So far, its been great! Easily connects to Nexar App, monitors incidents and automatically saves to the SD card. Also records full length drives to your phone (you can choose how much storage it uses) and easily save clips of the drive to your photo album. Also has parking mode without the need to hardwire it. As an AutoTech Installer, I would highly reccomend!

The Nexar app is easy and the camera can record whole drives in one shot with GPS location tracking you're exact route and also tracks youre speed and senses hard breaks or other incidents that may be important. It is a little sensitive and will turn on on it's own when you first get it but after a few days it will not do this anymore. Perfect first camera for young adults and anyone who thinks they should have one.

I've had this dash cam for awhile now and it is probably the best one out there. I can see all my drives on the app on my phone in case i have to go back and look and save them as well. 10/10 dash cam

Its ok for a cheap dash cam. Doesnt loop record and is difficult to use at times. The stream feature is nice, but cant be relied on when needed. If you forget to delete and something happens youre s.o.l. do a nexbase, cobra or rexar insteas

This is a really great camera. It comes with a suction cup mount that is a quality mount. The greatest feature of this camera is that it uses your phone to store video and then uploads to the cloud as to not take up too much space on your phone. I do wish you could select video length like 5 minute or 10 minute clips cause the video will be as long as your drive. This is a good camera for people who want to record encounters with police stops because it's stored on your phone, so even if they took your memory card out, it's already on your phone and saved to the cloud. You can't lose the footage. Quality is really clear and would be even better if they had a 4k version.

Total trash. Constantly freezes to where I have unplug and just wait for battery die. Don’t even know if it’s working being it has no screen and can hardly ever get it to connect to my phone. Should of stuck to garmin. Waste of money.

This is so easy compared to my old dash cam!! I used to have to download the video from the chip into my computer. This camera hooks directly up to my phone, then sends the video to the cloud. I am already planning on buying a second one for my wife’s car. This is the way technology should work!! Plus it has a parking mode. In case my car gets hit or someone is trying to break into it, it will record it.

it could have better video but it works great. I use it everyday

Nexar’s NEXS-1 dashcam is a really good product. The setup was pretty easy via the app, and the included power cord reached from the center of my windshield to a USB port in the foot area of my minivan’s center console. The picture is clear both day and night and I’d love that you can see the live video on your phone. My one complaint is that you need to connect to the camera via wifi to view the live feed. This is a bit of a downer since I connect to Apple CarPlay via my car’s wifi, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Customer support was also exceptional.

The suction does not stick to the windshield, camera falls off, mine actually broke from falling down.

it sucks because it doesnt connect to my phone but my boyfriend says its good

I’ve had mine for 3 years and it has been able to withstand being left in the Texas heat. I was recently in an accident and it was able to detect it, make a clip, and label it “collision”. That made it so much easier to send to my insurance company.

Purchased three of these on sale. Will not work with Android phones. Even the new one I purchased that says "compatible" doesn't work, I have to use my old iPhone. One dead on arrival would never turn on. One worked for a while then died, currently does not work. One works for no longer than 20 minutes before it loses video to phone. I have been in contact with them within a week of purchasing these broken useless cameras. They would not refund or exchange or even offer to try a different one. I am now throwing these in the trash, wasted hundred of dollars. Save your money and buy a quality product.

I like the fact I can look for the videos from my phone.
