  • Great dock for Macbooks.

    This dock is amazing looking at it based on functionality. It allows me to connect from my work laptop to my personal laptop almost instantly with the switch of the thunderbolt cable. The only downside is the port to run to the PC is on the front of the device which hurts with cable management.

    It's big, I used to run a netbook that was smaller than this. Does not allow use of 4 monitors at 4k on Windows, in fact I cannot get more than 2 monitors to run at 4k or even 1080p, never had more than 2 monitors running at once off this dock in any configuration. Positive note, if you want to spend the money this dock will help remove some 'load' from your work laptop, especially if it's a subpar machine but has a Thunderbolt port on it.

    Disappointed in this item. I wanted to link my personal and work computer and utilize multiple monitors but this device would not allow this capability.

    Had this docking station two months and the ethernet card goes out. Since the item was already past the two months return period all Best Buy could do was to replace it with the same one. Hopefully this one lasts longer than two months.
