It arrived with two big dents in the front, one on the hinge. This got me looking at the hinge support and it's just a thin metal bracket that a hack saw could cut through in a few minutes or a good strong crowbar could likely pop the two spot welds. There are four heavy dead bolts but on only one side of the door so they're for naught with such a weak hinge. So it's only good for keeping honest people honest and limited fire protection.

Relatively small footprint but offers good ammount of storage inside the one downfall is a pre set combination that I don't think can be changed

Good device for keeping things safe from fire or flood but not something for the person trying to protect documents with "ultra" security more of an inhome office safe to keep documentation you may need more secure from fire or flood.

90% well constructed. Some plastic parts that I'm not sure how well will wear over time, but this isn't something that will get a lot of daily use from us, so it should be fine. Also would prefer to be able to set the combination. Other than that, we're happy with the safe. We bought it to protect a few things in the event of a fire.

Large enough for everything you would need it for at home. Small enough to move but large enough to discourage theft. Front not as solid as the 1995 safe it replaced, but great value at this price.

It seemed good, but I can also see why people said that the handle was a bit flimsy. Other than that, it was sturdy (over 90 lbs. to be exact). It was a bit larger than expected, but it did seem like a quality safe, though I would have preferred being able to set a combination.

Simple dial with a key for more security if needed. Heavy, can't just pick up and walk away with it.

Like the product, handle is the only concern. Features are great. Like room it provides for 8 1/2" x 11" documents.

It's a good safe but the key does not over ride the combination. You must use both to open safe. You must also open safe every month to air it out because it waterproof otherwise you will have moisture.

Noise size and weight weaned something too heavy to carry away and small enough that it didn't take a room to put it in.

The safe is a good size and weight. Sometimes the combination dial is a little tricky to line up the numbers. Happy with quality but the handle could be made a little stronger.

it is difficult to unlock, also you cannot reprogram the combination. I do not like that about it, but it does the job of protecting my goods.

this safe is perfect for me. I was paying 100 bucks a year for a saftey depo box at the bank. for just over that I was able to purchase a device for home

Great safe for the price. We use it to store paperwork and numerous types of gun ammo. Handle feels like you may break it if you pull to hard

Purchased this fireproof safe to hold important documents. Worked great. Simple to use. Exactly as promised. Came in 2 days.

I did some review before I bought this safe, came out to 2 of 3 that interested me, I didn't want to spend more then 200 nor I wanted to buy a safe under 100, something with solid construction, non digital, non electric, no batteries, just a mechanical safe, which is less likely to break or get stuck somehow and prevented me from opening it, is just my opinion.

Good for my use. Has worked very well but only have opened and closed it a few times. Good for the price.

Well it's a great safe. It's much bigger and heavier than I thought from the pics. It's a good thing as this safe is pretty heavy duty and built very well. I was impressed. It's a shame you can't change the combo from the factory, but no big deal. I would highly recommend this safe!

Very good small to mid size safe,worth the money!!

Safe is great, but it’s not black like the description and picture. It’s grey. I tried 2 times to get black and they s not grey both times. Had to carry the 100 pound safe into store for a return. Do not suggest.
