I am so appreciative for this product. I actually noticed myself being upset that I was not able to use it when I wanted too because I did not charge it. The thing is, I should’ve paid more attention because I did not have a charger to begin with. I am a person that pays closely to detail. The team for this vacuum immediately answered and assisted me. The alarming cry shark generally sends the most stout hearted persons scurrying for safety . I am shouting out shark in the way of a cheerleader . The small brain and under developed nervous system protects the shark against feelings of pain or fear making it extremely difficult for man to produce an effective device for shark defense. To many people the shark is not their favorite “animal” and seen as a menace. When it comes to this vacuum I appreciate the implacable eating machine with little in its brain besides an urge to sink its jaws into my floors. I appreciate finding a friend in the shark team. I am open to being one of the few TRUE brand ambassador.

Shark VacMop Professional is a cordless 2 in 1 complete cleaner with powerful suction and spray mopping that is a must for homeowner with hardwood floors. It just takes few minutes to get it assembled right out the box. No tools required for assembly and it’s so simple, just insert rods into each other until it clicks in place. It comes with 2 disposable mopping pads, cleaner (12oz bottle), magnetic charger and instructional manual in the box. We have a 3000sqft hard floors (both tiles and hardwood) and this vacmop is a perfect addition for both vacuuming and mopping. Very handy when needed to quickly clean the spills in kitchen. Its so amazing to have both vacuum and mop in one unit where you can vacuum and clean the mess. Just spray with a touch of button and mop back and forth for a clean floor and if any dirt you just hit the vacuum. Tried cleaning both tile and hardwood floors with no issues. Suction on the vacuum is good for small mess and is powerful to pick the cheerios/corn flakes from floor. Its very light and convenient where it can clean so well in hard to reach areas. We do have cordless Dyson vacuum and love this one for smaller cleaning jobs. Charger is a magnetic disk that attaches to the unit (similar to apple watch charging). Once attached there is an indicator that flashes when charging and stops when fully charged. Only downside is the disposable pads. These pads are proprietary where the dirt from vacuum suction is stored in the pad. Once its full and dirty it needs replaced and this is an ongoing cost. Overall, it’s a great cordless powerful 2-in-1 vacmop that will be recommended to any home for quick cleaning.

Hi, I ordered the vacmop pro because my other one stop working, but I went on vacation before I received it. When I returned, I tried to use my vac, but can't figure out how to charge it, I have no charger. Then I discovered its different than the one I have. Now I have 2 and cant use either one. My time to return to the store is passed. Please help. I don't have money to trow away. I liked the first one the reason I ordered a second one.

EASY - ALL IN ONE HARD SURFACE CLEANING MACHINE

EASY - ALL IN ONE HARD SURFACE CLEANING MACHINE REVIEW: Shark VACMOP Pro Cordless Hard Floor Vacuum Mop Best Buy Tech Insider Network SUMMARY: Extremely easy to use and conveniently organized. This Shark VACMOP is good to go and easy to assemble. I really loved the magnetic charging pod. The suction power is only so-so, especially compared to other dedicated Shark products (but it is still OK). The built-in light is useful and overall, it does a good job for its intended use on hard surfaces. UNBOXING: (see picture) INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: The packaging is good, and easy to unbox. Setup was easy, no instructions needed. The VACMOP seems very well made, like all Shark products. PERFORMANCE / EASE OF USE: One of the problems with OTHER SWIFT mopping products is that the pads get filthy immediately and need to be replaced many times in an average cleaning session. VACMOP has an advantage here in that you can pre-vacuum the hard surface first, and then mop with the same unit. In our master bathroom, (about 8x18) and powder room (6x6) we only needed one pad and probably could have handled 3X the surface area. I did find the liquid spray gets consumed very quickly. Even the “tip sheet” included in the box says to spray heavily for best results. We easily used 2/3 of the included bottle just in this test. (OK maybe we went a little too heavy). I will say it was easy to use, easy to charge, easy to fill, easy to replace pads. PROS: - Easy to use - Built in Light - Lightweight - Easy to maneuver - Very good job mopping - Good enough job pre-vacuuming - Will use fewer pads than other SWIFT cleaning mops CONS: - Does not lay flat (like other shark products) for under counter cleaning - Controls can be confusing as first and are not instantly intuitive - Easy to over-spray (onto walls) - Uses lots of liquid cleaning product - Takes about 4 hours to charge before use SUMMARY: I would recommend this for anyone looking for All-In-One convenience, especially if you don’t already have a hard floor vacuum and or spray mop. This is a great way to get started with both. I do wish it had more suction power, but that is only a minor issue. I expect it will get a lot of use around here. I might even be able to get my adult son living at home to give it a whirl due to ease of use!

Double functionality in one light duty mop/vacuum

The Shark - VACMOP™ Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum with Disposable VACMOP™ Pad is a well built, pretty light weight floor cleaning tool. I've used one of the pads and half the cleaning liquid it came with to clean the hardwood floor in 3 bedrooms, living room, hallway and 12 stairs, as well as the kitchen and bathroom tile floors. You should definitely use the dry vacuuming function first to pick up debris and dust bunnies, cause if you get it wet, it will just move the dirt all around and will not be able to collect it inside the pad plastic compartment. This is by no means a heavy duty vacuum meant to pick up anything major, but it did OK picking up layers of dust, hair, crumbs and other small food particles off the floor. The wet mop function works pretty well, sprays evenly and does not get the floors too wet. The pad glides smoothly across any hard floor surface. The cleaning liquid it came with has a pleasant, light fragrance to it, which didn't stick around as other heavier chemical cleaning solutions may. The built-in LED "headlights" were pretty useful, it made me realize how dusty the floors were, and also worked well under the bed. Overall this VacMop is light weight, easy to maneuver, with a great swivel head that allows you to get to more difficult to reach places. I especially like the charger that easily attaches to the unit with a magnetic plate and the built-in Lithium battery holds charge well, got me through cleaning an entire floor and stairs.

Half a star: It just arrived today. It was already charged to go but I was only able to do the tile floor. When attempting to use on the carpet it lost the charge. I spent the rest of the day recharging and then it still wouldn't pick up on the carpet. I'm returning it.

    It's Time To Dual

Dual action products seem to be the up and coming technological creations lately. "A vacuum? A mop? Why not both?" Shark said. It's a pretty ingenious concept really. I own 5+ Shark products; they're the top of the food chain for cleaning in my opinion. I'm not surprised that they came up with something like this. Testing it out on just general laminate floor cleaning, it does the job and has really good suction. A lot of vacuums have problems with suction even though that's their primary function. This is half of the Shark VACMOP's function and it does it better than 99% of other vacuums that I have owned. I've always been a fan of spray mopping so it's nice that this does both spray mopping and vacuuming! And just to go all fancy on us, it has LED headlights so that you can clean in the dark and a magnetic charger because why not? All in all, this is a solid product that makes me WANT to clean lol. It's fun to use, and it's always fun using new technology that's there to make life easier really.

My wife and I truly love the Shark Vacmop and it has become our new goto tool for our every day cleaning and mopping and when your done just toss the pad away and the best part no more emptying out the dust bin because there isnt one. It's all in the mop pad. All the dirt and debris vacmop picks up gets picked up into a separate compartment on the pad and once your done just toss it out and put on a fresh one. It's as simple as that. The best part its cordless so you can work all around the house, take it up stairs and then down stairs without worrying about the cord. Now we have been able to clean the first floor of the house which is all hardwood on a single charge and even pick up a few crumbs after without any loss of suction. This was definitely a good addition to our shark family.

As a single guy living on my own, I try to keep things pretty neat in my living space. I don’t make too many messes, but I do still have hardwood floors and linoleum bathroom and laundry room flooring that need swept and mopped on a regular basis. This Vacmop is like the ultimate time saver. The vacuum function is quite peppy and makes quick work of stray crumbs and lint. The vacuum is not loud or high-pitched sounding as I expected either. If I had napping kids or babies in another room, I would not be concerned about waking them up with the noise level of this vacmop. The mop function of the included pads is robust and works really well to wipe up muddy boot prints in the laundry room and to cleanup other miscellaneous messes. The vacmop pads are interesting in that they are an all in one disposable dust-bin (for the vacuuming) and mop pad. So essentially, when the dust bin gets full and/or the mop pad gets saturated and dirty, it means it is time to replace the pad. The only concerns I will have in the long term of using this is how affordable the vacmop pads and the mop fluid are as well as how well the rechargeable battery holds up over time. I do prefer the internal rechargeable battery to the batteries you have to replace in a traditional Swiffer mop, though. Overall, for the price and the flexibility and utility of this little vacmop, I am impressed. Definitely a nice tool for cleanup of quick messes or the maintenance of smaller, hard-flooring abodes like my bachelor pad condo!

    Works like a charm!

I bought it for my mom and have used it a bit around the house to show it off. It works like a charm. I really like the light that it has on the end, really helps getting those darker places in the house. Forewarning, it does not function like an actual vacuum! I was under the impression that it worked like a vacuum; hence the name “VacMop.” However, it does not work on carpet (which makes more sense), the vacuum part is a small, yet feisty, suction near the front of the machine that helps pick up small debris so you don’t have to sweep beforehand. Overall I really like the ease of this machine and I think it would be a great addition to my moms cleaning supplies since it is a two-in-one.

If you've ever used one of those mops that you can just take the bottom off of, I always end up with little pieces of dirt in one corner as it doesn't pick it up. This isn't the best vacuum, but as a mop that also happens to vacuum, it works great. The solution you get does a good job cleaning, and the vacuum does pick up little crumbs. So unless you have a huge mess, you can go right to just mopping and skip the sweep or vacuuming before.

I have 4 of the black sharkmops. I had 2 gray ones but the black new lights. I Love this mop so much. I saw in the reviews someone try to use it on carpets. Not sure what kind of crack they’re on is perfect for my tile. My hardwood floors in my luxury vinyl plank the charge only last about 45 minutes. I use mine daily I do quick pick ups with crumbs. I vacuum under my couches. All my floors are hard floors. I love this so much. I bought this as Christmas gifts and thought I gave the best gifts I could ever give. I love it. I got one for my kids dorm room. So excited she can clean so easily and its mopped clean. I have clean dust to cereal to hair and even beads and noodles. It cleans all the dirt tracked in. Even behind toilets.

Good product for wet spill cleanups

Good product for wet spill cleanups. The vacuum is lightweight, maneuverable, has adequate power to capture dust, hair, and smaller debris. The led lights provide illumination when reaching under furniture. The pad is able to reach a few inches below the fridge, oven and slide a foot under sofas to capture additional food crumbs and dust. The solution helps to lift stains off the floor and easily if it's still wet. Dried food stains require repeated passes and might require hand scrub if the stain is old. The pad is good for 2-3 minor cleanups and then needs replacement. The disposable pads can be purchased separately and costs under a dollar each. Again, this vacmop is for light duties and can supplement a regular workhorse vacuum.

I ordered the VacMop because I searched "Steam Mops" and this came up. It's not a Steam mop, don't buy it if you want one. Obviously nothing in the title or description implies steam, but for some reason this appeared in a results page that was otherwise wholly populated by steam mops. I was gonna return it after I realised there was no steam function on it... ...But since I already tried it out, I figured it didn't hurt to use it some more since it was already used. Turns out it's really convenient. I already have a Swiffer and a Dyson so this seems redundant, you'd think. But somehow it isn't. It's wireless which really helps, I discovered that wires and the heavier vacuum is what I dislike about vacuuming. This VacMop is light and it has no wires. It vacuums tight space very well because it's rectangular and scrapes the floor with its swiffer-like pad. It's very good at getting those nooks under furniture or kitchen cabinets. The biggest issues I thought I'd have, the charge -- turns out not an issue at all. It's enough to vacuum most of a 1800sq ft house. I have never tested it to actually vacuum the entire house at once, but it probably will. I've used it for two days without charging. Thirteen minutes sounds like nothing, but I guess when you're vacuuming time moves slower. In any case, this isn't a vacuum replacement in my opinion, you should buy this instead of a Swiffer or some other mop-like implement. That being said, now that I have this I don't use my Dyson as much. Not only that, but now I love cleaning! It's so much easier and anytime I spot some stuff on the floor, I just grab this VacMop and start cleaning. I definitely don't randomly grab my Dyson like this, it's not a casual affair to use the real vacuum. And unlike those portable vacuums, this thing mops as well. I gotta say, not only do I not see myself ever returning this, but I also feel like buying it as a present for others.

Good for a quick small area. Not ideal for a house more for an apartment. Refill for pad and solution can be hard to find. It does not take up a lot of space and is easy to store. Also, note the Vacmop needed to be charged which lasts a long time.

I really liked this mop as it did a great job finishing my floors, however that was also its downfall, it felt like a finishing tool. I bought this more as a little vaccum and definitely more of a mop. I would call it a powerful swiffer wet jet that can vaccum up crumbs into each pad/ there is no filter to empty. In cleaning 600 sq ft of tile, i had to replace the pad everyday which would end up being quite more expensive then just keeping your mop and vaccum seperate. I would only recomend this product if you already have a good vaccum, i ended up returning this product but I would have kept it given I already had a full size working vaccum.

I have 3 kids and a cat. Never had a need for a Vacmop until my 2-year-old came along. Even with constant sweeping, mopping, and our robot vacuums and mops, I couldn't keep up with him. He loves making messes of all kinds, liquids, snacks, you name it. My house was a constant mess. Enter the VacMop. This thing is amazing!! It's quick to charge, easy to use, and it vacuums AND mops. The best part is you can just throw the nasty pad with the crumbs away! No need to empty a container. The pad refills can be pricy, but worth it to me.
