    Excellent “Smart” Robot Vacuum

After having used the Shark ION 750 for cleaning both hard and carpeted surfaces, I am thoroughly impressed with its ability to clean/vacuum hard surfaces like tile and linoleum as well as vacuuming pile carpet. The ION 750 was able to navigate around dining table legs, bed frame castered legs, and more while continuing to vacuum around them. Impressive! Setup was easy via the Shark app. You can use the Shark app to check the current status of the vacuum or direct the ION 750 to clean, pause, return to base station, or spot clean (e.g. vacuum will vacuum in a tight circle). You can even use the app to schedule an auto start cleaning. Only very minor assembly, attaching two brush heads to the bottom of the vacuum, is required. Included is 9 feet of botboundary which serves as a temporary boundary for defining the vacuum space. Ultimately, more length of botboundary would have been nice given the dimensions of my living space, but additional botboundary can be purchased. Overall this is an amazing robot vacuum with great features, long battery life, superb cleaning capabilities, and “smart” cleaning abilities.

I had a chance to get the Shark Ion Robot. This is my first vacuum robot. The thought of having a little robot that would do my vacuuming for me, was just so appealing. Enter the Shark Ion vacuum robot. The robot itself was really easy to setup, a couple of snap in lower brushes that pull and push dirt into it's vacuum suction. You do need tablet or smart phone to program the ION a cleaning schedule. If you don't care for having it run while you via app, you can manual by pressing the cleaning button on top of the robot. The app portion was pretty simple to setup as well. The app did all the wifi configuration so you can control the robot from anywhere. I like that I have the ability to tell the robot to start cleaning from work just by tapping the app. I'm pretty sure I can even tell it to vacuum If I was on vacation on the other side of the world. This is a really cool feature. Although, I did thought I would be able to remote control the robot like a remote control car, this was not the case. You can only tell it to start cleaning or dock itself. One more very cool feature is that it can return to it's dock on it's own when it's finished cleaning or when it needs to recharge, so my ION vacuum has it's own corner. If you want an entry level vacuum robot, I would suggest looking into the Shark ION,

I was skeptical b/c it's not a smart robot vacuum meaning it doesn't remember where it has been. It randomly goes around our main floor of four rooms and two hallways, but it manages to pickup mostly everything. The battery life for us is good b/c we have mostly wood and tile floors. I love how big the dust cup is which is great for pet hair. The Shark app is very easy to use and it works very well with Alexa. It has not problem finding its dock as soon as it gets close enough to sense it. My only disappointment is we purchased this Shark-ION 750 over an iRobot b/c according to the specs online it was suppose to be short enough to get under our furniture. This vacuum is not as short as the specs state. I highly recommend this robot vacuum if your looking for a good budget vacuum to help out around the house.

    Great Robot for the Price

We purchased this Robot after doing some thorough research. We weren't really down with spending 700 to 1k for our first Robot. After endless videos and sifting through reviews we decided on this Shark 750 because of its price and great reviews. The 720 and 750 are the same machine with the addition of wifi on the 750. It's only like 30 bucks more for the 750. So our home is one floor, all commercial laminate and tile. We have few transitions for flooring and this 750 navigates over them like nothing. We own two dogs and live in a very dusty area. First day we picked it up, we decided to do a test. We swept the house as we normally would and let the 750 run after we were done, without charging it. It ran on about 10 minutes worth of battery life it had and we were blown away. WE HAD JUST SWEPT! The shark was able to collect a pretty good size dust ball and accumulated plenty of dog hair. Later that night we ran it for about an hour on a complete charge and it actually had about another 20 minutes of battery left. The 750 picked up so much dust that it left us blown away again! My floors look so clean! I don't feel the dust under my feet when barefoot. Even when we vaccumm our floors in the past, we weren't as thorough as this 750 as it makes multiple passes through the entire house. We are super pleased with this purchase. The app is pretty cool as you can control it from work. It doesn't get stuck and didn't get caught on my charger today, it navigated over the line and then backed out of there. The bumper has been stuck once and it was simple to release. The filter on this is a huge plus. Accessing the large canister is easy. Cleaning it out is easy. If you can afford this and don't want to go crazy on a Neato or Irobot go for the kill in this bad boy. The only way you will be disappointed is if you are unrealistic. But even then I don't see how you can be unrealistic. It's a vacuum. It vacuums well, navigates my home and is able to maneuver even over the round base of my barstool. I RECCOMEND THIS SO MUCH THAT I TOOK THE TIME AND MADE IT A POINT TO WRITE THIS REVIEW! This photo is of the first run we did after we had just swept!!!

I was very skeptical about robot vacuum cleaners, first I bought the Hoover Quest 1000 and returned it to the week because it just entered the carpet and stopped and immediately had to pick it up and change location. Then I bought the roomba 690, it did a very good job cleaning, it was very noisy and as soon as the sensor touched the carpet it changed the route and never entered the area of the carpet, so I bought the Shark Ion Robot 750 and this is the best of all because clean the whole house, go to all the rooms, it's very quiet and the most important thing for me is that it cleans the whole carpet without stocked, at the beginning I made it work every day, now I program it to clean the house from 3 to 4 times a week, and I can put it to work from wherever I am just using the app from my cell phone. I have 2 furry cats and my house has never been so clean without cat hairs flying everywhere since I have the Shark Ion 750.

    Great Vacuum Cleaner

This is our first robotic vacuum and we really liked it. Good features which includes Easy to use phone app, An hour of solid vacuuming, Ability to clear close areas, Greater modulation and easy to set the cleaning time lines from Mobile ION ROBOT App. It takes first few days to know the areas to clean and once it get used to the all the areas in home, it works more better. The only Cons is, it wont be able to clean the comer areas due to the shape of the vacuum cleaner. In that case it requires manual intervention to move the dust in an area so that IROBOT can pick up the dust. We use this Vacuum cleaner once in a week and it does help :).

With 6 people in the house, the floor is always dirty with all sort of things. We used to have a dog who "cleaned" the floor from the kids dinner mess, so it's nice to have a replacement that's even lower maintenance. Pros: + Cleaning power is relatively good. It picks up cheerios, rice, but not when it's stuck on the floor already. + It learns the nooks and crannies of the house pretty well. + It can self-charged by going back to the base Cons: - The app is very basic. It's basically a remote to ask it to clean or back to base with scheduling option. I would like to see more functions such as how full the waste container, steering of the vacuum cleaner. All and all, we're very happy with "Cole". We named it after the Black Ninja from Ninjago.

I purchased this vaccuum to help pick up any debris since i have small children and pets. It does a good job with the sweeping but i dont like that it just rolls all over the place missing some spots until it eventually gets to them. The vaccuum has a good battery life. I took a star off the review because within the 1st week one of the bristles fell off and i had to buy a replacement pack. Also the charger is quite thin in my opinion.

I have never been disappointed in a Shark product yet and this one continues to exceed my expectations. It was easy to set up, the app that you can use to control it is great and it works like a charm. To test it, I vacuumed my floors with my full sized Shark Lift Away Vac, then I ran the Robot Vac and amazingly it ended up filling the dust bin. My cats were curious about it but none of them were interested enough to ride on it (darn!). It just goes back and forth around the house picking up all the little bits and pieces of this and that. Yes, it occasionally gets stuck but it is so easy to find it, move it and start it on it's way again. I have birds also and it is just wonderful to have it vacuum up the seeds they always manage to toss out of their cages onto the floor. I don't have one single negative thing to say about it.

I didn’t know exactly want I was getting, but reading the reviews I cans safely say that this was a good purchase. It has some problems getting back over the transition strips to reach the charging station, but most of the time it will find it’s way back. On an open, even floor plan it would be a problem. It certainly does help cleaning our hardwoods, and I can see it will work on the carpet, but not like the upright. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something to help with clean up. Four stars only because of the transition strips and lack of information about them in previous reviews and product information.

I purchased this product because I have pug that continuously sheds its fur and I got tired of using the heavy regular floor vacuum everyday which aggravates my right hand carpal tunnel syndrome. Since I intended to use robotic vacuum just to pick up my pugs fur, I did not want to spend more money just for this. And so when I saw that it was on sale for $149.99 I bought it and I’m happy that it does the job just as I expected it.

This Robot Vacuum was simple to set up and worked great for almost a year. My familiy and I called him Alfred and he just became part of the family. The warranty we got was 1-year. Which is up in about 8 days. Alfred as died on us and the error that we are receiving doesn't even show up in Shark's database of errors. It sounds like the electronic board is frying. Luckily, it died a few days before the warranty ended so we were able to get a replacement. But we were also told we would be getting a newer model on the phone and then the next day they sent out the same unit. I would be really cautious with this produt because I've been reading about othes online that died aroudn 1-year and 2 months. Just over the warranty. So it looks like the track record is only about 1-year for this robot which is utterly rediculous. If I could return mine to Best Buy and just buy the newer unit I totally would. Or go with different brand altogether. We kept this machine in perffect working order. I bought new filters every month, new brushes and cleaned him sometimes twice daily just because I wanted him to be at his best. Just be cautious and know that your family will only have about 1-year with this guy. Either spring for the newer model which is about the same price on their website right now, or go with a different brand.

This works great! We have 1 step in between rooms and i was worried this would fall, but it doesnt! It doesn't get right up against baseboards which is kind of annoying. But it does a great job of vacuumeing every where else. My only complaint is after the first use the wheels started to squeak.

I purchased this after seeing commercials on TV. I am a fan of Shark vacuums and decided to trust the Shark name for quality. The setup is simple for the app from Shark and also the Alexa/Echo shark skills was simple. My house is vacuumed at least once a week using Shark navigator or Shark Rocket. Every other day I have ran the robotic Shark vac I am amazed on how much is in the dust bin. I do have shedding dogs that have made my home on a constant must clean floors continually. The Shark robotic docks itself quite nicely. I bumped into the docked unit while walking by jarring it slightly off the charge station. I was surprised when it started itself and deadlocked itself. I am very happy with this purchase.

Ordered This, I Got Model 750N, it has MAX button instead of SPOT button. Also does not include BOUNDARY CONNECTORS or CLEANING TOOL as stated in listing on BESTBUY. I suppose newer model than listed. Would've liked the cleaning tool, but easy to wipe off filter without. BESTBUY should update listing. Very Quiet, has run for over 2 hours on each charge. Great for picking up Cat hair. Paired with Google assistant, works great. Just tell Google mini to tell SHARK to clean. Works great with the app also.

Great addition to our household. I have it programmed to run everyday at 9 a.m. it usually runs two and a half to three hours at a shot. It does not always dock at the end of its cycle, but it does really decent job. With two dogs, it tends to pick up a lot of pet hair and we would not normally notice. Deducted one star just because of the docking issues. We're going back and buying a second one for our upstairs.
