Great remastered And a beautiful story. The gameplay is very good as well.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best games ever made. The fact that a new generation of gamers get to experience it on PS4 is amazing. The visuals and audio have never been better. The new modern control scheme really helps smooth out the gameplay and makes it feel less clunky. The framerate is a solid 30 on PS4 and 60 on PS4 Pro. The photo mode is really well done as well. An Amazing experience, I recommend anyone go try.

This game is an unrivaled classic. The special edition's steelbook is beautiful and I'm pleased to have added it to my collection. The map and the stickers included in this edition are rather disappointing though. The map comes folded, which is annoying, and it is rather small. The stickers are very small (about the size of a fingertip each). They look great though. The postcards are just prints, one sided pictures. I personally love this game but expected a bit more from a special edition released for fans. Still glad I purchased it though. I'm a sucker for a steelbook.

Quite simply, this is the way remakes should be done. Gorgeous visuals, remastered music, and perhaps most importantly, IMPROVED gameplay. If you have a PS4 Pro, you're allowed to choose between a performance mode (higher framerate, smoother gameplay) and a visuals mode (nicer visuals). That feature alone, that gives the PLAYER the choice, makes this the Gold Standard of remakes (even better than Crash N'Sane Trilogy).

I never played the original game, but i was happy to try and play the remake. I heard many good things about it. This game seems special and unique. I liked the challenge of fighting giants and how to determine their weaknesses. It is a pretty decent story also. There are plenty of great designs and variety of the giant creatures.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best games of all time. It did so much on the PS2 that no game really matched. Now, rereleased on PS4, the game seems to have reached the heights the developer had envisioned for it. The game is GORGEOUS, the minimalist story is still engrossing, and the gameplay has been tweaked slightly for wider appeal. All in all, THIS IS HOW YOU HONOR A CLASSIC TITLE!!!

Man, this classic PS2 game was rebuilt from the ground up for the PS4 system and it really shows. The graphics are stunning! Bluepoint really knocked it out of the park! I'm glad Sony decided this game was worth updating for the current generation of gaming graphics. Beautiful story with one of the best endings in gaming history. The steelbook is really nice as well.

I remember playing the original game on the PS3 and now seeing this remastered version I'm getting to experience that whole world again in high definition. Although the gameplay is familiar the enhanced graphics make you truly feel immersed in the game world. This is a great adventure/exploration game...go buy it!

This is a great and beautiful game. If you did not get a chance to play this on the PS2, you should definitely play it on the PS4. Yes, the controls and camera are a bit clunky at times but that doesn't mean this game isn't unplayable. It's a great experience that everyone should enjoy and have fun. Thank you!

This is the game that started the conversation on if Video Games are an art, and it is also the answer to the question. A resounding yes. This game is as beautiful and haunting as it was in 2005 but now in the crisp visuals of 2018. If you care about video games in any significant level, this is a MUST PLAY

SOTC is among the best games I've played in my life and blue point has done a great job in remaking it. Improved it but at the same time kept the essence of the game intact. I am very much disappointed with the steel book though. For a game with so much great art available the steel book just looks meh.

This is an excellent remaster/remake of an awesome game. The special edition comes with a number of extras, including postcards, printed instruction manual, physical world map, and in-game extras. The game comes in a stunning steelbook, with all items packaged within a nicely designed cardboard box.

The remake for this is absolutely stunning. I don't have a 4k tv or a PS Pro and it's still a huge upgrade from the older visuals. If you're new the game or want to try it out again, I would definitely recommend trying this remaster. And the special edition comes with a few nice upgrades.

I love this game. Played it on PS2, PS3, and now the remake on PS4. A lot of the gameplay flaws have been made better, but still not perfect. But I'm glad they made it that way. It still needs to retain the essence of what the game has always been. This is how you remake a game. Fix minor flaws, but basically make the same exact game. The visuals are extremely impressive. It's basically a series of boss fights that require critical puzzle-solving skliss to defeat...like Punchout. You seek out each colossus, figure out how to defeat it, and slay it. It's a poignant game.

It is a great way to go back and experice SotC again. New players will enjoy the new graphics but may get tired of the game play and barren open world.

This game is incredible. I never got to play the original and only part of the PS3 remake. What they've done with the graphics of a PS2 game is just insane, and the game is still in a league of its own as far as scale, art direction, etc. A must play at a great price.

This is the way the game was meant to be played. It looks as good as I remembered it. Gameplay isn't that good though, but if you've played enough PS2 games then it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Bluepoint is no question the best in the business of finely recrafting greats from the past and bringing them up to date. This is not an exception. This game looks and plays better than the original classic instantly making this a must buy.
