Picture quality and viewing experience is amazing! The kids love playing video games on here and they haven't noticed any lag when gaming. Setup was easy, sleek design for a piece of equipment that always has to be out and visible. If the wife would let me and i had the wall space, I'd have one in every room! If i had to list a CON: I was worried about kids touching or bumping cabinet it sits on and affecting the projection on the wall as its very sensitive to that( I'm sure most projectors can be sensitive to movement, but this is my first). My kids 2,7, and 9 have been very cautious around it.

I am writing about my brand new Samsung LSP9T projector. I was going to build a movie room in my basement...that is, until I started realizing the overall cost. To put together a pretty great room, all included, it was going to be in the neighborhood of $50,000-$60,000. I say that because if you are also looking in that direction, you can get a quality of the movie room for a fraction of the cost with this ultra short throw projector. now, I'm not saying it's inexpensive (try to get it when it's on sale...by the way, I bought mine at full price, about $6,500, but it went on sale the week after I bought it. IF this happens to you, call their 'price match' hotline or whatever, and they will honor the discount. I was willing to pay $6,500 for it, but wound up getting $1,500 back! Heckuva deal if you ask me! As for performance, several key points - 1) it can operate to the full 130'' screen. Moving from 55'' above a fireplace mantle to the side wall is incredible. 2) You will have to address daytime light in the room...ambient light does affect the contrast/ability to see the screen...but then again, that's why you don't have a window on the side wall of a movie theater room. It performs EXCELLENT at night if you have windows in the room like I do. I will be getting light cancelling curtains eventually. 3) Everywhere I read, they recommend a screen, and that might help with my 2nd point, but just on my regular painted white wall, it seems to work just fine. I will eventually paint the wall using matte gray paint, or screen paint gray, but for right now, i think it does just fine as it is. 4) I paid $200 for the total tech thing they offered, but the way I split up payment (about half on a best buy card, half on my own credit card), they said I can either pay no interest for 24 months on the card, or if I pay the entire amount off in 30 days from purchase, I'll get $200 store credit (so, basically pays for the total tech...and/or I can buy something else, like speakers. Because I heard horror stories of the LSP9T not working out of the box, I wanted to have a) the ability to return it without a restocking fee, b) getting the total tech got me 60 days, not 15 days to return it, so no restocking fee and 60 days to return (I kept the box just in case), c) full Geek support for the 1st year, so if the lamp goes somehow in the 1st year, they will replace the lamp, or entire thing in the 1st year, AND a 2nd year coverage of just parts...for as much as I paid, if it doesn't break down in those 60 days, it better not break down for the life of it (which is on average, 4 hrs per day for 17 yrs!!!. 5) Speaking of speakers, the actual sound bar on the LSP9T itself is very serviceable. It not going to give you surround sound results, but I found it pretty great. 6) operating system - I'm a Samsung guy, so my phone is Samsung. Most of my TV's are samsung...and i promise you, I get paid $0 to say that. the operating system is very easy to manage (2 of my tv's have a very similar system, so already knew how to operate it). I was able to download apple TV+ which was not loaded when I got it. All the apps work just fine. 7) The room I have this in is 9 or 10 ft high...I recommend buying a low-profile table, as the screen will take up most of your wall. If you have a low ceiling, but have a regular tv height stand, you're not going to be able to get the maximum size out of the projector. 8) even though the device has an auto-dimmer if you accidentally pop your head over the top of the lens, just be very careful...the 1st time I went to look at something in the back of the projector with it on, it did delay to turn off, so I almost caught 2,800 lumens right in my eyes...don't do that! You'll see the one picture my dog appears to be close to doing that. I assure you he was far enough away, and I don't let him get anywhere near it.
I've only had the projector for about 2 weeks now. But, I must say it has impressed me every step of the way. I need the light cancelling curtains to see if there is an improvement to daytime tv watching, but night time tv watching is pretty incredible. I don't see it as an expensive $5,000 purchase...I see it as paying 1/10th the cost I might have paid if I went forward with building a home movie theater for $50,000! AND, I'm getting the same screen size. And I have $200 towards getting a surround sound system to add to the room...very satisfied...so far!

I literally just picked this up today so hopefully I’m not speaking too soon LOL but this thing is cool! I can’t believe I never knew how amazing projectors were; or maybe just this one? I have it playing on a large plain textured white wall. No screen or anything and it’s perfect for me. I was looking for something easily hide-able for my minimalist vibe bedroom and this is nicer than I imagined it would be. I’m stupid with setting things up and this was so easy to set up, barely needed to adjust anything luckily. The speaker is amazing quality also. I’m just truly impressed and in love and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a normal tv again. Projector is the way to go!! I hope the quality lasts and doesn’t give me any issues but the quality is so good!!!

I’ve been watching this projector for the last 3 years and knew it would go on sale at Black Friday. Just as Black Friday came around and the items went on sale, I ordered it along with new TVs for the new home! The quality is phenomenal! The built-in speakers are powerful, even though I plan to buy and use Sonos wireless speakers, sub woofer, and Arc to give me a bit better theater experience. Nothing wrong with the projector speakers! They perform nicely. It is very pricey, even with it being on sale, but worth every penny spent in the end.

This is my 3rd laser ultra short throw project. The technology has finally evolved to a point where regular front projectors become obsolete. The image quality in terms of color, contrast, motion and resolution are breathtaking when matched with a Screen Innovation short throw screen. As usual, I ordered the whole package from Best Buy / Magnolia. I have used BB installation services many times and this time there is also no surprise, Great products, great service. Five ***** STARs.

I've got this projector paired with a Vividstorm S Pro 120, along with Klipsch Reference Premier with a Denon receiver. Even with full daylight coming through a side window, you still get a pretty good picture, but at night (or a dark room) it really shines. I really enjoy how easy it is to use as a television (with Samsung TV), and how awesome it makes movie nights with good surround. The projector itself stays quiet, and isn't noticable while watching a movie. I haven't connected my Switch to it yet, but it won't break my enjoyment if it ends up being a little laggy.
It's spendy, and if you want a crisp picture during all hours you can certainly save with a TV (and not having to purchase a separate screen), but you don't get the same experience as a giant 120" picture in your room. Plus, if your screen is retractable, you can put it in front of a window, block daylight, and retract your screen and still be able to see out of your window. The screen is a must though, and finding furniture to fit a 107" width screen if you don't plan on hanging it can be a bother.

Never thought a projector would look as good as this Samsung. When it comes to TVs I always went for Sony’s flagship but when paired with a good projector screen this projector is impressive. I purchased it open box back in September 2021 and paired with a grandview ust screen. My family loves it.

So i was pretty hesitant to drop that dollar amount into the unknown - claiming 4k results... that said, our family is very impressed. you will find it hard pressed to find flaw with the picture quality when paired with the ust screen (i am using the si screen option). i went 120" due to simple room capabilities and have not looked back. bb magnolia set everything up after exhaustive research related to room / screen height etc. we are having countless movie nights and havnt looked back since.

Would not recommend. Immediately after two two year warranty ended started seeing white specks across the screen. Research shows that this is due to dead pixels. Too expensive to go bad already.

let's be honest here, this projector isn't for everyone. the price makes that clear lol. but for those who want a large image projector with smart hub features built-in without dongles, and looks amazing night and day, and your a Samsung lover like me, you are in the right place :). the price is hard to chew on, but I can honestly say I haven't seen a projector that does 130inch 4k better than this. (I work in a/v and computer networking so I've seen a thing or two). the Samsung welcome screen from powerup makes you feel like you setting up one of there TVs and after setup the dashboard even looks like one of there TVs. in the settings there are plenty of screen adjustment options (no automatic keystone unfortunately) but other than that it looks freaking amazing

qianqian,
It's unfortunate to hear you're not fully satisfied with The Premiere. Please try the following which may improve the image clarity.
– Adjust horizontal distortion by rotating the unit to the left or right – Adjust vertical distortion by rotating the feet to raise or lower the angle of the projector – If the image is unclear, adjust in Settings > General > Projector Settings > Focus – If the image is not a right angle, adjust in Projector Settings > Screen Adjustment. You can also refer to our YouTube video for visual screen adjustments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh4ihcTXrSw
I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product! You can always contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Calm:
I am happy to hear that you are enjoying your 130” Premiere Projector. Samsung’s ultra-short throw smart laser projector brings the theater into your home with Triple Laser Technology and 2800 lumens. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Make sure you are running the latest firmware by enabling Auto Update: Settings > Support > Software Update > Auto Update (you will need to be connected to the internet for this to work)
2) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
3) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
Should you need assistance with your new unit, please contact Samsung Customer Support. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913.

After much research, I decided to go with this UST projector and could not be happier. Even with light in the room, you get a great picture and when you completely darken the room, there is no movie theater that can compete with it. We got the 120-inch screen which is also a must. I only sits about 20 inches from the wall, so there is nothing to trip over or interfere with the picture. It also hooks up well with my Amazon 4K cube and into our tuner with 7.1 surround sound. This unit will give you an amazing experience for both sports and movies. Peter at Magnolia put together the deal and made sure everything was perfect, going the extra yard.

Upgraded from a Benq1085 short throw.
Worth every penny, amazing picture quality and brightness. We currently use a blank wall for the screen but Im sure the image would be even better with an ALR screen (will be our next purchase).
Built in speaker is also impressive but we have our own surround set up.
You'll need about 7-16 inches of space and a fairly low console. Make sure you factor positioning distance for your set up including the height from the device to the bottom of the projected screen. There is a spec sheet that shows these distances. Screen positioning can be a little tricky at first.
The screen handles ambient light relatively well so we are able to use during daylight hours. The projector has handled casual gaming well. Built in apps also are easy to use.
I was hesitant to spend so much initially but have not regretted it and may never go back to the movies

You get what you pay for. I saved up, pulled extra shifts, all the while wondering if this was worth it. I upgraded from a $600 1080p Epson short throw to this... obviously a huge upgrade. The nuance between this and single laser , honestly , is barely noticeable by the average consumer. If you’re an enthusiast it’s definitely night and day. You’ll have to make that call if it’s worth the extra dollars.
All in all, I was going to return it if it wasn’t a big enough upgrade. Happy to say, I will not be returning it. The apps are slow but it works, contrast is amazing, color very vibrant, theater quality in darkness/theater settings. Amazing

Just pure joy! Excellent vibrant colors, very bright projector with excellent contrast. It just exceeded my expectations, I never expected these vivid colors from projector, from TV yes - but not from projector. It has this WOW effect first time you turn it on and start looking at hdr youtube videos, it's very clear and vivid colors. Before that I had 5040 Epson, Sony vpl-hw45es, and still have 65 OLED CX by LG, which were all great products and I thought I was spoiled by them. But I still got that WOW effect, I really like colors and clarity. And all of that is just on white wall in my bedroom, I'm still waiting for my screen to arrive - so I cannot even imagine how it can get any better.
For CONS, operating system feels a bit sluggish. It works, and you can watch youtube, netflix, disney - anything, but feels a bit slow. After some time I just connected my desktop to it and this is where I truly started enjoy this projector, played some games, browse internet - it's just a pure joy.
