Are you joking me? I purchased this drive on April 19, 2024. I seem to remember being upset that Seagate's phone number was removed from the box. I had to drop to diskpart and dos to format the drive for Windows 11. But Seagate has never let me down; ever since the 1980s, they have been my first choice for hardware. Up till the Samsung/crucial SSDz, I sell them and seldom use any other storage devices. It contains 22 TBS OF STORAGE and can read and write at a steady pace of around two to 300 megabytes per second! It can keep EVERY picture or video file on ALL of your devices, including OS's from apple ii, amiga to win 3.11 to 11. For tiny businesses like mine, where I've worked on auctions for over 23 years, partitioning can even separate your data and provide a DUAL backup on 5 TB of storage. Mounted out on the outer casing of Sabrinth. The one thing about the summer heat wave that worries me is that it can get really hot, so 98 degrees without air conditioning or fans could be a problem. though even that is seldom. I therefore virtually always suggest Seagate and, if the surveys are still open, I also examine updates once a year.

These are pricey hard drives, but they have definitely been worth it. I have had no trouble with any computer or software recognizing them despite their unusual size and they have worked flawlessly so far even with all the EM interference around lately.

Instead of using my shucked WD Hard Drive I opted to go with 2 of these for my parity drives. Not that the WD didn't do the job. I just think is a good idea to go with something different and more of a server class drive plus the longer warranty and at the time they were comparable in price to the WD shucked drives.
