I purchased this chair 1 year and 2 weeks ago. I ended up with a base that had cracked in half making the chair unusable. As I am the only who uses this chair and weigh 165 pounds, I am left to believe this is a material defect in the product. I reached out to Serta and they sent me to the warranty department. After waiting for 45 minutes on hold, the warranty department told me I would need to pay for the new base, have it shipped and reassemble it. When I purchased the chair for $280, I did so with the peace of mind I would be buying quality and would get some longevity from my purchase. I went back to Serta and asked if this was the best customer service they would offer me. They told me that it is just their name on a third parties material. I followed up with emails, only to be ignored. The chair now sits propped in a corner and I am sitting on my $15 TJ Maxx stool until I call the warranty company back and pay for the parts, or throw away a $280 purchase that I was only able to use for a year. Never again will I buy Serta.

I am extremely disappointed in this chair. Itbis the most uncomfortable chair I have every owned. I was willing to pay the $300+ for this chair because it was a Serta thinking it would be very comfortable, boy was I wrong. I will never buy anything Serta again. The "lumbar support" is an absolute joke, the chair does not recline enough so you always fee like you're being pushed forward. I am not a very tall guy amd even I think the backof the chair is short. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OF THIS TRASH!

I love this chair, very comfortable and I like that you can rock a bit, but also lock into place. Was easy to put together as well.

I bought this as a Christmas present to my husband since he went back to school online. He said it's the most comfortable computer chair he has ever sat in and gives great back support. It's also very quiet...for now, but hopefully forever!

Comfortable, good for back support, good head rest

I love this chair! I spend way more time at my desk than anyone should as a self-employed instructional designer and graduate student. This chair is comfortable all day. The fabric also seems to be quality. Sometimes, when I'm sliding it closer to my corner desk, it grazes the side panel edges-- after 3 months, it has no rubs or tears! It was easy to put together, too. I will add, though, that I'm only 5 ' 2" and the back arch support sits perfectly in my lumbar. I don't know if this chair would work as well for a very tall person.

This chair is very comfortable. The arm rests are adjustable, as is the seat. The only negative is the back is not adjustable. Other than that you can sit for hours.

I bought this chair online. And, never sat it it until we set it up. It is fantastic . .. as a writer and computer based instructor for college courses, I spend a LOT of time in this chair and it is brilliant. Serta rules!

Great purchase all the way around. Very comfortable and professional looking chair. Best Buy price matched a competing retailer, and free Elite Plus shipping made it an even better deal.

I think the chair is good and delivers on its promise. I would caution trying to put it together by yourself. As the instructions say, you really do need two people. I had some issues getting the back support part in likely because I did it by myself. But overall, a good product.

The chair is easy to put together and is of good quality. However, if you are over 5' 7" or 5' 8" I do not recommend this chair. The back is too short so the "headrest" portion will cause you back pain over time if it is used often. I have spent a lot of time working and gaming in this chair and decided to switch back to my old chair because of the back pain.

Working from home had required me to sit at my computer for long hours. My back was killing me! This chair made all the difference! Highly recommend!

After six month of working from home on a folding chair, I decided to invest in something more comfortable. This chair fit the bill. Looks professional while also being comfortable. Provides good lower back support. Sturdy construction. Assembly is not difficult and does not really require two people as some of the other reviews have stated. I am happy with the purchase and expect this chair will last a long time.

my son loves this chair. It was a Christmas gift and he specified he wanted lumbar support. He says it is better than expected and fits him perfectly. He's 6'2 and always had trouble with the headrest but now he doesn't with this chair

This chair is easy to assemble and feels great to sit on.
