Great speaker stands for the money

I wanted stable speaker stands for my new speakers, but I did not want to spend over $100 for them. I found these wood Sanus stands that were the right price, but some of the reviews concerned me. I am glad that I bought these and I would highly recommend them to other people. The wires can be hidden in a U shaped channel, which is formed by bending a rather rigid flat piece of plastic like material into a U and then pushing into the slots on the back of the stand. I had no problem with the design and the end product looked very nice. The stands are made out of MDF (engineered wood), so you can't treat it like steel or solid wood. If you know how to work with MDF, then you should have no problems with this product. It is solid, stable, looks good, easy to put together and it is reasonably priced.

Works perfect for rear speakers and adds a nice look to the speakers over all. I was happy with the design which enclosed the speaker wires so that there not seen.

    Good stand for the price

These were very easy to assemble, and are stable on hardwood floors. I have Best Buy's B&H 685 speakers which measure 7.5"x12", and they are stable on the 6"x6" speaker platform, although I might rethink that if I had a toddler or cat in the house. The wire management is a plastic cover slotted into the column. The hole in the speaker base for the wire is pretty small, it may be able to be drilled for heavier gauge wire.

These speaker stands are awesome. Well designed and very sturdy. I bought 2 packages, for a total of 4 stands. Granted, I am very mechanical, but I am NOT a genius. It took me 25 minutes to assembly all 4. I ran the wires later and then put the wire cover inserts on. Very well thought through on design. I did over tighten one screw and pulled the nut out of the frame. No problem, little gorilla glue backed screw off a little, pushed back in, wait 1 minute then tighten. Wa La. The ONLY issue I had, was when I look at the directions, I could have bought speaker stands that are taller. Did not see them in the ad online when I bought. I would definitely go 36" tall to clear furniture so the sound blast right at ya. OVERALL, these are great. No kidding.

    Exceeded my expectations

Purchased the 30" Sanus Speaker Stands and was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality and look of the stands. They exceeded my expectations. Very easy to put together and worked very well with my Sonos Play 5 wireless speakers. They also included an optional top platform for wider speaker bases. Great price, great quality. Amazed at how much better the sound quality is now that my speakers are up higher. I am VERY happy with this purchase and plan to get another set in the future.

Sanus Speaker Stand: Sturdy and Stylish

If you're in the market for high-quality speaker stands that are both sturdy and stylish, the Sanus Speaker Stand is worth considering. I learned about them from Alec, one of the head guys at Geek Squad, and I'm so glad I took his advice and got them for my home theater setup. One of the best things about the Sanus Speaker Stand is how easy it is to set up. The Geek Squad team came out and got them installed for me, and it was a breeze. Once assembled, the stands are incredibly stable and secure, ensuring my speakers won't tip over or fall off. The Sanus Speaker Stand is also adjustable, so you can customize the height to suit your needs. This makes it easy to find the perfect position for your speakers, whether you're using them for music, movies, or gaming. Overall, I highly recommend the Sanus Speaker Stand to anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile speaker stand. They're affordable, easy to set up (especially with the help of Geek Squad!), and built to last, making them a smart investment for anyone who wants to get the most out of their home audio system. Sincerely, Emmanuel Clark

    Blends with formal decor

I chose these stands for my rear speakers in a Dolby Atmos setup. I got the Cherry finish because they blend nicely in a formal furniture decor without being obtrusive. They are very stable and resist knocking over. They assemble quickly with a phillips screwdriver. The plastic shields on the back conceal speaker wires. The hole in the bottom plate permits speaker wires to exit below the plate. But I am using powered wireless speakers and the hole was not large enough for the AC plug so it had to exit above the plate, no big deal. I do wish they were 6 inches higher so they would be higher than the back of a sofa, but I don't see any stands out there higher than 30".

I already owned a pair of these stands for my Onkyo system. I liked them so much I bought a second pair for my set up in a different room. They're sturdy, look nice, and hide the wires well.

For the sale price, a solid buy. Thick MDF post seems very anti-resonant; speaker platform is stable - esp. with some blue-tack holding down the speakers. Fairly easy to put together - despite picture only directions. I was a bit confused by the inclusion of two speaker platforms - but didn't last too long. Was not too bad putting in speaker wire management system (plastic sleeves) - before platform was put on. It did slip out a few times while I was installing, but I managed not to chip/scratch the finish. I do agree pre-bending the plastic strips might help. Looks pretty nicely finished, in glossy piano-black, and so far - after a month or so - it's stable (on wood floor - didn't try spikes), and hasn't been jostled over. No opinion on sound improvement - but there is no vibration from speakers, so I assume anti-resonance of MDF post is good. Looks sharp - and a nice addition to home theater system. Durability rating is 4, only because I have not had the product set up for long. I expect it to last a long time though.

This is the second set of Sanus speaker stands I've owned. The first were nearly identical from over 10 years ago. They're nice looking and well made. They are well packaged and come out of the box in perfect shape, no nicks and scratches like some cheap stuff these days. Very nice stands overall.

These stands look good and were not expensive. I have large bookshelf speakers and these stands support them well. I'm glad I saved money and didn't buy the more expensive stands.

These are very well made speaker stands. My only slight is they could make the mounting plates a tad larger to accommodate Polk's largest book shelf speaker.

I purchased two pairs of these stands for my new Klipsch R-51M bookshelf speakers. They sit either side of my 55" TV. They look really good and even my wife liked them. They match perfectly with our modern furniture, which includes glass top entertainment center and cherry wood side tables. They were excellently packaged to prevent/reduce in-transit damage and the fit and finish of both sets were flawless. Sansus always includes a generous array of spare parts to make the stands flexible for different tastes/applications. I also have a set of Sanus metal stands for my satellite speakers. Those had an incredible selection of parts to accommodate many different speaker attachment systems. These wood stands assembled in minutes, just four screws and you're done...unless you want to mess with installing feet. I did not install the feet because the stands are much easier to slide into position on the carpet and still remain sturdy. The stands are rated at 25lbs, which I suspect is accurate. My Klipsch R-51Ms are only 11lbs, but I'm confident these stands would still be sturdy with additional weight. Overall, I'm very pleased. Best Buy also had /has the best price on the internet. Checked Amazon and Crutchfield before purchasing.

I bought my first set of Sanus stands in 1999. They are as beautiful and functional as the day they were new. So when I needed speaker stands for the den, no brainer choosing Sanus again. I have cherry Polk RTi speakers and these match beautifully. They are both sturdy and elegant. Cable tracks keep all cables out of sight. Buy them for life.

The stands are attractive and stable. My only problem was the hole to feed the speaker wire was too small to feed my speaker wire to the top plate.
