of my HDD. It probably would take 50 of the SDD to equal the physical size of the HDD. It too is a workhorse. It's lightning fast, smaller than a smartphone and doesn't talk back! (LAUGHING). Away with the nagging HDD and in with the SDD!!! One last thing, it's stylish/sleek in appearance.

This portable SSD from Samsung is extremely useful! I have a MacBook Pro and I’m using this SSD as a Windows 10 OS boot drive with no issues whatsoever. It’s fast and reliable and so far my only regret is not buying the 1TB option.

This thing is fast, versatile and compact. I have it running several medias at once including having it setup as my dedicated Plex server drive. Amazing product for the price.

500gb in such a small package in great but add the transfer speed and you have an awesome drive for photo and video editing. The T5 form factor is solid and the aluminum shell gives it a secure feel while providing good looks. If you are looking for a super fast drive and need additional storage or a stand-alone media drive, give the T5 a shot.

Well priced with plenty of storage for 4K videos. Small foot print makes it easy to mount on a camera cage. Very happy with price and performance.

It’s so small! This tiny thing copies my games and photos over in minutes. Much much faster than a standard hard drive.

I completed a lot of research on which drive to buy as I wanted to store many different forms of data on it. These items include games, business documents and software I didn't want installed on my C drive because they took up too much space. So I needed something fast and small because it's for a Microsoft Surface Book 2 that is also very thin and portable. The games I run - run perfect and the software I run and edit for work is seamless. Because it was so good I also picked up the 1TB version for family pictures.

Good all around for on the go backup and large laptop projects where additional storage is needed. Two cables included so it works with both old and new USB without a dongle.

I purchased this due to its copy a 4 gb file in ma matter of seconds. It read 350MB/s when transferring the folder. Pros: Lightweight, usb c to usb c cable and usb A to usb c cable included, fast transfer speed, stylish, remains cool to the touch when its on. Works with Windows, MACs and Android devices. It also has a 3 year warranty. It is usb c compatible. Cons: price is expensive as opposed to external hard drives and does not come with a storage pouch.

I needed a reliable small solid state storage device for offloading 4K video from my portable devices so I went with the Samsung SSD's being that I've been very happy with the speed and performance of their desktop SSD's. This thing is very small and gives me an extra 500GB wherever I am. Build quality is great and the speed is ridiculously fast compared to many portable drives I've used recently. Great choice if you're looking for some of the best portable storage available. Highly recommended!
