This is my 3rd Sansa. I buy them because the value compared to the high- priced I-pods makes it irresistible. My first 2 were Views. Lost 1 & dropped the other in the toilet. It actually worked when I fished it out except no audio output. I bought the clip because I don't need the big screen & it has a convenient clip(be gentle with the clip-it can break) . I've found a few tricks with these things. When it freezes up turn it off. Hold down the start button for 20-30 seconds. Wait a few seconds & turn it on again-it should work now. Also do not fill up the memory more than 80-90%. This is when it starts having problems. Buy a bigger micro SD card. This is what their customer service told me & my own experiences verified. It also has a problem charging. When it is off & charging it will not charge all the way. It will even discharge when past 90%. Turn it on & put it on hold & charge it this way. Will charge up fully & faster. Makes no sense but this is what my Clip does.

I bought this last Easter for my daughter. A year later it is still going strong and she still loves it! The storage space on this small (size not storage) MP3 player is amazing! My daughter has loaded so many of her cds to it and there is still extra room. Adding and removing songs is really easy to do. The battery is awesome! I have only had to charge this for her a couple times in the past year. The best part is it charges while you have it hooked up to a computer to load songs.

I've been through 3 of these MP3's, the first because it went in the pool (oops), the 2nd one, the volume button on the side stuck and it wouldn't turn the volume up any (down works, but the up didn't), and I'm on my third right now. I use this a lot for golf practice and working out, it sometimes freezes up, but I just turn it off and back on again and I'm back in action. I always drop it and its only once broken (the 2nd one). i love this MP3!!! :D

I've had this player for about 3.5 years. The battery life is great. I received it as a gift. It's my second SanDisk mp3 but my first of this model. The first one lasted for quite awhile and then the battery life got very short; but I still use that one also. I listen to audio books on this one every night which I download from my library - cannot sleep without it! I use mini-speakers, or if traveling use ear-buds. Last night it just went totally dormant. I followed another user's suggestion and held down the power button for 30 seconds, then powered it up again and voila - it lives!

I bought one for me and one for my wife. It was OK while it lasted, but mine crapped out after 3 months. Hers lasted 6 months.
