Since these are made by the well-respected Sennheiser, I knew that they would be great earphones. Overall, they are pretty balanced and powerful, though they do have increased bass, but not enough to overpower the rest of the music. The sound is basically on par with what Sennheiser consistently puts out (these are cheaper than their usual offerings, so they don't have quite the same level). For build quality, these are solid. The plastic bodies feel light, yet substantial, and I have no worries that they will break after extended use (the warranty is comforting too). My only issue would have to be the comfort of the earbuds. I think that the large ones are the most comfortable, out of the several sizes that are supplied, but even they don't stay in when walking very well and start to hurt my ears after 30 or so minutes. I haven't compared the sizes enough to make a definitive distinction of the best one, but so far the large do seem to be more comfortable. The remote buttons work well on my friends Galaxy S5, however, with my phone (HTC One M8), the volume buttons end up changing the song. I don't fault Sennheiser for this, since Samsung does produce the most Android headsets and therefore most headphones with volume controls will be tailored for Samsung devices. I just want to warn you that if you have another brand of Android device (LG, HTC, Sony, OnePlus, Motorola, etc.), the volume buttons may not work correctly or even at all. The buttons, except for the center one (works well on all devices that I have tested these earphones with), do not work on Apple devices (iPod, iPad, iPhone) at all, so be warned. The model for the Apple-compatible version is the standard Momemtum IE, not IEG (G for Galaxy, I assume). Overall, these are fantastic headphones for the cost and any issues I may have can be overridden by the sub-$100 pricing. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to buy a nice pair of earphones without wanting to spend massive piles of money. I would have given them 4.5 stars, but the Best Buy site only allows 4 or 5.

The headphones are very nice looking and are well built. Very comfortable once you find the correct size of inserts. Sound is very clear with deep bass. Cable length is perfectly generous and feels durable. Would definitely buy again if given the chance. The case is also very nice.

These earbuds produce an amazing sound, There as good as any headset that I have ever had maybe better because they are very portable. I would buy them again.

I really liked these. At first it may seem like the bass isn't heavy but these focus more on clarity. You also have to make sure you have them placed in your ear correctly for the strong bass. I love these.

So I came to buy these because I have been a Sennheiser headphones fan. The sound always strikes me to be very professional, not too bassy not too dry. I am using them with my Samsung edge 6 with UHQ upscaler and Tube Amp Pro turned On. This gives me a bit of the bass that I like to hear which is like a mild thump. Pros: 1. Songs with drums! I love it! The beauty of these buds is that they can drive the bass effects ONLY IF YOU WANT IT TO. Unlike a few Sony or Beats models that just add bass irrespective of what you are listening. 2. The mids sound so clear and a bit distant sometimes. People have mentioned about a different soundstage but am not so technical. Overall I love the clarity of the vocals. 3. Treble is good. I listen to live, pop, jazz, techno and unplugged music. Overall, it's a keeper for me. The case is a good way to protect them from dust and moisture. Also saves it from long term wear and tear.

Sennheiser does it again with these headphones. The tones are rich and the bass is deep. They sound great for all types of music, not just bass-heavy. Also, the bass isn't overwhelming; everything is well-balanced and easy to listen. Highly recommended!

these headphones were suggested by my brother. i had beats before this but these headphones are way better.

If you feel my three star rating is low, it may be. The reason for a three star in this particular case is because of the feel of the silicone rubber ear pieces. I don't find them comfortable. Sonically, the clarity is excellent. The bass is tight. The highs and mids are clear and bright. If these had soft foam ear pieces (can be added aftermarket) I would think the bass would be deeper. Overall, very good for the money. The 90 degree jack is also a welcome feature. Nice carry box. Microphone is super sensitive. Go figure.

These sound awesome but could not find any of the ear pieces that would stop them from feeling like they were falling out.

Found a much better sounding pair for same price but on sale elsewhere. This brand was a bit disappointing.

I did a lot of research before buying. I was looking for noise isolation. The earphones came with four sets of tips and I tried them all and none provided the noise isolation I was looking for. The sound quality was fine but I bought these specifically for isolation and returned them.

Overall I am very happy with these earbuds. The base is full and expansive and the highs are detailed and crisp. My one wish would be that the midrange was set a bit more 'forward' in the soundstage, but overall these are the one of the best pair of buds I've ever owned. FYI - These are especially good for electronic and or hip-hop music.

I was hesitant to purchase a pair of earbuds for around $100, but these have not yet disappointing. Sound quality is exceptional at about 3/4 of the Iphone's volume. At that sound level, your are completely immersed in the music experience with barely any surrounding noise coming through. The remote functionality truly is what sets this set apart from others. With the option to pause, skip, go back, fast forward and rewind, you'll never have to pull your phone out of your pocket. The multiple earbud sizes are a plus as well. I have two different sized ear canals, so it's nice to custom fit. I'm sure there are other units out there that produce a hyper inflated bass response, but trust me and get these as I'd imagine the sound these provide is similar to what musicians heard while mastering their songs.

I purchased the momentum headphones for myself about 6 months ago and Iam very pleased so far. First of all I'm most impressed with the case that is very good quality and makes storing the headphones easier. The sound quality is very crisp and clear with very good range. The mic that is built into the headphones makes handsfree speach easy and works great for adjusting the volume too. Overall for the price i feel these are a really good value and have excellent features.

The clarity is astounding. They do a nice job of isolating outside noise. great treble, great base.... great earbuds
