Feel the Breeze... In Your Back Yard

You know those misters that restaurants have on their outdoor patios during the hot summer months? Well, if you've ever wanted something like that at home to keep your own patio cool, then look no further. The Shark FlexBreeze Pro isn't the first fan to include a misting feature, but it is incredibly intuitive, versatile, and stylish.
=== PROS ===
- The fan is very easy to assemble. I was worried at first that the inclusion of a water tank and hoses would cause some confusion, but that's not the case. Everything snaps into place very easily, just like any other pedestal fan you've assembled.
- This is a 2-in-1 fan that can instantly transform from a pedestal fan to a tabletop fan that you can carry practically anywhere. All you have to do is push a button on the side of pedestal to "click" the fan off the stand, and then place the fan head anywhere you want. The fan head has a small tripod that unfolds for easy placement on a flat surface. The fan can be used indoors or outdoors -- the water tank is easily removable when you want to bring the fan inside.
- The fan has a battery, so it can be used practically anywhere even if there's no power outlet. You can use the fan unplugged in both pedestal and tabletop mode. With the mist turned out, you can get up to 12 hours of battery life and the lowest fan speed. On higher speeds or with oscillation turned on, you'll only get an hour or two of battery life. Still, this offers an incredible amount of versatility, so you can bring the fan anywhere in your home (inside or outside) to stay cool.
- There are several fan speeds to choose from, ranging from 1 (low) to 5 (high), as well as BreezeBoost (maximum strength) and NaturalBreeze (simulates wind conditions by varying the fan speed). All of these modes can be activated using the included remote control or the buttons on top of the fan head. The fan is incredibly powerful -- I placed it at the far end of my patio, turned on BreezeBoost, and stood about 30 feet away. Even at this distance, I felt the strong breeze from the fan.
- Likewise, there are three missing modes: high pressure, low pressure, and low pressure interval. The standard high and low pressure modes put out a constant stream of mist, while the "interval" setting sprays mist every few seconds rather than a constant stream. It works incredibly well -- so well, in fact, that you'll want to stay at least a few feet from the fan so you won't get wet. For the maximum effect, you'll want to angle the fan upward, turn on oscillation, and place the fan at least 8 to 12 feet from where you'll be sitting/standing. I haven't been able to test this yet on a hot summer day, but I have no doubts that the mist will help to keep my back yard cool here in the hot desert.
- The back of the fan head has a magnetic remote control storage area, so you don't need to worry about losing the remote.
=== CONS ===
- Dealing with the water tank can sometimes be awkward. When it's time to refill the tank, you need to remember to disconnect the hose from the pedestal or fan head (otherwise, you'll risk the entire fan falling over). Likewise, the fan in pedestal mode is very heavy when you have a full water tank attached.
- If you want to move the fan inside after having used the mist, you'll want to wait a few minutes for the fan to dry. After you turn off the fan, some excess water seems to leak from the mist sprayers onto the ground.
- Between the multiple fan speeds and mist modes, it can be hard to tell or remember exactly which mode(s) you have selected. There are lights on top of the fan head to guide you, but different combinations of lights mean different things. For instance, when the first, third, and fifth lights are illuminated, that means that the "strong NaturalBreeze" mode is activated. When only the second and fourth lights are on, that's the "gentle NaturalBreeze" mode. This is all described in the user guide, but there's no way I'm going to remember all of that.
- In pedestal mode, the fan is relatively short at just 37 inches tall. Luckily, the fan head can be angled upward quite significantly, but I wish the pedestal itself could be adjusted upward for more height.
=== OVERALL ===
This is by far the most unique and versatile fan I've ever used. It's perfect for outdoor use, especially for those looking to enjoy their yards or patios on hot summer days. It might take some time to learn all of the different modes and features of this fan, and there are a few quirks to be aware of with the water tank. Still, this form factor and feature set seems unmatched by any other fan.

I am in love with my Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan. It’s exactly what I needed to staying cool during this summer.
After using the Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist for the past few weeks, I can confidently say this is one of the best pedestal fan, I’ve ever tried. This fan is equally effective both indoors or outdoors. I must say it’s a perfect choice for make the most use of the backyard during the summer.
One of my favorite things about this fan is the portable misting tank. I do not need a hose connection or a separate water bucket to get the mist and keeps the surroundings neat. The mist instantly cools the air and to make breeze cooler add some ice, it works amazingly well!
Portability can't get any better, based on my needs I can use it with cord or cordless. I keep it plugged in for continuous cooling or go cordless when I need to move it around the home where I need additional breeze during regular chores. One full charge lasts about 24 hours on low, which is great for long days outside or about 2 hours on max speed which is perfect for when I need instant cooling.
This fan speed is seriously strong. Even when I’m sitting several feet away, I can still feel the cool breeze.
Not to mention its various speed options five fan speeds, two breeze modes, and adjustable tilt and oscillation. Again, choose the right combination on a specific day to make the most use of this fan. I have even used it at night and it is so quiet that I didn't notice being on while asleep.
It looks sleek enough to fit inside my home and doesn't look out of place. When I don’t need the misting feature, I just remove the tank, and it works as a normal fan. Also, it easily transforms, in seconds, between the pedestal fan setup and the tabletop mode. No hassle or complicated setup just click and switch.

Living in Phoenix means finding ways to keep cool in the extreme heat. I’d been considering a mister to take to softball or volleyball events during the summer (and spring and fall too sometimes). There are two challenges, battery life and amount of water needed to keep cool for an hour or two. This Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist does well on both fronts.
First, the setup is very easy and pretty intuitive. I had it out of the box and setup in less than 5 minutes. The remote control was already paired with the unit so no additional steps needed, though they did provide pairing instructions. The unit also came charged to above 50%. I tested with it plugged in so it could charge to full.
The included water storage holds enough water to run for about an hour and fifteen minutes when I tested it. I couldn’t find the capacity of the tank, but it looks like roughly two gallons.
I tried it out during my softball game last night. Had it running on battery power in the dugout while it was 95 degrees at the start of the game. The team loved it and it dropped the temps in dugout significantly. It lasted through the first game of our doubleheader and then I filled up the water tank in the bathroom for game 2.
When it’s in mist mode, you definitely feel the water on you, but it evaporates pretty quickly. It is not like the commercial misters you see at restaurants where you never feel like you are getting wet. Those use high pressure jets and run into the thousands of dollars, while these use low pressure and cost a fraction of the price.
Overall, I love this product! It is easily transportable, runs on batteries, and cools the area around the fan significantly. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try to stay cool during the hot summer days.

Great Versatile Misting Fan!

Shark has released their new FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan, an upgrade from the previous model. The box includes the fan, base, pedestal, AC wall plug with proprietary tip, water reservoir tank, rubber hose connector, remote control with "coin" battery already installed, hose clip and quick user guide/paperwork. The fan comes with a manufacturer's 2-year limited warranty.
PROS:
-----------
* Solid build, well though-out design. Easy to put together with 1 single bolt using the provided allen wrench tool. Does not feel cheap. 4 legs provides better support than 3 legs when in "table" mode.
* The base is heavy enough to hold the pedestal in place easily.
* Versatility: 5 different fans speeds, 3 different angles of rotation, 2 different natural breeze modes, 3 different mist modes, plugged or on battery. Regardless of the configuration you want, they have created a fan that will solve most needs for a fan this size.
* Having the ability to take the mist with you is great. No hose needed; however, if a hose is needed, that is an accessory you can purchase.
* The magnetic remote can be attached to the rear of the unit OR anything metal (ie. the side of a refrigerator or metal shelf). The remote is connected via RF frequency and not infrared (line of sight). This means the fan doesn't have to see the remote in order for it to be used. The remote is light but doesn't feel cheap.
* The handle on top is great for carrying the fan when in table mode.
* The fan can be adjusted upward at an angle of ~50-55 degrees while it can also be angled down maybe around 5 degrees.
* The fan can oscillate at 180-degrees or 2 other smaller increments in between.
* On the remote is an "instant boost" which basically puts the fan in Speed 5 mode. If you want the fan to go back to the previous setting, just hit that button again. If in battery mode, it will revert to the previous speed after 20 minutes to save battery.
* The water canister top locks in place with a twist-on cap and rubber seal and has a foldable handle.
CONS:
-----------
* The buttons are very solid on the fan unit itself; however, I wish they were a bit easier to press so it doesn't put force on the 4 feet or change the angle I have it set to when in table mode.
* The LED indicator lights are semi-helpful; however, I wish there was a better option to indicate when a function is activated rather than only using 6 LEDs that blink or move differently depending on the action taken.
* Can be a little awkward in getting the AC plug into the bottom of the fan when in table mode due to the weight distribution. The design works fine in order to not pull the cord if in swivel mode though, and I believe that's why it was done like that in addition to being able to use that same port to connect to the pedestal.
* There is no app control or automation. Everything is done by the push of a button manually.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS:
-----------
* Optional accessories that you can purchase include: Fan cover, car charger, base cover, garden hose adapter, bucket adapter filter, travel tank, and a carry bag.
* The height is about to the bottom of a standard door knob (see picture)
* The instructions mention the battery is either a coin battery (CR2032?) or 2 AAA. Mine came with a coin battery though I don't know the size. The remote requires it to be opened with a Phillips head screwdriver to replace the coin battery. It doesn't just click in place.
* The box does not come with the full instruction manual, but it can be downloaded on the Shark website.
RUN TIMES:
Shark claims up to 24 hours on speed 1, no mist, on battery - I got around 26 hours (breeze is ultra low and barely noticeable)
Shark claims 6 hours on medium speed, no mist, on battery - I got 4 hours and 50 minutes
Shark claims 2 hours on high speed (5), no mist, on battery - I got 1 hour and 18 minutes
Shark claims 5-6 hours to fully charge from 0 to 100% - I was able to charge in 3 hours and 55 minutes
The SHARK owner's manual gives you multiple run times they claim for nearly every scenario of speed/oscillation/mist options.
As you can see, the run/charge times did vary somewhat from what they claimed in different areas.
CONCLUSION:
=====================
This is a very nice fan with a slew of options. It was easy to put together. It provides not just fan power, but mist at different levels if needed. Construction is solid and so is the magnetic remote. I wish there was an app that could be connected in the event the remote gets lost or damaged - the fan itself doesn't have all the controls that the remote has available on it. Once you figure out what the LED lights indicate on each of the functions, you should be ok though it's not too complex to figure out if you download the owner's manual. So far, I have enjoyed the fan. It will come in handy especially during summers at the baseball park where there are often times no AC power outlets and you need a good breeze while sitting in the sun. Great job by Shark to make the misting function portable on this new edition of the FlexBreeze fan. I definitely recommend.

Great way to keep you cool outside

This Shark Misting Fan is a powerhouse designed to keep you cool outside. It has a smart design that's versatile and best yet, it runs off a battery allowing you to take it anywhere. There are a few accessories that Shark sells that I wish it would have included but overall, it's a well thought out and does its job well.
Inside the box you get the fan head, a pedestal pole, a pedestal base, a charging cable, water tank, misting hose, and remote. Setup is relatively straightforward, and shark does a great job of providing contextual stickers on the device itself. For those like me, who tend to glance or discard the instruction manual. Point being it's all smartly designed and easy to put together.
As I said, there are a number of additional accessories that you can purchase from the shark website, some include garden hose adapters to keep the water filled for the misting, a car charger, and fan cover, but the thing that I wish that was included with this package was a carry bag. To me having a carry bag would make this truly portable. Just having something to carry everything in.
But back to setup. You pet the pedestal on the ground and then you put the pedestal pole into the base. There's one allen wrench and one screw that you have to use to attach the pole to the base, it takes little time and effort. The fan itself has a three-legged stand on it. It's kind of like a tripod where when you fold them all down it makes a slender pole that fits inside of the pedestal pole. Or if you want to set it on top of a table or if you don't have the pedestal with you, you can snap out the three legs and set it down. I found it to be very sturdy. Whether you're using the table, top legs or the pedestal itself. The water tank snaps in really easily and the misting hose is easy to set up as the ends of it can only be affixed at specific parts on the fan. In other words, you can't mess up installing the hose because it only goes in one way.
You are supposed to charge the fan fully before you use it, which took a few hours. There's a green light on top of the fan that shows the battery status and the fact that it's charging. Another minor quibble I have is that it uses a proprietary charging cable. I'm not smart enough to know why they could not or did not use a USBC cable, but that would have been preferable as I'm sure many of you have one laying around. Now you have to make sure that you have the specific charging cable whenever you need it.
There's a nice handle on the back of the fan that makes it easy to carry and I love how the plastic guards around the fan are very close together which prevents little ones from injuring their fingers.
The buttons are all easy to use and understand. On top of the fan there is a power button, a fan speed button, and an oscillating button which has four different settings, a tight 45° all the way up until 180°. The buttons all make sense and are easy to navigate. There's also a remote that's very small, but I appreciate that shark designed a magnetic attachment to the back of the fan, so the remote has its own dedicated spot. It allows you to control all functions of the fan remotely, you can even adjust the fans right to left) angle with the remote.
But all of this makes a little difference if the fan doesn't perform well, and I will say that it performs extremely well whether plugged in or on battery power. I could not tell a difference between the output when it was plugged in or running on battery. It's extremely quiet. One of the most quiet fans I've ever used. It sends out quite a bit of cool air at high velocity and will cool you off in no time. The misting portion is quite cool too. All you need do is fill up the water tank with some water. Make sure the hose is connected and hit the misting button and all of a sudden you get a nice water mist with your fan. This is really great for my family as we spend a lot of the summer sitting outside at swim meets at or soccer games. It's a great way to keep us cool and we look forward to using it more.
It's obviously portable, but as I said I'm reluctant to want to take the pedestal and pull and water tank with me when I travel. Not because it's heavy but because I have to carry all of the pieces separately. A travel bag would be a big boon for me. But nonetheless, just taking the top portion of the fan with its nice carry handle. It's easy to move around and place wherever you need it.
This fan is somewhat Overkill, as I'm sure you can get away with something smaller and less pricey, but I'm nonetheless a big fan of it. It. I think shark makes good products, easy to use products, and durable products. The flexibility of having a powerful fan that can run for several hours on battery power. It allows me to use the fan in various situations, not only keeping me cool outside, but also drying off wet shoes and the like.
It is pricey for a fan, but for all the features it has, it feels worth the cost.

THIS… Is the Shark/Ninja FlexBreeze Pro Mist, and in good Shark fashion, is FILLED with features and I am shocked that they didn’t call this a 12 in 1 fan, lol! From its long battery life to its multi-mode support to just how versatile it is, shark has really stacked the deck in its favor… so let's crack this box open and take a look at it!
Taking the FlexBreeze out of the box, I was initially a little apprehensive due to all the parts involved, but once I got it all out on my floor and got moving, it was really easy to assemble. Something that I noticed as I was assembling this fan was not only how versatile it was, but also how easy it was to do what you wanted. Want the misters on? Fill the tank and plug the line in! Want the FlexBreeze tabletop? It is one button press to release it from its pedestal stand. You can even have it tabletop and misting which was cool to see. This is one of those products where the people making it, are also the people using it.
I wanted to touch on the modes real quick, while the lowest setting does get you 24 hours of battery life… I don’t think many people will be using this as it doesn’t really move too much air. I think speed 3 is realistic and I think 6 hours is a fantastic battery life for the amount of air that it puts off as well. My favorite mode is by far the ‘natural’ mode which mimics a natural breeze, paired with the fan oscillation (which is also adjustable), felt fantastic while I was cleaning the house!
All in all, Shark killed it again with this fan and it was to no surprise as they have been on a roll here lately with new fun products, so it was cool to add this to the list. I love that Shark stands behind their product as well with a two year warranty so you don’t have to worry about it pooping out on you. That being said, Best Buy has an excellent return policy and even better customer service, so you never have to worry about buying a fan that you don’t like or that doesn’t blow the right way! So there is no harm in testing it out to see if the FlexBreeze Pro is right for your setup. Until next time :)

I Love This Fan

It’s been my nighttime comfort. My gym companion. My work buddy. And when the summer hits, it’ll be my barbeque sidekick. The Shark FlexBreeze Pro is something else, and it has given me a reason to be excited about fans again.
The last time I was excited about fans was the introduction of the bladeless fan design made by another manufacturer. No, this isn’t a bladeless fan; it is way more than just that. Its implementation of simple creature comforts is what makes this fan so, so good. First off, it is an oscillating fan with 5 speeds but with oscillation angles as high as 180 degrees. Yes, that’s a half circle worth of air, end to end. Of course, you can set the oscillation angles at 45 and 90, which round out its 3 oscillation settings. The fan itself is super quiet; even at full steam, it’s remarkably quiet. At its lowest speed, it’s still effective enough to help catch my beauty sleep. There’s even a Natural Breeze mode that mimics the outdoor breeze in both strong and gentle settings. Finally, tilting the fan doesn’t require you to loosen/tighten anything. Simply pull it up or push it down with 55 degrees of vertical freedom. This fan is something else…and we haven’t gotten to the good stuff yet.
Installation and assembly is very simple, with most parts snap-on, with the exception of a single allenhead screw to secure the post to its sturdy base. The unit is made primarily of plastic. My unit is the black with gold accents, giving it that premium look. I certainly wouldn’t mind having this fan out in my living space. It looks very modern and can accent any living space, in my opinion.
Controlling the fan can all be done on the fan itself as it has 4 main buttons on top: Power, Fan Speed, Oscillation Mode and Misting Mode. Across the top rim of the fan are 5 LEDs that tell you each setting when changed. Changing the patterns of the green LEDs is a clever way to present us with what setting is currently in-use. Fan out of reach? The FlexBreeze Pro can be commanded with a remote control. The remote magnetically attaches to the fan when not in use.
Now for the good stuff: This fan comes with a built-in lithium ion battery, making this fan truly portable. Moreover, you can remove the main fan unit from its post and make it a tabletop fan, equipped with built-in legs. Now, battery life can vary in so many ways. If the fan is left non-oscillating on low fan setting, you can achieve up to 24 hours of run time. I’ve let this fan run through the night like this and forget to turn it off the next morning; when I got back from work that afternoon, it was still running. If you start adding oscillation, the battery runtime will diminish. Adding misting? More battery will be required. Shark presents a very good table of settings vs battery runtime so you get a sense of what to expect if you’re out and about with the FlexBreeze Pro. Finally, this fan comes with a misting function that can be used plugged in or on battery, with or without the main stand. Its 3 misting settings are full pressure, low pressure, and low pressure intervals (on/off).
Its performance is equally good. Relative to a typical stand fan, its smaller sized blades carry air and wind almost everywhere it’s pointed. Shark claims 70 feet at full speed. I love pointing the fan up and allowing the air to bounce off the walls to feel like air is moving everywhere. When I’m winding down for bed, its lowest setting still provides enough air, which I love because some other fans just feel like they are off. Each fan speed means something on the FlexBreeze Pro.
Maintenance on the fan blades can be done by simply removing a set screw at the fan’s 6 o'clock position. You’ll be able to remove the fan’s main screen and remove the fan blades for cleaning.
Complaints? Honestly, I can think of any because of how cool this fan is. I’m very impressed with Shark and their implementation of a fan that is both sleek, practical and flexible. It’s price point? Considering all that this fan offers in this configuration, I can see this investment being worthwhile, especially when those summer days and nights arrive. It can supplement your AC usage, helping reduce electricity costs and ultimately your electric bill.

Small powerful corded/cordless fan

We have clearly a winning device here (if there was ever a competition). The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan is a compact, powerful and versatile fan. I can use it indoors and outdoors, move it around without needing to plug it in as the battery lasts a very decent amount of time. The fan can be detached from its base for tabletop use, adding to its versatility. If it is very hot outside, you can use the Mist mode to cool off, the fan will cover a big enough area to include others in the fun.
Three things stood up the first time I used this device. My first impression was how quiet it was, even at high speeds it was much quieter compared to other devices I own. Next, I was surprised at how powerful it was at the highest speed, despite having a smaller footprint than other pedestal devices I own. The last thing was how easy it was to convert it from a pedestal to a countertop fane.
- Pros: very quiet, mist mode, corded/cordless operation, solid construction, oscillating.
- Cons: slow charging times, a little heavy.
>> Setup
It is very easy to assemble, no surprises, most things are attached with a “click”. The only problematic part would be to secure the bottom rod of the pedestal to its base, which requires to be cautious to firmly adjust the screw from the base into the pedestal rod using the tool provided in the box.
It is recommended to fully charge the device before first use. I’d say before using it in cordless (battery operated) mode for the first time, since you can have the fan running while charging it.
The different parts of the Shark FlexBreeze are very easy to attach/detach (except for the base, which requires a screw and a tool). If you don’t need the Mist mode, while inside the house, for example, you can easily disconnect the water line and detach the water tank off the stand. You can almost effortlessly detach the fan from its base to use it as a tabletop fan which, believe it or not, I am a very lazy person for these kind of minute tasks that I would have avoided if it was not easy. Perhaps my favorite detachable component is the remote control, I love that there is a magnetic surface in the back of the fan where to keep the remote safe and secure, minimizing the risk of losing it. I’ve lost a remote for one of my formerly most widely used fans (this one is becoming my most used now) and it’s been a challenge to find a replacement for it.
>> Pedestal and Tabletop modes
The fact that you can convert the device from a Pedestal fan to a Tabletop fan is another selling point for this device, and another recommendation point from me to family, friends and acquaintances.
One could argue that the device has only two heights, with the pedestal and without the pedestal. However, I found that with the Tabletop “mode” you can place the fan almost at any height (of course this is something obvious, but I just wanted to call it out).
I have even used the fan to help dry an area of the carpet that we had to clean because of spilled coffee. It saved me time to go to the garage and get the drying floor fan. I think the Shark FlexBreeze did a very decent job, as the area was completely dry the next day.
>> Corded and cordless operation
The Shark FlexBreeze can be operated like any other fan, find an outlet, and connect to it, then use the remote or buttons to control the speeds/modes. But, another major selling point is that it can be used without an outlet.
This is the first *big* fan that I own that has a battery. I wasn’t expecting the battery to last as long as it does, and this alone makes purchasing this device justified. It’s been a game changer for me, as I’ve been using it around the house, in the kitchen, leaving room and office, without requiring finding a place to plug it in.
It lasts for more than 6 hours at 3/5 speed, which is quite impressive. At lower speeds it runs much longer, this is very convenient as well if you need to save some energy for prolonged cordless use.
The only downside is how long it takes to charge the battery. It is about 4 hours or so to go from zero to a complete charge (up to when the green light stops flashing).
This cordless/corded capability allows for home use, camping use, park, beach, sports, etc. Provided that of course, you don’t go beyond 6 hours (if using it at 3/5 speeds) without access to an electrical outlet.
>> Mist
I didn’t use the Mist capability extensively, as it is a little cool outdoors to entertain getting “cooled” even more, but I did a quick test on the mist generation.
At the highest speed the mist easily reaches about 4 meters long, 2 meters wide and 2 meters high at the end of the mist stream.
You can leave the water tank in the device; however, if you move it around the house, like I’ve been doing, perhaps it is better to just disconnect the water line and store the water tank away.
Based on my first use, I look forward to using the Mist mode late Spring and, of course, during the Summer.

As a child of the 80’s I remember a TV ad for a long hose with holes poked in it that would spit mist up onto your lounger as you baked in the sun shine. As an adult in the Carolinas I cannot count the number of times I have thought about ruining a garden hose to achieve some type of cool mist action out on the patio in the heat of summer. As of a couple years ago we have a big box fan on a long extension cord that we lug out to make the outside living space bearable.
Not any more! This fan is a true solution to the heat outside. I’m not sure why it has taken so long for someone to perfect the concept, but a big thank you to Shark for doing so with the Flex Breeze. This is the second version and it’s got most of the kinks worked out. Oscillating cool mist that is completely customizable from a remote control that magnetically attaches to the fan itself when not in use.
We had a pop of unseasonable hot weather in April and I was able to really put this unit through its paces. Unboxing and and assembly is totally common sense. My first unit was actually damaged and I had a delightful (no seriously) experience with Shark/Ninja customer service. Buy with confidence, that was refreshing! Anyway, when my working unit arrived less than a week later, all the settings worked just as described. My favorite is the natural breeze mode, which randomizes fan speed and timing to replicate a natural breeze. I literally fell asleep on the sofa testing that. Then we took it outside, filled the water tank, and thoroughly enjoyed adjusting angles, speeds, mist with the remote. We have found setting the fan up as a tabletop model with the tank beside it works great from our fire pit surface. If you’re desperately hot there’s a turbo type mode that will pin your ears back!
We are likely going to purchase an additional Flex Breeze to keep in the bedroom so we can have one charged and ready at all times. Charge lasts longer than the listed six hours unless you’re on high the whole time, and the water tank lasts about two hours of constant mist.
HIGHLY recommend!

Living in the valley we get tons of sunshine and with the sun comes outdoor activities from barbecuing to days at the lake and many park visit. While all of these are great there are days when it’s just a bit too warm. This is why when I saw the Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist it was something I had to have.
Pros: Cons: None
• Multi-use
• Can run for over 12 hours on battery.
• Wisper quiet at medium to low settings
• Remote control included.
• Well built.
• Mister is wonderful for outdoor events.
• Long Battery life
The setup is, for the lack of a better word, a breeze. The fan clips easily into the stand which you tighten to the base and Shark includes all tools needed. The outdoor mist function tank clips on easily along with the nozzle that screw on with a simple turn. The included remote also includes a battery and is paired out of the box. Added bonus, the back of the fan is magnetized so the included remote does not get lost.
The FlexBreeze Pro is well built and everything Shark did has a function behind it. For instance, where the buttons are the breeze has a gold tint, this makes the button portion pop out so you know where the controls are. The buttons are rubberized and have a slight inwards dip which contours to your fingers, this makes it much easier to push. When tilting the FlexBreeze head there is no clicking instead it moves smoothly with a hydraulic motion so you can place it at any angle.
The FlexBreeze has multi uses, use it as a normal standing fan or with a click of a button turned into a tabletop fan. You can use it as a normal fan plugged into the wall, I was easily able to keep my 200+ square foot room cool at night. I also used it as a tabletop fan while working from home and no one could tell it was on during meetings.
The FlexBreeze has a internal battery if you want to use it outside, I noticed no power lose when using it on battery. The battery life on the FlexBreeze pro is extraordinary, I used it on medium power and it run a little over 12 hours before it shut off. This is great incase of a power outage.
Having the FlexBreeze for our outdoor party was perfect, we placed it by the bar area and the mister did a wonderful job. With the fan and mister turned up to the max I could feel the mist at least 12 feet away. I will have to warn you that at the highest mist setting you will be soaked if you are standing 3 feet or closer, also be advised that all the kids will run to the mister once they see what it does.
If you’re in the market for a standing fan than the FlexBreeze pro is the only one to consider. It is the Swiss army knife of fans because it can be used in every scenario. The built is excellent and it not only does it look great, but everything is functional.

The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist is one of the best fans I’ve ever used. There are so many features that make this fan amazing, so without further ado let me jump right in…
When I first opened the box, I’ll admit I was a little intimidated but once I started to put it together, I realized how simple it is. The fan essentially has 4 major parts: the main fan, the base/stand, the water tank and the mister. The fan can be used with or without the mister system. It can used both indoor and outdoor, and what’s nice is you can leave the hose connected to the base station and use the included cord holder to wrap the hose around it when not using it. The fan also comes with a remote that magnetically attaches to the back of the main fan unit .
The FlexBreeze can be used in many different modes: first you have the fan connected to the base as standard rotating fan, you can attach the hose and fill up the included tank and use it as a mist system, or you can detach the fan and use it as a tabletop fan, as the pole turns into a tripod when in portable mode. There is a solid handle built on the top of the fan, which makes it easy to carry around. Another great feature is, the fan has a built-in rechargeable battery which allows you to use it wirelessly in any mode. You can also use it while it’s in charge mode, in case you want to keep it plugged in.
As for the fan itself, it has many different modes and speeds you can select. This is also the quietest fan I’ve ever used. Even on max settings, the fan is incredibly quiet making it the perfect option for when I’m trying to watch a movie. The fan is very powerful and can be set on different breeze modes, there is also a turbo mode that will give the fan a boost when you need it. When the fan is in mist mode, you can control the amount of mist that gets sprayed, with three different mist settings. The mist system works great, and is the perfect option when sitting outside, I used mine in the garage when I did some spring cleaning. The large water tank is easily fillable and has a nice collapsible handle for easily filling, it lasts a good amount of time on a single tank too.
Overall, I love the Shark FlexBreeze pro mist fan, this is hands down the best fan I have ever used. There are so many features that make this fan amazing. The portability alone is great, but it also has a mist system, tabletop mode, included remote, powerful yet quiet, and it can all be done wirelessly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new fan and/ portable mist system.

Shark Flexbreeze Promist – I’m a Huge Fan!

A couple of years ago, I saw a misting system you could hook up to a regular fan and bought it…It was messy and clunky and had to have a hose always attached…It went to the wayside. It was a great idea, and the mist was ok, but it just wasn’t practical/functional for my needs.
Then I saw the Shark Flexbreeze Promist. Shark vacuums are pretty amazing…but a fan. I was intrigued.
Got it out of the box and as always with shark, the build quality was solid. The base was very solid with some weight. Enough to keep it standing sturdy but not too heavy. The instructions for the setup were as clear and simple as I have ever seen on a product. I don’t like reading instructions, and with all the guided stickers on the pieces and the QR code that took me to a quick and very helpful video…Took the guesswork and frustration out of it. The only little confusing part was pairing the remote control. NOTE: Make sure the fan is on before you pull the battery tab on the remote, and it will sync right up. Very simple. I was over thinking it.
After clicking everything into place and fully assembling it, I gave it a once-over. Again, the design is really perfect. The head of the fan can come off and can be a small stand-alone fan. The misting system is built seamlessly into the unit. It’s not too large and bulky but has the size and ability to put out some air and mist. The remote is straightforward and easy to use, and I really love that it is magnetized and will stick on the back of the unit nicely. Its also very quiet!
I also love the water reservoir…no hose needed ( you can buy an adapter for one though) and no power cable needed! It truly is a self-sufficient cooling station. I would suggest using distilled water if you have hard water. Misting systems can get clogged pretty easily with hard water. The mist has multiple levels to cool you just right. It also has a turbo fan speed if you just finished exercising or mowing and need to cool off quickly.
I also like that Shark sells a carrying bag and a fan cover, and a car charger if you really want it to be mobile.
Overall, I could not be happier with this fan. For people who love to be outdoors and like to be comfortable, this is a must-have item! Camping, little league games, pool side, back deck or in a hot garage…The Shark Flexbreeze promist is really the perfect fan. The versatility is next-level!

Super Portable Fan With Convenient Features

Let me first off start by saying I did not know there were cordless fans not made for industrial use, let alone cordless misting fans. I’ve seen the battery powered, specifically for work, fans but have not seen many before the Share FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan. While it can seem a little gimmicky, it does come in handy especially when using it outdoors.
The FlexBreeze Pro comes with everything you need to start using it out of the box. The assembly is very simple and you pretty much only need to charge it to begin using it. The fan itself is smaller than your typical box fan but larger than the tiny desk fans you typically see at dollar stores. Having the ability to be able to use it as an ultra portable fan without its stand, it can be set on a table top.
My first test case was using it as a breeze fan when cooking out on a weekend. The first thing I noticed was that the low fan speed setting was pretty low and at least for me, the highest speed setting felt underwhelming. I expected a little more power and “oomph.” I adjusted the airflow settings and began to feel the air differently with the “NaturalBreeze” mode on. This is one of the nifty features this fan includes; 3 different airflow settings that can direct how the air is to flow out of the fan to better target or aim the air. These settings are normal (as a standard fan pushes air) and 2 “NaturalBreeze” modes (pushing air more towards the center of the fan and the other directionally). Another thoughtful feature from Shark was the ability for the fan to oscillate at a 180 degree angle. Don't like where the air is hitting you and you don't want to get up move the fan? Using the remote, you can rotate the fan with a click of a button to the position you'd like (up to 90 degrees from the center point or 180 total). You can even choose for it to automatically oscillate within the current angle to about 30 degrees, oscillate at a greater angle, about 120 degrees, or the full 180 degrees. Small details like that I personally thought added more value to this smaller fan. An additional detail is that the fan has a magnetic holder in the back for the remote (thanks, Shark!)
The two other things I personally liked about this fan were the battery life and mist feature. When using the fan on the highest level, it lasted me a little less than 2 hours. For my weekend cookout I enjoyed using it outdoors and it outlasted my BBQ session of about 4 hours with a mix of high and medium speeds. As far as the misting feature, my kids loved to use it more than what I was expecting. I don't consider the mist to be a light mist by any means, and you can definitely become drenched in water fairly quickly depending on the fan speed. It is something I don't see myself personally using often but it is definitely a nice feature to have for those super hot days and when you'd like to play with the kids. The amount of water the tank can hold can last about an hour and the tank can either sit atop the fan base or can be portably used with the fan on a tabletop.
My biggest gripe with this portable fan was that at first glance the highest speed setting wouldn't replace the amount of air a similar corded box fan could push. As mentioned before when I personally used it outdoors, I felt that the speed could've replaced the size aspect by being more powerful. I do understand that this would reduce the battery life, but I think that still could've been left as an option. Another thing I would've liked to see was for the fan stand to be height adjustable to be able to adjust it to a taller height.
Overall, it was the small details I think that set Shark’s fan apart. From the fan modes and misting, to the battery life and portability, it has good qualities even when comparing it to standard corded fans. I would recommend this for anyone looking specifically at cordless fans and are looking for special features like misting.

Let’s just say if you’ve ever enjoyed the misting devices at amusement parks, this thing is going to blow your mind. Assembly is super easy and side benefit, you learn how to use it without the stand immediately due to the assembly process. Love that you can use it as a tabletop type delivery and can still use the water tank albeit it’s not as cleanly operated since you have to deal with the water line and unattached tank. Put it together with the stand though and it’s an elegant combo that we tested several times on a warmer day and found it super enjoyable. At low speed, it was enough that someone sitting next to it could readily enjoy and cool down and then at high speed everyone at the table experienced the effects. I didn’t run it long enough to see the type of condensation you’d experience over time but since you’d probably be using this on super hot days, I’m guessing personal perspiration is going to contribute just as much to your level of being wet as the fan will. Super great product for a backyard patio with the outdoor furniture!

No pun intended but I'm literally blown away with this fan. Shark always has some new cool innovative product out there. This fan is awesome. The cordless rechargeable battery feature is my favorite. I can take it out by the pool and move it to any lounging location without worrying about dangling a cord around. My second favorite feature is that it's "convertible", you can take it off the stand, pull out the tripod legs and set it on a table! You can also toat the water tank with and still have the mist feature! I put ice in the tank, game changer. When I first powered it up it was on speed 1 and I couldn't even hear it running, it's so quiet. Even at full blast it isnt super obnoxious. It comes with a compact remote control that has a magnet to nestle into the back of the fan. You can remove the tank and use the fan with out the mist function indoors, or leave the tank on and just don't turn on the mist function. All in all, it's a sweet fan, has plenty of uses and will be great for the florida summers. 10 out of 10.

The Shark FlexBreeze is an awesome option for those who love to go outdoors in the heat. It brings the misters and I find it easy to set up and refill the water tank, which makes it bette rthan having to connect misters to a garden hose and now you can't use the hose for other things while also receiving the mist cooling effect. The fact that it is portable, meaning you can take the head off of its provided pole mount, is a major plus if you're relaxing by the beach or catching a break after running some basketball courts a few times. I find the quality of this product to be made of solid construction, the remote was well thought out being magnetic and sticking to the back of the fan head, that way it never gets lost, and I don't see any parts that would break down easily. The handle is easy to use and great for the portable carry version of the Shark FlexBreeze. Overall, I find that the item was packaged well, the value for money soent is well worth it, especially considering how long I think the product can last given its build quality and materials that were used. Overall, best buy made it easy to purchase and I have their card so that gave me 12 months interest free financing, which is always a plus! I love the product, among other fans I think this one takes the trophy.

Works as advertised! I picked up the Shark FlexBreeze Fan to help beat the heat during long days at the ballfield, and let me tell you—it’s a game changer. Whether it’s for soccer, softball, or baseball, this fan has made me the sports team’s best friend on the sidelines.
The battery life is impressive, the breeze is powerful, and the flexibility in how you can set it up (floor, tabletop, or clipped) makes it super versatile. It’s quiet enough not to be distracting but strong enough to actually make a difference. On scorching days, the misting option is a total bonus. Parents, coaches, and even players are constantly asking where I got it.
If you’re regularly at outdoor games or tournaments, this is one of those things you didn’t know you needed until you had it. Highly recommend!

Wow oh wow! This is one heck of a mister fan! I love how you don't have to keep it plugged in as well! Used it for the first time when my sister and her family came over and completely (accidentally) soaked my sisters mother in law. Lol. Granted, she could've gotten up and moved OR turned the mister away from her, but I digress. At the end of the night we ended up bringing it in our room to keep cool while we slept since we didnt have a standing fan yet. No, we did not use the mister inside. I highly recommend the mister for outside use only.

So, we purchase this fan to use outdoors on 4th of July....I was kinda excited. My husband turns it on inside and I refuse to let him move it!! We have fights over this fan....everyone wants it facing them....yes it oscillates...doesn't matter ..... it is the best fan EVER!!! We will be buying another one for outside....this one is mine!!!! I wouldn't buy this fan if you don't want to get addicted. We have central air, ceiling fans, and in wall air conditioners...this is the best one out of all!!!
