First of all, let me start by saying that I was really impressed with the packaging of the Shark HyperAir. It came in a very sturdy box that was well-protected. When I opened the box, I was immediately struck by the sleek design of the hair dryer. It's very modern and stylish, and it looks great on my wife's vanity. The Shark HyperAir is also very lightweight and easy to hold. This is important for my wife, because she has small hands. She says that it's much easier to hold than her old hair dryer, and she doesn't get as tired after using it. I am coming directly from a $35 common hair dryer that was solid. When my kid broke it, I was super bummed, but I knew it was an opportunity. And soon, I overwhelmed by all the options available. I decided I invest a lot of time and money into my hair so I would not be running out and buying another store shelf dryer. I also could not justify the $450 Dyson although I would LOVE to have one. In my research, I stumbled upon the Shark HyperAIR. It's fairly new so finding reviews that weren't sponsored was a little difficult. I ordered online and picked it up the next morning. I showered. I waited 5 minutes. Then I started my stop watch. I have medium-long hair but it's not super thick, and I was 80% dry in 2 minutes. I spent the next 4 using the styling brush attachment. At 6min and 30sec, I was completely dried AND styled for the day which is very impressive. I didn't have to use a straightner to get that sleek look. This little dryer packs a strong punch. My hair looks and feels healthy and fabulous. Products used are hair oil and leave in conditioner. The negatives: It's roughly the same weight as my old hair dryer so it wins no points for being light weight. The other issue is how HOT the barrel gets, especially when attachments are on. I will have to use the cool shot VERY often to keep this tool in check. You can change the heat and fan settings but even on low heat, it's HOT. The heat and fan will automatically adjust for the attachment but you can also change it. The cool shot will be vital to continued use. I am not sure how the box can clearly boast "No Heat Damage!" when the air is that hot. All that in mind, I would do 5 stars because of the time saved and ease of use. It's a great tool and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the Shark HyperAIR

I LOVE this thing. I’ve had it for a couple of months now. I’ve tried so many blow dryers in the past. I have 4a/4b type hair and it’s thick. I love the brush attachment. It gets my hair really straight with minimal heat. It’s not very loud and doesn’t make the room all hot. I love that you can adjust the direction of the attachment to make it more comfortable for however I am holding the dryer at what ever part of my head. The price is high but we’ll worth it. The packaging was done really well. It came with a little brush to clean the dust out and a manual to better understand the device and how to use it and the attachments based on hair type.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, looks like I might be using it more because it dries my hair so fast and does not damage it with the cooling feature!

It dries my hair in about 8-10 minutes. I can do a blowout in a total of 20 mins, and it looks soooo good! This item is worth every penny, and IMO, I think it works better than Dyson :) I will note that it’s loud so if that bothers you, you won’t like it at all.

I love this hairdryer. My hair dyes really fast compared to other hairdryers. I have had it for over a year and haven’t had any issues.

I love , love , love this hair dryer. It’s a total game changer. I have tons of very fine, very wavy unmanageable hair . It takes forever to dry and always come out frizzy. NOT anymore!! I can actually dry it straight and smooth with no hassle or being overheated This dryer and its accessories are fantastic!!

Best hair dryer I've tried yet. Gets hair super smooth and dries much faster than other professional dryers. Very ergonomic and easier to use because of the design compared to regular dryers. I'm no hair expert but this gave me consistent results from day one. Never going back!

The Shark Hyper Air touts that is dries as fast as the Dyson. I don't have the Dyson to compare it to - but it definitely dries faster than my previous hair dryer. It also is quieter than my previous dryer. It combines heated air and ionized air which is supposed to not leave heat damage, increase smoothness & shine, decrease frizz & flyaways. I have curly hair and loath straitening my hair because of the time it takes to dry my hair. The Shark Hyper Air definitely reduced the amount of time to dry my hair. I was able to find instructions on how to use the 2-in-1 concentrator, styling brush, and how to clean it by scanning the QR code inside the box and watching some videos. I look forward to being able to purchase the diffuser to add to my collection.

I just received a new Shark HyperAir hair dryer and IQ Styling Brush, and after using it for the past few days I believe that it is going to be my new best friend. My hair looks great and was dried in a fraction of the time it normally takes. Healthy, easy styling is a girl’s best friend especially when it is a daily chore and has been for decades. The product is designed around Shark’s new technology that intelligently combines High-Velocity Heated Air & Ionized Air and delivers ultra-fast drying that leaves my hair with limited heat damage. The combination of the Ionized Air increases smoothness and shine while decreasing frizz and fly-away strands of hair. The unit is very light weight and when in full operation, is still very quiet. The controls are strategically placed for ease with an On/Off control at the rear of the handle along with a Temperature Control with 3 speeds and an Airflow with three speeds also on the rear. There is a Cool Shot button on the face of the handle to lock in a style with a blast of cool air. The HyperAir is designed to be used with its four (4) IQ Styling attachments, two are included with the purchase of the hair dryer. The IQ 2-in-1 Concentrator is very adjustable and allows for precision from pre-styling to precise definition. The HyperAir uses the technology PID intelligent heat control to measure outlet heat up to 1,000 times per second. This technology is the key to the most wonderful attributes of this hair dryer - consistent heat and air distribution. Another impressive feature is that the IQ Styler attachments are designed with dual optical sensors that recognize the stylers and intelligently set heat & airflow for faster styling. The unit comes with a 2-year limited warranty and is basically maintenance free because it even has an air filter that is equipped with an integrated lifetime filter that doesn’t need to be removed or replace. It just needs to be cleaned and the product is designed so that the filter can be easily cleaned. I have had some high-end hair dryers, including the one that this one is often compared to, but this retails for ½ the cost of that product and is just as effective with easier to use attachments. It is a very good hair dryer and is designed exceptionally well. I would not hesitate to recommend it personally to anyone. It is well worth the investment if you have to get up every morning and style your hair before going out the door.

I have been looking for a hairdryer for my daughter to support multiple styling brush attachments and got Shark HyperAir with IQ 2-in-1 Concentrator and IQ Styling Brush. It came with Shark HyperAir, IQ 2-in-1 Concentrator, IQ Styling Brush, Small Cleaning Brush. It has a modern design and is very lightweight. This dryer has built-in features and additional attachments like a Curl-Defining diffuser that can be purchased on the Shark website. The Ultra-fast drying really works with the HyperAir IQ technology providing high velocity and ionized air without any damage to the hair due to the heat. The Intelligent heat control is a great feature that measures outlet heat up to 1,000 times per second, ensuring consistent temperature and air distribution. The Auto optimized heat and airflow settings allow the hair to last long for a full day. The buttons are on the top of the dryer and easy to adjust the airflow and heat output with led lights. The dryer is powerful to dry the hair quickly. The attachment IQ 2-In-1 Concentrator is very easy to attach and allows to dry and share the hair very easily. The IQ styling brush allows to dry hair quickly and help to straighten the hair. My daughter is using only this dryer now and her hair is very smooth and straight. I was very impressed with the results of this dryer compared to the old dryers we were using at home. It comes with 5 years manufacturer warranty and Shark has been the industry leader for making solid Vaccum cleaning products and HyperAir with IQ 2-in-1 Concentrator and IQ Styling Brush is another amazing product from Shark.

Love this hair dryer. It’s quieter than expected. Wait for it to go on sale then it’s super worth it. My hair is wavy and on the thicker side and with this hair dryer, it has cut my drying time in half. I use the brush attachment to make my hair less frizzy. I like my hair straight so it has also cut my hair straightening time in half. It’s powerful and very comparable to a Dyson plus it’s less pricey.
