Well when it comes to memory, 128GB is not a bad thing in an Ultra Plus SD Card. I remember when to put that much memory into anything, it was usually a giant hard drive. Remember Hard Drive CD Writeable Camcorders? Yeah, well this is all that memory wrapped up in a package the size of a postage stamp, and much easier to lose. Because I know for a fact that I have at least a half dozen of these things laying around my house somewhere full of photos and memories and for the life of me they evaporated about the time I started thinking about replacing my ailing camcorder from 2003. Which I did. Here’s the best part about this thing. I didn’t have to format it. All I had to do was put it into the camcorder and that was the end of that. So... Now I can effortlessly hunt Bigfoot and the paranormal with plenty of room for special effects shots showing nothing happening except for the green screen ghosts.

Ultra Plus vs Extreme SD Cards

I had a trip coming up and I only had one 128GB SD card for my Sony video cam,so I was looking to grab another one before my trip。I didn‘t have a lot of time to do research and I admit,I’m no expert on SD cards,so I thought I would stick with what I had being the Extreme。However,I mostly found the Ultra PLUS SD cards on sale at a good price。I was mostly confused by the speed being faster at 130 MB/s compared to the more expensive 90 MB/s Extreme SD card. All I say, not being an expert is that I didn’t suffer any degrade in performance using the Ultra Plus, so you should be safe using the less expensive Ultra Plus card for your video camera.
