    Well built set, very sharp and the included stand is a nice addition to the set as well.. Great if you can catch them on sale. Definitely treat the handles with mineral oil, its a definite must and always wipe your knives clean after use to prevent rust.

    I am very picky about my knives. Every year I buy a cheap set, and get rid of the old set. This is not only a beautiful set, but fantastic quality. I look forward to keeping this set. I would recommend to anyone who loves to cook. Looks amazing on my counter,

    Great knives. Extremely sharp and it has very good handle grip. Not to mention it looks very presentable in the kitchen with its see through block. Very elegant display.

    As others have noted the metal part of the handles and the wooden parts are not machined to fit well together. The initial feel of each handle is that it will cut your hand if you press down but fortunately that doesn't occur . Out of the box I recommend wiping the wood with a good coat of food safe mineral oil and repeating from time to time. The handles looked pretty dried out to begin with. Bread knife saws through a bun a bit tediously as the teeth are tiny but other blades cut and slice well. Too early to tell if they remain sharp with repeated use.
