This is a MUST-HAVE if you have non-carpeted floors! My sister got one (different brand, Tineco) and it worked so well that I had to have one, too! I was so excited when it came up on Best Buy Deal of the Day but I forgot to buy it by midnight. But the next day, this Shark brand mop-vac became the Deal of the Day, so I made sure I bought it. I'm more familiar with the Shark brand, so I was even more thrilled to be able to get the Deal of the Day on this one! Basically, it vacuums and mops your floors in one action. No more sweeping and then mopping. If you have a spill, for example, you spill your cereal bowl on the floor, you can get the mop vac out and just take care of the whole mess in one action. It will go over area rugs by pushing a button to make it more effective on the carpet. I don't know if you could go over a whole room full of carpet because we don't have any. But it does a great job on area rugs. When doing tile, laminate or hardwood floors, the moisture that comes out is minimal so it dries very quickly. It does have a self-cleaning feature for the roller, but you still have to take it apart to let all the parts dry. That's the only hassle. But it is very easy to take apart and put back together. It is also cordless, which makes it very convenient to use. And it is even self-propelling, so I can even use it one-handed! It comes with a small bottle of a concentrated cleaning solution and has a pleasant smell and not too overpowering. But you can also use just plain water with it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this appliance!

The product does not weigh as much as on would think. It is easy to manoeuvre around. It has a carpet setting which is nice for when there are thin rugs in a room. As well as a self cleaning function. It lets you knkw when the battery is low as well as when the water needs to be changed. The only thing i do not like is that it does not reach all the way towards the wall, so i have to clean the edges myself.

It cleans really good but it has a little bit trouble picking up hair I have German Shepard he sheds a lot but overall it’s really good

We've owned this product for several weeks and have used it MANY times. Our hope was that it would totally eliminate the need for mopping our 1700 sq foot home. There are some pros, but there are some cons. It has not eliminated the need for mopping our home, but it has greatly reduced the need for mopping. Probably by 75 % or more The biggest pro is that it really does a good job of cleaning because it put clean water on the floor, scrubs the floor with the roller and vacuums ups the dirty water. A traditional mop and mop bucket will NEVER be able to do this. It really cleans floors well. Because of the run time, which we have observed to be approx 22 minutes before the battery runs out, we are not able to clean our entire house before recharging. Also, when you run the unit until it dies, it does not have the power to run the cleaning cycle until it sufficiently recharges, This "con" can be eliminated, I assume, by purchasing the corded model. Another drawback is that it leaves a 1" area along walls and other barriers that does not get cleaned. This is the major reason we still have to occasionally use the mop. After using it the first couple of times, we considered returning it because of the drawbacks, but for us the fact that is really does a great job getting the floor clean caused us to hang on to it. Also, don't think you can race around your house cleaning with this product. To get good results you have to use long forward and backward strokes to put down the cleaning fluid and vacuum it back up again. The cleaning fluid container holds enough liquid to vacuum for about 15 minutes before running dry. IF you have a smaller area to clean, maybe 1000 sq. ft. or less, you may be able to clean the entire area with one charge. It WAS toss up for us but we decided to keep it. We have not seen any advantage of using on rugs so far. Again buying the corded version may be the better option for some.

Fantastic product thats easy to use. Cleaned my area rug so well, and my hardwood and linoleum as well! Charges on its base tucked away in the corner.

very easy to use, handles dirt fairly well on hard floors, a little worse on carpet, the only drawback is that it does not work in corners and along baseboards

This product exceeded my expectations! Im a mom of 4! Let me just tell you this is a gift from above! It's effortless. The suction power is phenomenal, it's instantly dry after. I use it almost daily on my tile and rugs. It's made cleaning so much less time consuming and strenuous. I love it!

I have wanted one of these all-in-one vacs for a while. I have almost purchased another manufacturer's model several times but I didn't like the fact that it was corded. I already have a Shark Steam Mop that I love and a cordless vacuum. When I saw this cordless Hydrovac, I had to have it! I was not disappointed. Out of the box, it was easy to put together and figure out how to use it. You just push the handle into the body and you're done. You charge it on the base it comes with four 4 hours before you use it to get a full charge There is a battery meter on the vac when you put it on the base. The meter shuts off when it is done. The vac is lightgweight and easy to maneuver. It comes with a small container of cleaner concentrate, which has a clean scent. You add water to the line on the clean water tank and then add cleaner to fill it to the next line. You insert the clean water container into the vac and you're ready to go. Operation is pretty self explanatory. There is a power button at the front of the handle. There are buttons on the handle. There is a button on the top of the handle to choose area rugs or hard flooring. When it is on, it is set for area rugs. Off is hard floor. I was disappointed that there isn't a carpet option but since the roller is a soft material, it wouldn't be condusive to vacuuming carpet. A small amount of water with solution is dispensed as you vacuum. There is no trigger to pull. The roller bar turns to lightly scrub the floor for you. It did a decent job of cleaning the floors, which were especially messy after a week of repairmen and delivery people being in and out. Any heavily skilled spots came out when I went over them a second time. It did not clean off hard, stuck on food particles. I had to scrape those off. My home is about 1800 sq ft. 2/3 of it is hard floor. I was going slow as the floor was quite dirty. The vac ran out of power when I still had half of the kitchen left. I would say that on an average day, I could easily finish before the battery ran out. When you are finished, make sure you still have some clean water left so you can run the vac through a self-clean cycle when you put it back on the dock. The self-clean cycle cleans the roller brush. When you are done with that, you remove the dirty and clean water tanks and dump them. Make sure you carefully dump the dirty water in the toilet. You won't want that in your sink. The container comes apart by lifting the filter out and then pulling the two sections of the cannister apart. This will all need to be washed out. This is the most disgusting part of the whole thing. The filter had dirt, hair and debris all over it. Unfortunately, I left the filter on top of the vac to dry before putting it away and my dog decided it was a chew toy. I have to find a new filter now but that's on me. They aren't on any websites yet, probably because this is a new product. All in all, I am very pleased with this vac. The footprint of the dock is small. The vac did a really nice job on my floors and didn't leave them really wet. I think that in the future, I would make sure the floir didn't have so much debris on it when I used the vac. It can handle the dirt well. It just was too gross to see the dirty water afterwards and to clean the filter. But that's on me. This would make a really nice wedding, birthday or holiday gift. I know they say not to give gifts with cords but I would love to receive somethingnlike this as a gift.

I absolutely love this hydro vac and I use it every other day to keep my floors clean. We’ve got three dogs so this machine is a must have! Love it!

If i had to pick on it the one thing they could approve on is the battery life but still long enough to get a large area done definitively worth the money

This is a great appliance if you have very flat floors. We have tiled floors that have slight grooves. The vac does not clean in the grooves, sadly, which was a main reason we got it. I will probably need to return it, unless they have rollers that have longer brushes.

love my hydro shark. it's my first vac-mop and i use it daily. no streaks and dries instantly. wish i wouldn't purchased this sooner.

We love our vacuum mop! It is so convenient and makes keeping our floors clean a breeze.

My wife loves to use this product. Very good for basic cleaning such as liquid spills on the floor. But not recommend for deep cleaning.

This was a great product in the beginning. I have had it for almost 2 years and have loved it until now. It keeps showing an error of “empty clean tank”. Online I have found some workarounds that will still allow it to function, but as of now (8/6/24) I do not know of any complete fixes for this issue.

The Shark WD-101 is a great floor cleaner.Its light manueverable, cleans the floor and poicks up dirt at the same time.

I can’t say enough about this vacuum. This is a very versatile machine with many great features. One of the features that I noticed is that is a really lightweight. This vacuum floor cleaner is easy to navigate and lightweight enough to push around without being burdened by a heavy machine. It cleans the floor quite well and the fragrance from the cleaner is very pleasant. I also like the fact that it does not involve a cord. Being able to take this machine up and down stairs and not have to worry about a cord getting tangled up is a plus. This vacuum has a charger that it charges when you are done with it. The battery last a long time and when you put the vacuum on the charger it take very little time to recharge and it is self cleaning which is very convenient. I really like this machine because it is great for spills in the kitchen and everywhere else in the house. Not having to fill up a mop bucket and ring out the mop is great. The self cleaning dock makes it great by keeping the roller heads clean and fresh.

With an all hardwood kitchen and living room that gets plenty of foot traffic with our family and dogs, we are a 'clean every day' kind of family. Our nightly routine included vacuuming the area with a stick vac and then using a padded wet-mop to mop the area. Not a huge time commitment, but certainly one that I'm open to making more efficient! Enter the Shark Hydrovac Cordless Pro XL 3-in-1! I'm always a little apprehensive of mopping devices with steep learning curves. This guy couldn't have been any easier! Set-up is a snap. Literally. I inserted the handle into the bottom and I was ready to go. The unit itself is so lightweight I couldn't believe how easy it was to push across the floor and lift back into the charging base. From what I can tell I can use any basic floor cleaner so we'll be using our regular floor concentrate and it's so convenient to take care of my vacuuming and mopping in one swipe! I find that the mop path is consistent and much drier immediately after a pass than the spray mop I had been using. The unit self cleans when you're done and there is an easy to empty water container that is almost unreal. We clean every day and yet the water is quite disgusting. One last note - props to Shark for the headlights. You don't always think about that on a vacuum or wet mop and they're VERY handy when cleaning under tables or counters. Well done! Must-have in any household!
