    Seagate is prob the best HDD you can buy. 1tb there's plenty of storage there. 7200rpm it screams

    I've been using this hard drive for nearly a year and have had zero issues with it. I installed it with Windows 10 and, after a bit of learning the new software, am very pleased with my purchase. I may buy another to make a back-up drive should I wear this one out. It took 7 years to wear the last one out.

    This is very much a quality HDD, but in the year 2021, I expect new HDDs to not have noticeable noise. Thankfully I just use this in an external drive enclosure for backups. When the backup starts, the sound from the drive writes is loud enough to distract me. I'm not saying it's crazy loud, and you can probably find ways to muffle it, but other HDDs I've used, even some older ones, are pretty quiet.

    This is a great device that works well with our setup. Seagate has a great reputation. We build a new computer for my daughter and this gives her more storage for all her games.

    Seagate 3.5" internal HDDs are very reliable in my experience. When used for Linux Live Disk persistence they seldom display any e2fsck disk check errors. Previously, I purchased a similar Seagate HDD, retail version, at a local Best Buy which came with a SATA 7-conductor data cable and a SATA 15-conductor to 4-conductor power adapter cable. My only complaint with my current website purchase is that the description of the product did not specify whether the product was a retail version with cables or a bare drive without cables. Turned out to be a bare drive without cables for about the same price as the retail version with cables. However, the free shipping does make it price competitive.

    Bought this after a WD drive from Office Depot failed while trying to set up a Windows 10 disk mirror. Works really well and setup was simple
