My first robot vacuum was a very cheep brand to test functionality and once I saw what was capable I went looking for a model that had 1) self emptying 2) laser navigation. Shark appeared to be the most reliable and modest cost. I am so glad I made the purchase as it does everything it promises. Unlike my first vacuum, the shark rarely gets stuck. It makes a perfect mapping that allows me to clean by rooms that I set up. It also allows me to schedule when to run it automatically. The app is very easy to use. The only thing I have noticed is occasionally the app wigs out but a restart fixes it. The brush also does not get entangled with string like the first one did. The cleaning is also much better than the first one as we have two dogs that get hair on the floor and carpet. The vacuum gets the hair out of the carpet as well as can be expected. It’s a tight weave low pile carpet that traps the hair and even my upright animal vacuum has trouble getting all the hair out. This vacuum is a blessing as it keeps the fuzz balls and hair balls away and helps keep my home ac filters from getting dirty so fast. If you’re in the market for a great unit, this one fits the bill.

In a world where floors are under constant siege by dust, crumbs, and pet hair, there arises a hero—strong, relentless, and with the brains to match the brawn. Enter Beefcake, our Shark AI floor vacuum cleaner, and the undisputed champion of our household, proudly acquired from Best Buy.
Beefcake doesn’t just clean; it embarks on a strategic conquest of our floors, employing advanced AI that’s smarter than some of my college professors. It maps out our home with the precision of a topographical engineer, knowing every nook, cranny, and hiding place of dust bunnies who dare to linger. Watching Beefcake at work is like witnessing a gladiator in the Colosseum—determined, powerful, and always emerging victorious.
What truly sets Beefcake apart is its tenacity. It doesn’t just vacuum; it **vanquishes** dirt. And the suction power? Let’s just say it’s akin to the gravitational pull of a black hole—nothing escapes its grasp. It’s so thorough that I’m starting to wonder if it’s siphoning away crumbs I haven’t even dropped yet.
Yet, despite its Herculean strength, Beefcake is a gentle giant. It navigates around obstacles with the grace of a ballerina, dodging furniture and pets like a pro. It’s as if it’s read the entire canon of Newtonian physics and decided to apply it to the art of cleaning.
Naming this majestic machine Beefcake was no accident—its performance is nothing short of legendary. So, if you’re considering an upgrade in your cleaning arsenal, let me assure you that with Beefcake on your side, your floors will be spotless, your home harmonious, and your status as a household genius solidified. Thank you, Best Buy, for introducing us to the true heavyweight champion of the vacuum world!

This is the first smart vacuum I have owned and so far (3 weeks) very pleased with the results and ease of use I have experienced with it.
Opening the box and setup was very easy. The Shark AI comes packaged in layers and requires very little assembly (no tools requires). 2 front facing brushes that are mounted/snapped into place on the front/bottom of the robot and plugging in the power to the charging/base unit is all it takes. There is lots of protective plastic wrap to remove but worth it to prevent post manufacturing scratches.
The Shark App is fairly robust in the options available and relatively easy to use and setup. One of the most important items to consider is giving your new vacuum a proper name as you will be asked what you would like to name your new vacuum when setting up your account. Ours is now referred to as Eleanor and she has been a great addition to the family.
After setting up your specific criteria for your location and fully charged (takes a few hours) it is time for the initial run. We removed as many obstacles as possible around the house so as to reduce any kind of hangups, problems and to allow for a more thorough scan of the desired areas of the house. It took about 30 minutes for a quick walk through of the house as I would describe it. It was not a full cleaning on the first pass of the house as it was more of an exploratory pass to get a lay of the land. Once this was completed, you have an opportunity to view in the app what was found and fine tune the areas as well as separate, name, schedule and make off limit areas.
We have ours setup to clean M,W,F during the week. Originally we had it setup to start around noon but changed it to earlier because of the overall time it took to complete the job each day. She was still cleaning later in the afternoon when we started to arrive home. With the earlier scheduled time, now she has a chance to run through the entire areas before we return home for the day. Right now it takes about 5 hours to complete each days cleaning due to the total square footage requested, in between charging time which is about 2 hours, total times needed to return to the base unit to empty depending on how much dirty is collected each day, and variations to the areas cleaned. We typically empty the base station at the end of each scheduled cleaning day. So far it has not been completely filled. It is more of a way to verify how much is being picked up.
A quick side note: Eleanor has done some wondering off the beaten path (inadvertently found an extra room) due to a child gate that was not fully installed and Eleanor found her way into the room after knocking the gate over and getting stuck in the room but only after cleaning it. She had to be rescued and returned to the charging unit that afternoon. We now make sure the gate is installed fully on the days we don't want her to clean that room. Additionally, we have a dog that now has some entertainment during the day as Eleanor makes her cleaning passes through the house.
Overall: Great job of reducing the buildup of dog fur and kid dirt throughout the house. The noise level is significantly lower compared to a traditional vacuum while cleaning except for when it is emptying itself which would be more compatible to the levels of a traditional vacuum but only for about 10-20 seconds while emptying. Make sure to check the filters regularly and clean as needed.
As with any vacuuming job, there are going to be areas that are not going to be vacuumed unless you move obstacles out of the way. So, if you are looking to get the best cleaning coverage you will need to set chairs up, remove or pickup items from the floor that could get in the way just as you might when manually vacuuming.

If you're a dog owner like me, you understand the daily struggle of keeping your floors clean. With four furry friends roaming around, it often feels like a never-ending battle against fur, dirt, and crumbs. But let me tell you, the Shark - AI Ultra Robot Vacuum with Matrix Clean has been an absolute game-changer for me!
First off, let's talk about its suction power. This thing is a beast! It effortlessly picks up every last bit of fur, even in those hard-to-reach corners where my dogs love to hide. And speaking of corners, its sleek design allows it to navigate around furniture and tight spaces with ease, ensuring no spot goes untouched.
But what truly sets this robot vacuum apart is its ability to handle pet hair. With its specialized brushes and filters, it doesn't just pick up the hair, it traps it, leaving my floors looking and feeling fresh. Plus, the dustbin is large enough to handle multiple cleaning sessions without needing to be emptied constantly—a huge time saver for busy pet owners like myself.
And let's not forget about convenience. Thanks to its smart mapping technology, I can schedule cleanings from my phone, meaning I can have spotless floors without lifting a finger. It even automatically returns to its charging dock when it's done, ready for the next cleaning session.
In conclusion, if you're tired of constantly battling pet hair and dirt, do yourself a favor and invest in the
Shark - AI Ultra Robot Vacuum with Matrix Clean. It's a game-changer for dog owners everywhere!
(I also attached a picture of all the dog hair it accumulated in 2 weeks!

Great product. The mapping of the house is perfect, I can select separate rooms and/or small areas to clean at a time. App works perfectly to set it to clean from anywhere you are. The battery doesn’t last super long, but it goes to the dock when it’s low, charges and goes back to cleaning on its own. Would highly recommend. I do recommend measuring your furniture before buying if you want it to clean underneath it, though.

Hats off to Shark for updating the Shark Robot with Home Mapping and Self Empty Base. I had several Shark robots, but this one is absolutely amazing! I love how it immediately goes back to the base when it needs to unload and recharge! In fact, I was so impressed I purchased this Shark for my daughter, granddaughter and grandson! They are so excited with the updated technology. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to sit back and watch my floors get sparkling clean!

The vacuum emptying itself is gamechanger. We don't have to worry about it clogging itself up and breaking down all the time. Picks up tons of hair and the bin is easy to empty without making a mess.
It appears to do more a thorough job than both our previous irobot and eufy vacuums.

It says to empty the container every 60 days and clean the filter every 30. What it doesn't take into account is my having 4 dogs constantly shedding, digging, and bringing in dirt, so it really needs it every 7 in my house. It's very easy to set up, maps the house on its own. Keeps my house clean when I haven't been able to, and I set it to run a full sweep every day. Definitely would buy again

Background : Two little dogs and one toddler . Our floors were so bad by evening I had to vacuum every single day and after a while I just lost it and decided to find a helper . Researched robo vacuums and found this LiDAR based cleaner for a reasonable price after the discount and our previous manual Shark vacuum is still going strong. Checked reviews of Shark app in AppStore and had great reviews for iOS because that’s my gauge if manufacturer is following up and improving on their products and services . Took the plunge and never looking back . This little robo mapped all our rooms accurately in the first run edge to edge with no corrections required . Now all I have to do is take all toys and big stuff from the floor everyday and my Sharky does rest of the job . First two days it caught immense amount of dog hair more than what I imagined and now it slowly started reducing the amount of dirt being collected which is a very good sign. Its keeping the home clean everyday and keeping us out of the crazy allergies and sneezing we had when we wake up everyday . It’s a double win for us Only Con: the front panel is already scratched and they should use some other material other than glossy cheap plastic knowing it’s going to bump sometimes against some object

Easy to set up. Easy to schedule vacuuming routines. Does a good job. Makes me wish all my furniture was elevated, because I know at some point I’ll have to move the sofa, loveseat, coffee table etc to clean under them. It’s easy to empty, but I haven’t checked the air filters yet since it’s so new. Be aware that you need a good 6 feet of empty wall space at an outlet, as it needs 3 feet clearance on each side, and 5 feet clearance in front of it!

Our home is 3200 Sqft. One robot is plenty for our home. We set it to start cleaning in normal mode when we leave and the entire house is done by 3pm. Two automated settings that this unit has is 1) return to docking station to empty every 30min (if you have pets, use this setting) 2) it returns to the dock when the battery starts to get low, recharges, and finishes up cleaning the house. The only feature I feel it is missing is to know how long it needs to charge to finish the home. It recharges to 100% then finishes even if it only needed an additional 10%. Other than that, it is a great buy and i am very satified with the purchase.

Our home is big enough for 3 robot vacs and we have 4 fur babies (2 large and 2 small) and they can bring in dirt, grass and mud when it rains so it is imperative our floor is vacuumed every day. I have previously owned another high dollar brand for years and it worked fine so I thought. You would think for the price a vacuum would automatically go back to its self-emptying, but I was wrong. There were times when it wouldn’t empty or charge. I would get a notice that it wasn’t placed on the charger correctly even after I cleaned the bottom of the vacuum and the charging base. It took several minutes for me to get it to charge. Another issue I had was it would get lost, and I would have to crawl on the floor looking under furniture almost daily. Sometimes it would just stop for no reason and not continue to finish the cleaning cycle. This didn’t happen on one but all 3 of the robot vacs. So, after months of going through this I had enough of this and started researching for a new vacuum and brand. I did research for about a month including reading reviews and watching videos.
We decided on the Shark RV2502AE mainly because I liked the two side brushes. Other Shark Self-emptying vacs have only one side brush with air blowing on the other side. We made the purchase and set it up to charge all night. The next morning, I did the explore run and let it map our living room since it is kind of large and blocked off the dining room since I have the Shark VacMop to do that area. When that was done, I set no go zones and then vacuumed.
I have used robot vacs for years running them every day but when the Shark Vac finished, I had to look in the self-emptying bin. I was amazed how much it picked up on the max setting since I used the high dollar brand every day. I thought to myself “How could the Shark pick up that much out of the carpet since I vacuumed every day!” So, I turned around and purchased another Shark RV2502AE for the master bedroom, hallway and my office.
I like not buying vacuum bags and the filters are washable and easy to find replacements. To clean the vacuum, I have a small blower that can be used to blow the dust and dirt out of it. On the shark website you can purchase a washable pre-motor filter or use the replacements. I like the choices that this vacuum gives you.
Some people complain this vacuum is noisy but apparently, they have not heard the brands that I have during vacuuming or emptying. This is a very quiet vacuum even during it self-emptying stage. I can’t say enough about this brand. I own 2 self-emptying, 1 VacMop, 1 steam cleaner all Shark along with kitchen appliances.

We love it. This was a replacement for the original Shark robot vac we had for 4 years. This one does work better than the original but they both keep our original hardwood and porcelain and marble floors clean and shining. We have a Giant Schnauzer he doesn’t really shed but the vacuum picks whatever hair is on the floors from humans and our dog. It’s programmed to come out every morning at 10am whether we’re home or not and it cleans every room. It docks itself to empty and when all the floors have been done. No complaints here, we feel it’s worth the costs.

This thing runs circles around our bobsweep unit. It was very simple to setup and map our house. Even easier to create zones so it only runs in the room/s you want it to. Or you can have it sweep the whole house at once. It has great suction. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and this thing really pulls their hair out of the carpet. Bought it on sale. Great purchase.

I freely love my dog again now that David Wallace is on the scene! DW is the name of my fabulous new Shark robot vacuum. Getting the app and the vac to sync due to my backwater Internet was the hardest thing about setup, and even that didn't take too long. Since then, I open the app at work and send David Wallace on cleaning missions. I make sure the dog toys are put away on my way through the house when i leave for the day, so I run him through the living room first thing. I could never keep up with the dog hair problem until now! I love this. Matrix clean even allows me and my OCD to witness the cleaning, though i prefer not to. I'm so glad I opened that Best Buy email advertising a sale (on another brand's vac). I used the compare feature and am so very happy with this purchase. With such clean floors, I'm probably going to be doing a lot more yoga. Or eat the odd M&M that may fall to the floor. It's about the choices we make every day.
