I bought this vacmop to help keep my home clean, and it was really loud, which took me by surprise. It cleaned really well, got rid of all the dog hairs, but it would constantly get stuck or run into non existent obstacles, or go around in circles in the same spot and more recently it wouldn’t stay connected in the app. I returned it and bought one straight from the Shark website and that one didn’t work either, battery stayed on 0%. In conclusion It works really well when it works but the technical difficulties are so inconvenient so there’s that

Absolute freaking garbage. The little things on the roller that are blue are some kind of cloth and I haven't even had it 2 weeks yet and they're tearing off and fraying and falling apart and the mopping function is hopeless. It sits there doesn't go more than 2 ft and says it's lost. It can't find its way. It's right in front of its dock within a foot and it dumps water all over the floor. Do not buy this piece of junk. It does a decent job sweeping but it it's not going to last long if these things are destroyed on the brush within 2 weeks. I should have stuck with Bissell even though it gets stuck under everything. Now I need to buy a separate one just so it'll mop because this one won't. Soon as soon as you put the mop on it it puts its stupid hat on. Doesn't know how to think or going anywhere. Stops and send you error codes that it needs put back on it stock when it's a foot in front of it and it doesn't know where to go. It doesn't seem to do this as much sweeping but the brush didn't hold up. As far as mopping goes, it's never even completed a whole room. It just gets stuck in one open little tiny area. That's about 2 ft from where it started tops. Total waste of money. If I could take it back I would absolutely junk. Not worth three bucks, let alone 300 and something.

I have previously owned another high dollar robot mop brand for years and it worked ok when it worked. Some days I had to spend almost 30 minutes trying to get it to work. It would stop in the middle of mopping not to mention it did nothing for my grout on our tile floor. Since we have owned robot vacs for years and our house is big enough for 3 of them, I was tired of crawling on the floor looking under furniture and beds for them almost daily. They didn’t always return to their self-emptying base. So, I started looking for another brand of robotic mop. I did my research, watching videos and reading reviews on various websites for about a month. I also wanted a mop that would vacuum at the same time it mopped. We decided on the Shark RV2001WD mainly because it had 2 side brushes while other Shark VacMop have only one side brush with air blowing on the opposite side. We purchased our VacMop and set it up to charge all night. The next morning, I ran the explore feature on the laundry room and kitchen, then set no go zone on the area rung in the dining room. After the VacMop was all ready to go I filled the tank with hot water from the tap and put in the solution included from the box, but you can get it anywhere. Then I placed the mop attachment and through the app I set it to start mopping. I was really happy with the way it mopped and vacuumed. The mop reservoir doesn’t hold a lot of fluid and I must fill it twice for my mopping area. This is the only drawback for this shark. After a few days my husband noticed that the grout in our tile was getting lighter. At first, I thought it was just his imagination but then after a few days I realized he was right. I guess the motion movement of the mop head is getting the dirt out of our grout. I was so impressed with the Vac part of this shark as well as the mop head. We have 4 fur babies (2 large and 2 small), they can track in dirt, mud, grass etc. so mopping every day is a must in our house. I have also recommended this Shark to my daughter because she has a lot of tile. Only one time did it get caught on our back door threshold because I forgot to shut the door. It does have trouble going over higher thresholds other than that it doesn’t get stuck under cabinets and always go back to its charging base when the mop head is empty or needs to recharge. This one doesn’t have a self-emptying base but that’s fine because I mainly wanted a mop. I just empty the little dirt or small particles in the dust bin and blow out or take a small brush to remove the debris. Its everything I could ask for with no regrets.

As a vacuum works great, mapped the house on the first pass and the larger bin holds the dirt. As a mop on the other hand haven’t been able to get it move the cleaner from the reservoir to the mop pad tried everything.so planning on returning it ,to expensive for just a vacuum

I returned this robo vac because of it’s mapping malfunctioning. The maps were distorted & I was exploring my home & wasting the battery just to end up with the same results. This hindered me from using the other app features & mopping component that I was highly interested in.

I wish the battery lasted longer. I had to setup/scan the rooms in 2 parts due to the battery running low and device returned to base before finishing. The work around be to have 2 and split the house. I do appreciate the fact that it comes with spare brushes. Noise level is higher than expected, but tolerable.

Pros: simple, easy to use. Vac and mop in one. Can clean even without Wi-Fi so long as you have a map saved. Sturdy wheels can climb over thick rugs and yoga mats. App allows you to identify locations of rugs or carpet where you don’t want to mop. Cons: mop tank only good for medium sized room, so expect to refill. Mopping quality only good for “finishing touches”, cannot remove sticky floor messes. You need to remap every time you change the layout of your furniture. You need to remap whole cleaning area even if you only made changes to 1 room. Alarm not very audible so you have to be with notified via phone through the app to know if the robot is stuck or you need to fix something.

Mops in circles and error messages "stuck". I have to be behind it or it leaks out I will contact Samsung because I am sot happy with it. I will update the review if anything is fixed.

I recently bought the Shark Vacmop and my initial impression is very positive! I like how it scrubs the floor while also picking up small debris. In the past I have used the Swifter WetJet product and though it left a shine on the floor, it dragged dust and debris across the clean surfaces. Also I always had to buy refill cleaning fluid bottles with the Swifter but what’s great about the Vacmop is you get to put whichever cleaning fluid you like to and don’t have to go to the store to get refill bottles! I usually put a mixture of fabuloso and warm water, it does the trick! I also was impressed by the weight of Vacmop, very easy to maneuver and not bulky. I have used it for small messes and kids bringing dirt into the house on their shoes as well as cleaning entire floors of my house. Highly recommend trying the Vacmop, I am positive you will be impressed just like I was.

I have 2 Shark vacuums, older Navigator and newer Apex DuoClean and love them. It's a great brand...even after years of use. Wanted to try a robot vacuum for a while now. It's the only brand I thought would be a good fit for me. And since Shark's new 2 in 1 robot just came out. Even better, right? Well, here's my review and opinion for those who want an actual users experience on the week+ I spent with this robot: After downloading app and inputting WiFi credentials. Step 1 requires the robot to "Explore" your home to create a map of your floorplan. Seems simple, but didn't work well for me. The Smart IQ lasers and other sensors took 27-28 attempts (5 minutes - 60+ minutes each attempt over 3 days) to finally see some of my house. I noticed in my house, part of the problem, it hates hallways and glass doors. My robot was flustered if it saw glass, and avoided the hallway. While I still don't have a full map of my house. On attempt 27/28, amazed it finally went down the hall and found 1 bedroom (have 3 bedrooms), I went with the map showing 10 rooms (actually mapped: kitchen, dinning room, living room, hall and 1 bedroom [5 rooms]). Best to just call it close enough and move on to actual vacuuming. BE PERSISTENT! Step 2 requires the robot to determine where carpet and smooth mopable floors are. This was close, but would require tape measures and math to get right. The robot just wasn't close enough based on the map it had to work with. Step 3 is the actual vacuuming. It's now day 4 since my little buddy arrived. It was decent for surface debris and pet hair on high suction setting. It was a bit loud ( I know it's a vacuum) and I didn't trust it could reliably clean enough of the floor on a single charge to be worth the poorly mapped version of my house to know where it missed and get it on the next trip. Not much deep cleaning considering I followed up with an upright vacuum and it had just as much fluff and more grit in it's bin. And emptying the robot is less than perfect. Fluff/dust sticks to the pre-filter screen. Plus side, you can rinse it in the sink. I don't see any electronics. Just pull the yellow filter out first. The mop part will only be good if you have zero carpet between hardwood/tile/linoleum sections of your house. Two rooms separated by a room with carpet will get a free carpet mopping! And the mop is a damp toweling at best, not true mopping(my opinion). It barely cleaned rainy day footprints once they dried. Not Sure How The Carpet Mopping Conundrum Is Avoided! Ultimately, if you have very little furniture and pull the curtains for glass doors when you set this robot up. And this VacMop robot specifically...only have hardwood/tile/linoleum floors. It might be a good choice for dust, debris and pet hair. It's new fin design didn't get hair tangles. BUT, if you have many furniture pieces and carpet mixed with a few smooth floors. This probably isn't the robot you are looking for. It will avoid bumping into most objects. But my robot had trouble with legs on raised furniture it could pass under. Legs on couches, were repeatedly circled and rubbed against for minutes at a time. Not Impressed with this Smart Shark. Barely better than random bump robots I saw reviewed on youtube. Needs Further Education or Better Sensors!

This was a Christmas gift from my husband and it's disappointing to say it was a waste of money, it charged overnight and when I checked the app it shows on a 90%! I've tried moving it on the dock to check if it's a connection issue but it never goes beyond 90%. It doesn't clean well and the battery drains way too quick. A waste of money. Would not recommend!

    Good Vacuum with Some Drawbacks

We upgraded to the RV2001 from the Sharl RV750 because we wanted something that could do mopping on our hard floors and I was tired of the RV750 - I think it got dumber over time because it was always getting stuck under chairs or under a bed or other places where I didn't want it to go. I was hoping for a better experience with eh RV2001, and for the most part, it has been, but there have been some drawbacks too. If you're an existing Shark smart vac app user, the RV2001 uses the same smart app to control, set schedules, etc. So that was nice that I didn't have to download another app to control this new vacuum. The problems I ran into started during setup. We have AT&T home internet and I use their smart wifi mesh extenders and for some reason, this vacuum just does not want to connect or stay connected to our WiFi. For a smart home device, the idea of WiFi connection not being maintained when everything else in the house can is more than frustrating. It took several attempts to connect the vacuum to our WiFi. Once it got connected, the vacuum started yelling out "Unable to connect to your WiFi network." I reset it, logged into the app, and changed that setting so that voice prompts wouldn't wake me up in the middle of the night. A nice feature of this new vacuum is the ability to map out the rooms you want it to clean. Supposedly gone are the days when you had to put down that barrier strip to stop older vacuums like the RV750 from cleaning where you didn't want them. The RV2001 has do complete 2 passes to get up and running. The first pass maps out the rooms and a second pass is for mapping out carpets and no-mop-zones. You can use the app to manage the rooms and no-mop-zones. It will ignore the no-mop-zones if it's set up to vacuum, so don't freak out like I did when you see it vacuuming over rugs. When it came to the carpets, I edited the dimensions to be a bit larger than the rugs themselves to try and keep the vacuum from getting too close to them when it was in mop mode. To put the vacuum in mop mode, you simply disconnect the dust trip and connect the tank to have it mop - that's how the vacuum knows if it needs to be in mop mode or vacuum mode. Another thing I noticed about the RV2001 compared to the RV750 is that it is noticeably louder when it's running. That's because the beater bar isn't just soft bristles, but it also has some rubber rails to help it pick up debris better. It does clean better than the RV750, but it's louder too. We tried out the mopping function and it was a nice touch to be able to vacuum and mop the floor at the same time. Just be aware that like all robot vacuums, it'll be rocking and rolling along, so you need to ensure you stay out of the way while it's mopping. The app does allow you to designate high-traffic areas and you can prioritize those areas to clean when you have it running. Overall, I'm happy with it as a vacuum but the lack of constant wifi connectivity causes an issue because you can't control it from the app without resetting the vacuum every time. I generally like Shark products, and even though this cleans better than my RV750, I still kept the older one because while it didn't clean as well, it never dropped connectivity either.

Robot vacuums are a dime a dozen these days but what makes this Shark Vacmop stand out is the ability to mop! Once a 2 robot job, this shark is the complete package. Pros: • 2 robots in 1 • Self-cleaning brush roll (no hair wrapping around roller) • Straight carpet vac lines • Great customer service Cons: • A bit noisy but due to the unique roller design • Can’t have multiple scheduled starts a day • Mop mode takes a bit of planning (more on this below) • I did have to make a warranty claim (more on this below) I have a mixture of hard floors and carpet on my main level of the house. With 2 kids and 2 dogs, this robot has been a time saver! I have it set to run every day during the middle of the night. It’s nice to wake up to freshly clean floors and straight vacuum lines in the living room carpet. This vacuum does map out your floorplan so it will clean more thoroughly and in neat rows so if you like pleasing vacuum lines, this model is for you. It comes with everything you need. A few mop heads, sample size of cleaning solution and a few spare parts. Initial setup is easy. You will need to use a phone app to setup but once its setup and scheduled cleanings, you will rarely need to use the app again. The vacuum itself has voice prompts but they are quiet and you will miss it if you’re not nearby. It first maps out your cleaning area on the first run and maps out carpet and rugs on your 2nd run. Once it does map, you have the ability to review and make edits to the mapping. I took the time to label the rooms so you can use the app to clean particular rooms when needed. Just made a mess in the living room? Just initiate a clean for the living room. Easy peesy. Mopping is what makes this robot standout. Do note that you have to attach the mopping reservoir when you want your floors to be mopped. It doesn’t do both vacuum and mop at the same time. So, if you have a scheduled running, it will either vacuum or mop based on what attachments you have on it. If the robot has the mop attachment, it will only mop and visit hard floors. It will skip the rooms that has carpet. It will also skip areas with rugs that span the width of hallways too. I have a small rug that separates the kitchen from the mudroom and the robot will not skip over the rug to mop the mudroom so plan to move the rugs accordingly. My recommendation is to have the robot mop when you’re around to attend. The robot will stop in its track if the solution tank runs empty. It’s a small tank too so be prepared for a mid-run refill. Its nearly perfect and here is a list of why. The map editor in the app is sometimes hard to use and restricts to 4 sided rooms and carpets/objects. My office carpet isn’t square so the app will not allow me to map accordingly. It has been stuck a few times but you will learn where the common stuck areas are and adjust your furniture accordingly. Even though you can set scheduled runs, you can only schedule 1 per day and for entire house cleaning and not room specific. I wished you can schedule different rooms, different times of the day. I did have to send my original robot in for a warranty claim. Within 2 weeks, the robot died and wouldn’t respond to any button presses. My guess is that a baby sock got stuck in the roller and created a fatal static electricity shock that fried part of the circuit board. Shark’s support was super easy and friendly. They had a video conference option so they can easily see what the issues are and walk you through the solve. In my case, they couldn’t diagnose so they had me send in the unit and they sent me a new one. Great service but too bad it had to break to begin with. In summary, I do recommend this robot if you want both a vacuum and mop robot. The mop does agitate when its cleaning so I do feel like it’s doing an effective job in mopping. With this latest technology and suction power, I do feel like this can replace your traditional vacuum.
