Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro is light weight, easy to maneuver but has great suction. I have back and shoulder issues but I'm able to use this vacuum with no problems at all.

My background - I have owned a Dyson which died, I purchased a Miele as a replacement, then we moved to a house with carpet upstairs and on the stairs only. I had no motorized tool to get the stairs. I purchased this Shark to help with the stairs, downstairs vinyl, and downstairs rugs. What took me an hour or more with the Miele, great vac but too heavy and bulky for stairs. With the Shark it takes me 10 minutes to do the stairs. Instead of sweeping now I use the hard floor tool. The Shark is great. I can get the entire downstairs floor cleaned up in less time than it took me to do the stairs with my upstairs upright. I have accidentally opened the dustbin by placing it against something, that's annoying I'd rather it faced up maybe. I know it has a filter but I don't like the exhaust blowing in my face I'd rather it blew down. Just my observations about flaws. Otherwise the suction is great, it's easy to change out heads on it. The lights on it are pointed well so it highlights where you're vacuuming rather than somewhere else, or too dispersed. It can be used with or without the main tube it is extremely lightweight. Nice length of cord. Excellent amount of tools. All that and a reasonable price.

The warranty excludes "electrical parts which normally require replacement". While under warranty, a short hose in the floor motorhead broke and the unit lost all suction. Shark told me the whole bottom unit is considered an electrical item, and is not covered under the warranty. I would not imagine this would truly be considered a component that would "normally require replacement". Nonetheless, Shark failed to honor the warranty. I would also suppose that the upper unit that provides the suction, also being electrical, is also not covered under warranty. So, really, the warranty is useless. Don't buy if you expect any warranty coverage.

Not a spring chicken, I've owned several, very expensive vacuums. After having a puppy join our family a few months ago, I was tired of dragging around my vacuum and started looking for a lighter weight alternative to quickly cleaning up the soft, fluffy puppy hair that seems to invade every nook and cranny of the house. The Shark is so easy to use and it does an amazing job. It maneuvers easily into corners, attachments pop on and off quickly and the cord is long...very long, so I'm not constantly stopping to relocate it. I'll be buying one for each of my children and all wedding shower gifts!!

After doing much research, I bought this vacuum and it has not disappointed. It is super light weight and easy to handle. The vacuum is so versatile I can fit it in small places and almost under any couch, bed, dresser, etc. to get those lingering dust bunnies. Assembling the vacuum took about a 1 minute and it was up and running. Love: Light on the vacuum head which makes it very easy to see debris Accessibility to easily switch from a regular vacuum to a hand-held vacuum Easy cleaning out the filter All the attachments that come with it Easy turning and switching between cleaning carpet and hard floors Do not need large area to store Lots of power Hate: That the vacuum will not stand up by itself when in use (when you need to move cord to new outlet, move something from floor, etc.). I have to rest it upon something (wall) or physically lower the entire vacuum on the floor. Overall, great vacuum and highly recommend for anyone that has limited storage.

My wife had seen the infomercial for the Shark Rocket and thought it would work great for our home. So I started researching and decided on the Deluxe Pro and so far we haven't been disappointed. The Rocket is light, maneuverable, and powerful. We mainly wanted for our hardwood floors but we have been impressed with its carpet cleaning as well. The cord has plenty of length so you won't be switching outlets constantly. The proof in its abilities are in full canister when you empty it.

Sorry for the bad joke. This is a solid vacuum. I bought it to replace my WindTunnel upright because it just felt too old school. The stick vacuum is lighter, smaller, more powerful, and easier to use in my apartment for quick jobs. With the old vacuum I felt like if I brought it out of the closet I better vacuum my whole place, with the Shark, I can do spot jobs without a second thought.

Great vacuum Lightweight with plenty of suction power. Works well on wood and carpet. Attachments are easy to use and the ability to seperate motor head for attachment use really makes doing moldings and baseboards a breeze. The light works well in dark tight spots also.

I would have given this 5 stars except for one small thing: the vacuum can't stand up by itself. Other than that I LOVE IT and finding somewhere to lean it is an ok trade off for the excellent price. I love the way you can easily separate the vacuum from the extension for easy cleaning in small spaces. Nice attachments too. I recommend this Shark!

I always had uprights and tried to keep to a budget. The wife and I have 3 small dogs and the last dirt devil just wouldn't get the fur out of the rugs even with a new hepa filter. So for me this vacuum had a lot to deliver for twice my normal budget. WOW, it is 1/2 the weight yet 5 times more powerful. The first cleaning required 4 dirt cup empties. Now 1 per cleaning a 1200 sf home. Also takes 1/2 the time. The hardwood floor tool is nice and does better than a dust mop by far. The lights are nice to see when vacuuming under furniture too. Just wish it would clean on its own like a roomba:)

We had recently purchased an electric broom (not from Best Buy) that wasn't worth the dirt it didn't pick up. It was intended for use in our family room where lugging the main vacuum was a hassle. Gave up on it and went to Best Buy to see what was available. Selection was more extensive than I had thought and we weighed the merits of several vacuums. We settled on the Shark Deluxe Pro because of its light weight and ease of storage. So far we are very satisfied with its power. Only down side is that it does not stand alone due to motor being mounted on top. Not a major issue considering the pluses.

I really like the convenience of the Shark. Had one of those large, heavier ones. The Shark is light and easy to manuever. You don't have to worry about bags to change. You can disconnect the head section and clean windows and screens. The cord is long enough to clean an area without getting tangled or finding another outlet. Went with the cord and this brand vs the cordless and battery of the competition and the pricing. I didn't want to worry about changing the battery, the power and the additional costs later.

I wanted something lightweight for my hardwood floors and carpeted stairs. This is amazing for both. I have used it with the attachments to clean floors, baseboards, fan blades, I even got the dust of my blinds with it very easily. I recommend this to anyone! Best vacuum ever. Oh and it works great on carpets just as good as hardwoods!

Not even a Dyson can live up to this vacuum. This vacuum picks up cat hairs and I have two long-haired kittens. It's easy to use, lightweight, swivels, fits under almost all low furniture. Great to remove and use as a hand vac. A plus that it is corded and no waiting for charging. Comes with attachments and it also lights so you see every dust particle to vacuum. Great for hardwood and carpets. Can be hung on wall. The only downside is I have absolutely no where to hang and because it is top heavy it cannot stand up on its' own. I wish they would sell the metal stand they have use to display which holds up the vacuum upright on the floor. With that it would be perfect. The very best buy ever.

Has very light weight, easy and comfortable to use. Small but strong vacuum.

This vacuum is light weight, and it comes apart and snaps back together beautifully. I can go from vacuuming my hardwood floors to vacuuming the stairs in a snap. It will vacuum my small kitchen rugs very well also, as well as upholstered chairs and sofas. It is very well engineered, and it is easy to empty the bin. Storage in my closet is a cinch, too. I love my new vacuum!

I have a cordless dyson, but it only does maybe 1/3 of my house before it dies, and it doesn't do very well on my area rugs. My new shark is great, it has a 30ft cord, so I can finish my house and it sucks dog hair off my area rugs with no problem. I would recommend this to everybody, I LOVE IT.

We are very pleased with the purchase of the Shark vacuum. It is light, easy to use and gets the job done. We have had several vacuums, including expensive Kirbys. This Shark has them beat hands down. For the price I don't believe you will find a better product for the typical home.

My family and I enjoy the light weight and versatility of the vacuum. The bagless container is a little too small and the vacuum is top heavy and cannot be stood upright. But it comes with a nice hanger that allowed us to keep the vacuum in the closet and out of the way until we needed it. Overall we are happy with the suction and its ease of operation.

The Shark Rocket DeluxePro Vacuum is light and easy to use. It has a powerful suction and comes with many useful attachments. The dirt container is easy to detach and empty. The swivel head makes it easy to go around furniture.
