The shark did not work like all of the videos and like I anticipated. I was so excited to get the shark and it truly disappointed me. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I could have been doing something wrong, sure! BUT with the amount of money we pay for this item, then it should either WORK or the instructions should be worth over $300. I tried doing my hair 5 times, and it never actually held. I tried my cousins African American hair and it did great, but then poofed back up by morning! Just buy a revlon. Please don’t waste your money.

I’ve had two of these now and it does a good job styling but the product is so cheap. I had my previous one for a year and got fed up with the parts coming loose so I used my heel squad warranty and swapped it out. After one use the new one had a part come loose again. This causes the product to rattle back and forth while you’re using it. Planning on returning this week. Honestly, just invest in the Dyson if you’re going to spend the money or know that you’re getting a cheap product

For people who don’t want to read the whole review I will sum this up in one sentence. My wife absolutely loved it. One thing my wife hates after taking a shower is drying her hair because it takes forever, plus her long and thick don’t help either. She usually spends around 30 to 45 minutes drying her hair and then do whatever else she has to, and on top of that bring out all of her other gear to curl or to straighten, but not anymore. The Ninja FlexStyle has changed her life. In the box you will find the Shark FlexStyle, (2) 1.25” Auto-wrap curlers, Oval Brush, Paddle Brush and a Styling Concentrator. The Ninja FlexStyle is lightweight solution, weighing about 25 oz., for Air styling, Curling and Drying. Looking at its size, it does not look like much, but it will leave you pleasantly surprised. With just a simple twist of the top this wand turns into a powerful hair dryer that dries your hair in no time (Down to 10 to 15 minutes for my wife) heats up fast and no hair damage. Simply twist it back into a wand and use the provided accessories to curl your hair or add some volume with the paddle or the oval brushes. The FlexStyle has Three heat options, Cool air button, and 3 speeds that can all be adjusted based on your preference. The Styler is easy to operate and comes with a really long cord for added flexibility. The FlexStyle has replaced about 4 of my wife’s current hair accessories. Overall, this is a quality product that costs half the price of the other brand and works just as well if not better. The StyleFlex gets the job done in half the time and at half the price. If you want to save money and buy a good quality product, then I would definitely suggest that you check try this out.

There are different kinds of hair and products for styling each of them, the cost to have a product for each type of hair style would be very expensive, however this hair dryer, which is priced quite competitively and I could even say below the competition, allows you to get virtually any type of style that is to your liking and according to the type of hair you have. The first thing you ask is if this product is worth the price and knowing that there are other options out there with similar features, the honest answer I can give is, it is definitely worth every penny, it is a hair dryer that offers much more than just drying your hair, which by the way compared to an ordinary dryer is much more effective. The design besides being very aesthetic and elegant, is made in a way that is very simple and easy to use, a function that I really like is that you press a button to rotate the top of the dryer to have a better angle and grip when drying, I was fascinated. The motor blows out enough air in three levels to dry your hair in a short time. In terms of heat it also has three levels but with the first two you can style your hair very well because it generates enough heat and this added to the fact that it blows out the air strongly, makes it unnecessary to use the maximum heat level. Before styling the hair it is recommended to use some product to protect the hair from the heat, this varies from person to person, however we must not forget that we are exposing our hair to heat. The performance is great, each of the ways the aceseories can be use, I get a excellent result, it takes time but it is worh it. It is possible to straighten the hair and curl it if desired, give volume or if you have curly hair you can also get many styles. There are video guides on the Shark Beauty Youtube channel that shows you how to use the accessories in the best way and get the best out of them, I find them very useful. It is a product that, when you consider the price on the market for similar products that have an outstanding performance, exceeds expectations by far. Each of the accesories fit together without a problem, it is easy to use, it is comfortable and one thing that I like is that it has a button that when you hold it down when using hot air, it blows out cold air which is very helpful in some cases. The hair dryer is kind of loud similar to most common hair dryers. In summary, I can say that there are a countless number of hairstyles that can be achieved with this hair dryer, similar results to those of a beauty salon. It has a very elegant design, includes accessories quite useful and the best thing is not expensive, if you do not want to spend on high end brand products, this Shark FlexStyle is a great option, highly recommended.

Effective Hair Styling, Without the Heat Damage

----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: The Shark FlexStyle is an excellent all-in-one styler that doesn’t cause heat damage. The included attachments, 4 heat, and 3 airflow modes, along with the ability to flip from drying to styling make the FlexStyle very versatile. It delivers impressive results and will save you time. My wife recommends it to anyone looking to up their hair styling game. Pros: - Can be a hair styling wand or dryer - Avoids causing heat damage by regulating temperatures - Multiple attachments included for various hairstyles - Lightweight and easy to use Cons: - Doesn’t come with a case/bag ----- DETAILS ----- Design & Use: What’s unique about the Shark FlexStyle is that it transforms from a hair styling wand into a hair dryer. There’s a switch that you press which allows you to easily rotate the straight wand into an L-shaped blow dryer. In either shape, you can use one of the attachments to accomplish the look you’re going for. The box includes two 1.25” curlers (one that curls left and another right), an oval brush, and a paddle brush. They just snap into place and they’re locked in so that they don’t fall off. There’s another switch on the back to release the attachment lock. The third switch is located at the bottom and it turns the power on/off. There are also three buttons, one that controls airflow, another for temperature control, and a third that provides cool air. Having three switches and three buttons is much more than my wife is used to on a hair styling device but she thought they were intuitive. She skipped over the instructions because she was excited to try the Shark FlexStyle out and didn’t need to reference them, but they’re included and thorough. A style guide is also included in the box which my wife appreciated because it gives you tips to achieve the look you’re going for, including the recommended heat and air settings. The one gripe my wife and I have is that the FlexStyle doesn’t include a case/bag for easier storage in our bathroom, or for traveling. That’s a minor inconvenience though for an otherwise exceptional product. Overall, we’re surprised by how compact and lightweight the design is, especially for such a versatile device. We think Shark did an excellent job by balancing versatility with ease of use and portability. Features & Performance: Dry hair, split ends, and breakage caused by heat damage are a thing of the past, thanks to the Shark FlexStyle. After my wife tested it out, she’s a believer in Shark’s claim that the FlexStyle measures and regulates temperatures 1,000 times per second to ensure consistent heating. Many other similar hair styling devices heat up as you use them, but she hasn’t noticed that with the FlexStyle. There are 4 heat and 3 airflow settings that allow you to customize your styling. Couple that with all of the available attachments and the impressive results, and you can make it look like you just came from the salon. My wife said she has never really been able to curl her hair well with a normal curling iron, but the FlexStyle with its auto-wrap curler attachments works great. If you’re like my wife and haven’t used an air styling and drying device like this before, it might take some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be styling your hair better and in less time. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x Shark FlexStyle Air Drying & Styling System 2 x 1.25” Auto-Wrap Curlers 1 x Oval Brush 1 x Paddle Brush 1 x Styling Concentrator 1 x Styling Guide 1 x Safety/Warranty/Troubleshooting Instructions

Amazing for Some, A no for me

The shark flex style. Wow. Such a cool little machine. I was really excited to try this and even tho I ultimately ended up having to return it, I am glad I had the chance to use this because I was really torn between this and the Dyson because of the major price difference. PROS: 1 - I mean right off the bat just the look of it. The flex style comes in such sleek little styles like all the limited editions like the Malibu pink and the new sparkly one coming out in June, just amazing. 2 - this is a powerful little machine!! I turned it to the L shape and used it as a blow dryer and WOW so fast and powerful I was truly blown away. 3 - if you can live with the cons that I list below, this is definitely a fantastic alternative to the Dyson. 4 - my curls last 3 days and I SLEPT on them. Now granted I do have naturally curly hair so all my flat haired gurlies don’t get mad at me if it doesn’t work like that for you but yeah, my curls LASTED. 5 - my blowout was SLEEK and shiny. Like looked wayyyy better than the revlon one step, I could not believe the shine. 6 - my hair felt SO. Soft. Like I could not stop touching it. So healthy. Never felt that using the revlon one step… — CONS: Now for the sad part and the reason I had to return mine: 1 - The L design is flawed to me because in the straight position it SHAKES. Like literally the top constantly wobbles back and forth like a bobble head. It’s very slight. But in my head I am thinking - man I spent $300 on this, how is this gonna last me 3 years when this thing is like constantly wobbling back and forth? Idk. To me it just felt like that joint where it bends is a break waiting to happen. 2 - The NOISE. My goodness. This thing is jarringly loud. I have some hearing loss in my left ear and I needed to put in ear plugs to use this because it was creating a horrible ringing sound in my ears and I got a headache that wouldn’t go away for like 24 hours. So ultimately those TWO things made this a no for me. And there’s minor differences between the shark and the Dyson that made me end up with the Dyson even though it’s more expensive. The straight design, and the Dyson is quieter. As well as the grip of the curls. Again my curls lasted with the shark but the grip was very loose, but the Dyson grips my curls so strong and I do feel like I get a slightly better result with my hair type. BOTTLM LINE: this is an amazing tool, that is very good quality. So if you can live with the noise and the movement of the arm, don’t hesitate - upgrade from the your 1 step for less hair damage!!

AMAZING HAIR STYLING & DRYING SYSTEM

There are two similar hair styling systems that have become extremely popular. A very significant differentiator, however, is that one brand is less than half the price of the other. The Shark FlexStyle Air Drying & Styling System is an incredible comparative bargain. We own several Shark appliances and have a genuine appreciation of those excellent products with their impressive performance. It was therefore an easy decision to select the Shark FlexStyle. The Shark FlexStyle (Model HD430) includes the Multi-Styling Tool, which is the core of the system to which the accessories attach for use. This power unit provides four heat settings (No Heat, Low, Medium, High), plus “Cool Shot” (No Heat while button is depressed and held) and three airflow settings (Low, Medium, High). Each of those setting levels are annunciated by small LED lamps above the Temperature Button and the Airflow Button. With a twist of the articulating barrel, it converts from a hair styling wand into a hair-blower / hairdryer. Accessory attachments include two 1 ¼” Auto-Wrap Curlers which wrap hair around them using the FlexStyle airflow. These curlers use Coanda Technology to wrap, curl and set hair. The Coanda Effect refers to an aerodynamic characteristic whereby a fast-moving jet of air “attaches” to a surface. The high velocity airflow of the FlexStyle effectively wraps hair around the curlers and maintains tension on the hair to develop a tight and even wrap. The curlers are directionally oriented, with one used for clockwise wraps and the other used for counterclockwise wraps (marked marked Left and Right, including directional arrows showing the airflow direction). Also included are two air styling brush attachments comprised of an oval brush with both smoothing bristles on the edges and detangling bristles in the center, and a paddle brush, which also has both smoothing and detangling bristles, for use in smoothing, straightening and volumizing hair. The final attachment in this package is a concentrator, for directing and concentrating the powerful airflow of the Shark FlexStyle when using it as a conventional hair-blower / dryer. All attachments securely anchor in place using a small rotation which interlocks the plastic cam pins and latches with an audible click. Attachments are quickly and easily released by the sliding Lock button. Shark also offers an optional Curl-Defining Diffuser which is sold separately for drying curly and wavy hair and enhancing curls and waves. Since hairstyles change and people choose to modify their hairstyles, the Curl Defining Diffuser should be included with the FlexStyle system. The system really should be complete and include everything necessary for user flexibility and choice, including the Diffuser. I am confident that my wife is just one of many users who really want and need the Diffuser attachment. It would also be nice if there was a case included for both storage and travel with the Shark FlexStyle System because this is quite an extensive collection of implements. The FlexStyle components really should not simply be stored loose in a drawer or cabinet, and when travelling it could be a challenge to pack the FlexStyle in a manner that prevents possible damage. If you plan on styling a shorter hair style or bangs, note that both of the Brush attachments are large. The Oval Brush measures 3 ¼” across the narrow aspect, and 3 7/8” on the wide aspect. The Paddle Brush measures 3 ½” across the bristles. My wife’s conventional, round styling brush is only 1 ¾” in diameter. It would be nice if a smaller diameter brush were included for users with short styles or bangs . The FlexStyle Multi-Styling Tool is 11 3/16” overall in the straight configuration for use with the curlers and brush attachments, which increase the overall length to about 17 ¼”. The Multi-Styling Tool weighs only 14.1 ounces (400 grams), without attachments. About 1/3 (3”-4”) below the top of the Multi-Styling Tool is an articulating joint which through an easy twist of the tool converts the straight tool into a 90° right angle tool for use with the concentrator attachment for hair-blowing / drying. The rotating hinge is locked in place until released with the Hinge Latch button immediately below the hinge. The FlexStyle Multi-Styling Tool is equipped with an exceptionally long power cord, spanning 9’. The cord is equipped with a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) for user safety (as required by law), and is apparently also protected by a fusible link. All of the connections on the power cord are equipped with robust strain relief, and at the base of the Multi-Styling Tool, the strain relief is angled and rotates freely so that the power cord is never a nuisance which impedes the use of the FlexStyle and the power cord is not likely to become twisted or tangled during use. The maximum wattage of the FlexStyle is 1300 watts, which equates to a 10.8 amp electrical load. Clearly, the Shark FlexStyle system replaces several hair styling implements and appliances, with an elegant, flexible, versatile and efficient all-in-one hair styling solution. A very significant benefit of the Shark FlexStyle is that it virtually eliminates the likelihood of damaging hair due to excessive heat, according to the manufacturer. The FlexStyle is designed to precisely monitor and regulate temperature by measuring and adjusting temperature 1,000 times per second. The FlexStyle accurately maintains temperature that is consistent, rather than widely fluctuating which can result in hair being exposed to excessively high temperatures and incurring damage, I measured the FlexStyle output at 7” from the nozzle. On the Low setting the temperature was approximately 140° F, on the Medium setting it was approximately 160° F and on the High setting the temperature measured approximately 180° F. The air velocity discharged by the FlexStyle is strong. Of course, the unit produces noise when in operation, but even at the High speed airflow setting, the motor noise of the FlexStyle was not uncomfortably loud, as some other hair-blowers typically are. My wife has used a great many hair styling tools and appliances throughout the years. She was very anxious to start using the Shark FlexStyle to determine if it would actually improve upon her hair styling tasks, reduce the effort and burden, and produce superior results. My wife reviewed the printed Shark FlexStyle Styling Guide which is included in the package, consulted the FAQs on the Shark website, and watched several Internet videos prior to using the FlexStyle for the first time. Mrs. Curmudgeon really loves the Shark FlexStyle. She has used each of the FlexStyle attachments in order to determine if the FlexStyle actually produces better results than she could achieve with her array of conventional hair styling implements, and to see if the FlexStyle would truly replace all of those individual, single-purpose tools. We are both very pleased with the results. Not only is she finding it to be easier and quicker to style her hair with the FlexStyle, but she genuinely prefers the results that she is achieving with the FlexStyle. The FlexStyle is excellent at producing curls of variable tightness without damaging her hair. Likewise, she found that, except for her bangs, both the oval brush attachment and paddle brush attachment performed their respective tasks better than when she formerly employed separate brushes and needed to use both hands (brush in one and blow-dryer in the other). This improved efficiency may likely be the result of the temperature controlled heated air being applied from inside the brush, rather than the conventional method. The FlexStyle appears to be well-built of high-quality plastic materials with a solid feel. The FlexStyle is comfortable and easy to use given the unit’s dimensions and light weight. My wife likes how comfortable and convenient it is to use the FlexStyle. The weight and balance are nice, and the control buttons for temperature and airflow are conveniently located on the handle. The only control button that is perhaps not in the most convenient location, especially for small hands, is the Cool Shot button, which is used to “set” curls and waves after using heated airflow. The distance between the Cool Shot button and the other controls ranges between 2 ½”: and 4”. My wife has found it to be a bit of a stretch to use that button, but has adapted her grip on the FlexStyle to facilitate the use of the Cool Shot button. This was just a very minor accommodation. Notably, the air intake for the powerful fan in the Multi-Styling Tool is at the base of the tool in the bottom 2” of the handle. It is important to avoid holding the implement in such a way that the user’s hand is obstructing the perforations for air intake, particularly since the control buttons are located in the bottom 2 ½”: of the handle. That perforated section of the handle covers a fine filter. The filter cover is removable and exposes the internal filter for cleaning with a toothbrush or other soft brush. The FlexStyle is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects, however if Shark replaces the unit, a fee (disclosed in the printed warranty provisions included in the box) is assessed. Overall, we both think that the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling and Drying System is really great. It is a powerful blow-dryer for styling and hair drying. It is a flexible and innovative hair styling system which makes curling, smoothing, straightening and styling hair faster and easier than with the numerous separate, dedicated tools, and with nicer results. A big plus is eliminating the heat damage that is virtually impossible to avoid with conventional blow-dryers, curling wands and straightening irons. The Shark FlexStyle Air Styling and Drying System really does it all, does it easier and does it better!

Truth be told, the feedback I received from this from my daughter and wife because, well, my bald head had little to offer, so here is their feedback: They both LOVED it! Here are some notes: *Representation and compatibility w many different hair types *Cool touch areas for safety and comfort *Easy to use, intuitive *Compatible with many hair types *Attractive, durable packaging *Packaging space seems to be utilized efficiently too *Instructions provided as well as 4+ QR codes to online instructions *Tools are easy to use and offer many options My seventeen-year-old daughter has long hair. After using for several days and experimenting with the various tools, each day her hair had a different "look" or "texture"... I'm honestly not sure if I am using the correct nomenclature or terminology, but that's the best I can articulate. End of the day, this is probably a borderline "luxury" item but that said, if you have the means and need, they both highly recommend it. And I also know they both have recommended it to personal friends. Great product!

Pros Quiet Versatile Easy to hold Easy to use Heats up fast Lighter than most Length allows easy reach Attachments click in easily and solid Cons Setting curls requires turning on and off Buttons difficult to find by touch No storage for attachments Awkward power brick in middle of cord Design and Features The Shark FlexStyle has a unique look compared to other hair dryers and curling irons. The body is thinner than a normal hairdryer but thicker and longer than a curling iron with what would be best described as a rose gold finish. The overall thickness is ideal for most to hold it comfortably. It feels well-built but light enough for extended use. The air intake is at the bottom of the handle. All attachments, including the curling iron, use hot air. At the bottom of the handle is the power switch and a speed and heat button. There are three speed settings and three heat settings. The speed setting is indicated by three blue lights and the heat by three red lights. Halfway up the handle is a cool boost button. There is a sliding button used to unlock the swivel which allows you to change it from hairdryer mode to the other functions. There is also a slider button to release attachments just below where you install the different attachments. The cord is plenty long for most people and is smaller at the end then most allowing it to plug into tighter spaces. This seems to have been achieved by putting the power brick in the middle of the cord. Thankfully the power cord swivels at the base of the handle so you shouldn’t need to worry about the cord getting twisted. There is no carrying case or bag included to take care of all the attachments. Usage and Performance Using it as a hairdryer is straightforward. Just unlock and rotate the end to hairdryer mode. It locks into place automatically. When you first slide on the power switch it defaults to cold but one press of the heat setting, and you will discover what is likely the fastest time you have ever experienced for a hairdryer to heat up. The process feels nearly instant. The amount of airflow and heat the FlexStyle can provide seems unexpected considering its size. The noise is also noticeably less than most hairdryers which comes in handy when other members of the family have different schedules. With just one door closed and a room away others didn’t even realize it was running. It didn’t make any other unpleasant motor sounds and mainly sounded like air rushing. It’s nice to have a smaller power plug, but for some the power brick might take a bit of getting used to. Depending on your countertop you might have an issue where the power brick slides off the counter tugging the drying unexpectedly while you are using it. It is a bit of a tradeoff but if this minor annoyance means the plug works in more places, then it seems worthwhile. The hairdryer function is nice, but the attachments are where things get more interesting. First, they install easily with a distinct click to let you know they are locked. Once they are locked, they won’t come off unless you hold the unlock button while pulling. No need to worry about attachments falling off during use. Using the paddle brush attachment cut a lot of time out of normal process of blowing dry and flat ironing with a similar look and slightly more body. The process also left the hair looking healthy using just blow dry spray. While the family doesn’t usually do curls the auto-wrap curlers seemed worth trying. They are labeled left and right but you can reverse them depending on if you want your hair to curl in or out such if you are wanting to do a curly blowout. The process is easy and slightly entertaining as your hair moves on its own. You take a section of hair and place the auto-wrap curler in the middle of the section of hair. The airflow pulls the hair around the curler without any twisting. Once the end is wrapped you move the curler closer to your head for it to wrap the rest while still not needing to twist. The extra length of the FlexStyle comes in handy here as well because you can keep your hand lower while holding it giving your arm a bit of a break. It also makes reaching the back a bit easier. Once the hair is fully wrapped you hold it for 10 seconds, then hold the cool boost button for 10 seconds to set the curl. After this you turn off the dryer and pull the curler portion down and out, so you don’t move the curl. While simple, it would have been great to see Shark add an automatic set button that does this process for you. One thing that is a bit awkward about the process is having to cross your other hand over to press and hold the cool button. The cool button is hard to find by touch. This is similar with turning it off but slightly easier as the power button is a little easier to feel. One thing that takes some adjustment is how the auto-wrap system blows out heat as it curls. The curler creates a hot spiral of air. Once you have it fully wrapped it sits next to your scalp for 10 seconds blasting you with extremely hot air. It’s still safer than bumping your skin with a regular curling iron but it’s worth noting you could still burn yourself. Another lesson you might learn the hard way is to be patient and let the attachments cool down before removing. You might be forgiven for thinking it is just plastic and it doesn’t get that hot. However, there is a fair bit of metal inside and out on the attachments, and they get very hot very quick. Final Thoughts The Shark FlexStyle at first glance seems a bit unusual but does a good job of combining several tools into one and possibly improving on some. If you are in the market for a compact multipurpose hair styling tool whether it is for travel or just at home the Shark FlexStyle is worth a look.

I love this hair dryer! The Shark Flexstyle dries in a flash then you add the versatility of a blow out, flat iron and curling iron…I just found my go to all in one hair dryer/styler!!! Just amazing!!! Out of the box, it kind of took me back a little….It looks like something I have never seen before…like someone from the year 2050 came back and gave me their hair styling equipment (it’s not fair to just call this a hair dryer… it’ so much more!) I marveled at it. It’s gorgeous! It is so light weight and I wondered how much air could this magical future device really provide. I hit the button on the shaft that allows you to turn the blower part the 90 degrees to turn it into a blow dryer and plugged it in. Most of the styles say to dry to 80 percent before trying all the curlers. So wet hair ready, I turned on the Shark Flexstyle and bam hot air jetting out the front… strong but not too strong, just right. It so easy to get just the right temp and speed with just a simple button push. It has a slightly higher pitch than my other high end hair dryer which makes it seem quieter to me. I could carry on a conversation with out much effort while it was blowing. I had to watch it on the hair drying because it dried the hair IN HALF THE TIME as normal!!! So light and controllable in the hand…a nice long chord…really really well designed! So as just a hair dryer…5 stars!!!! I would have given it 10 if I could!!! Note: it does not come with the diffuser if that is important to you. But it does give you everything else! It come with a right barrel and left barrel roller for curls…right barrel and left barrel??? Yes. As I was beginning to learn how to curl the hair with the Flexstyle I was wondering how the heck do you wrap your hair around the barrel and it stays? I had to actually watch the how to video. That’s another thing that is so great about the Flexstyle…they have an awesome QR code links to their how to videos which are SOOOO helpful!!! I watched as the curling iron sucks the hair around the barrel like magic and then you hold for 10 seconds and then “cool blast” to set the curl!!! And ohh the curls. Such helpful pro tips along the way!!! And then I tried it and just like magic the hair sucked around the barrel and locked into place effortlessly! Really amazing!!! Note: be careful when you are changing the left and right barrel as they are hot!!! Next was the paddle brush which I used as a flat iron and it also rocks!!! It will replace the flat iron for sure! Also comes with the oval brush for soft curls or under or over curls…so easy and works amazing. The Styling concentrator rounds out the package perfectly. It did feel a little strange at first because I have always been so used to holding a hairdryer a certain way and this is a little like holding a curling iron and curling iron a bit bulky…but light…After about 30 minutes of playing with it…it is an extension of my hand now!!! Just amazing!!! LOVE IT!!!

Pros and Cons Pros - fun, FAST way to dry and style. Only need to hold the unit in one hand and use my other hand to pick out locks of hair to curl. So LOTS of curl and volume. I do my hair at night, and can wake up, brush, and put in an oil smoothing product and go. Cons - Pricey, but on the holiday sale didn’t break my bank. For dry hair, it dries it out more if I don’t use a heat protectant product first (maybe the more expensive Shark unit is kinder?) LOUD! I would not be able to use this in the morning because it would wake up the house because I get up very early. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t over dry my hair (even after reading the manual and using heat protectant prep), if the unit was quieter, and didn’t have to switch curl rods. I would wait for a later iteration with those features included.
