Customers have good things to say about the gameplay, story, action sequences, and controls of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. However, some players find the game's difficulty challenging, citing a steep learning curve and demanding boss fights as potential drawbacks. A few also mentioned frame rate inconsistencies. Overall, the positive feedback on the core gameplay mechanics outweighs the concerns regarding difficulty.

Combat is fun and very fast paced, you definitely feel like a shinobi slicing up enemies. You can also use stealth which is fun, and you will also come across a grappling hook. All three are new and extremely satisfying approaches to the souls series.
The story seems to be set in a real world, as opposed to the whole "undead" world that the souls series is known for. I am still very early in the game, so that may change.
Great game! I recommend this game for both new and old players of the soul series.

If you have played a souls game you will be a bit familiar with the formula here. Though Sekiro’s combat is much faster than any game in the Souls series. The combat speed here is more on the Bloodborne side as far as speed but also completely different, if that makes sense. As expected in a From Software game, amazing game design, wonderful art and music and of course difficulty. The difficulty is not frustrating, it challenges you to get better and greatly rewards you for doing so.

This game is actually a work of art. Playing it made me realize one of the main things that goes into a video game. It is supposed to challenge you. Sekiro was an exceptionally hard game that made me scream with rage with every loss, but I kept going back to it. I could feel the improvement and that alone kept me coming back again and again. The gameplay is exceptional, the design is exceptional and this is definitely one of the best games I have played on the PS4.

plays great, rewards skillful players, but is unbalanced at times and while it expects a lot from players, it also throws too much at you in combat and limits segments with poor level design and underutilized mechanics and equipment.
story is unremarkable, and while the characters are interesting, nothing really happens outside the main plot.
Majority of the game can be stealthed but the mechanics are rudimentary at best and all bosses must be taken on normally, with stealth only serving as a method to reduce the encounter.
it also lacks any replayabitlity due to Having no dynamic game elements, the same level design throughout playthroughs, Stat upgrades limited to Story bosses, and those bosses being unchanging aside from stats.

Fun game only when you win. This is a challenging game similar to bloodborne, demon souls, dark souls. I like the combat system and the weapon upgrades.

Although I have not played Dark Souls or Assassin's Creed, this game has both in there in terms of mechanics and difficulty. This game is not your easy-mode run and slice and dice game, you actually have to be careful about where you go and how you deal with enemies. This game is really fun, the Dark Souls and Assassin's Creed aspect add nothing other than challenges and enjoyment to this game (and a little bit of frustration), definitely worth the money =D

I've never been into the From Software style of games. I tried to get into them with Bloodborne, but it just didn't vibe for me. Sekiro on the other hand? A whole different story. This is the first From Software game that truly has captured me as a player and makes me want to progress and master their battle system. It's incredibly rewarding, yet devastatingly difficult and always has a new surprise in store for you as the player. Try it, you may like it.
