I purchased this television on Black Friday 11/2018 and I enjoy the google play store, options, clarity and the nice design. My 765” television was easy to mount and looks really nice.

    Beautiful Picture, Great Price

3 days and my original review has still not been posted. I am upgrading from a 55" Samsung 4K non HDR. We needed something bigger for our living room. Wife gave a budget of $1000 and it was between this and the LG. This has Dolby Vision whereas the LG does not. This TV is indeed manufactured by Hisense with the Sharp logo branded on it. This may be identical to the Hisense 75" that is currently $899 but I could not find any additional specs on it so I went with the Sharp. There are a total of 3 HDMI ports. 1 supports 4K at 30Hz while the other 2 support 4K at 60Hz. Setup is very easy and straight forward. Took about 15 minutes give or take. The menus are very responsive. The remote controls the volume on my receiver and even turns it on and off with no setup. Nice bonus that I wasn't expecting. The remote is very user friendly and doesn't feel like a cheap remote yet is simple. Once setup and testing image quality with 4K HDR content the image quality is absolutely stunning. Black levels are better than expected. Not as good as OLED/QLED but also not the price. I can't justify spending upwards of 2 grand for that. At this price point I think it is very good. HDR and Dolby Vision content look very good to me. Again this is my first 4K set that has these features so I do not have another one to compare it to and they did not have a display model in the store. I turned the reds up a few notches as I thought they were a little washed out and they look good to me. There are presets for HDR/Dolby Vision as well as a custom setting for each. There are a lot of configuration options for this. I would also suggest setting motion to smooth as it looks very good. I'm an Android man so I love that this has Android TV built in. All kinds of apps to download. After several hours of usage I did notice some back-light bleed. This unit does have screws around the edge of the frame on the back that you can loosen up to try to fix it. You can also use the microfiber cloth method to either massage the areas or lightly tap it. I got the bleed to be very minimal that is only visible on very dark screens. This does have rear facing speakers that you can see pretty clearly thru the back of the TV. The sound is decent for what they are but don't expect anything mind blowing. There are several preset configurations for the sound but they all sounded the same to me. I am using a 7 channel receiver so I have no need for the built ins. Pros: 75" 4K HDR/Dolby Vision for $999. Android TV Lots of adjustable settings Great black levels Great colors User friendly remote Google Assistant Cons: Built in speakers Back light bleed

Great TV, I have had a 55” Sharp Aquos tv for ten years, it still has the best picture to this day. I wanted to get a larger tv for my man cave and place that 55 in our bedroom. I read all the reviews on all the TVs, so I purchased a LG 75” because it had good reviews, after a week having it at home my wife and I were very disappointed in the picture so I returned it and got another name brand with great reviews after a week we returned that one as well! With Both of those TVs the picture quality was very disappointing, especially watching football and basketball. It was almost hard to watch! I just happened to look at Best Buy’s weekly add and saw the 75” Sharp TV. The price was great and I ordered it. Mind you at this point my wife is fed up with me and the TVs. The moment we turned it on and watched the Monday night football game and flipping through other channels we were both very happy with the purchase! It has a great picture, sound is great and the smart tv part of it was very easy to use. Needless to say I will be sticking with Sharp TVs for now on. Love the TV and my wife is finally not upset with me for buying and returning two other TVs ! I would definitely recommend this tv!

    Blacklight bleed kills this thing

Pretty great picture, good deal for the money. However, the backlight bleed is the worst I've ever seen on any TV. Even if you're not sensitive to it, when watching any movie the giant white spots on the outside of the letterboxing is hugely distracting - it's like star gazing in a very bright city. This seems to be a consistent problem with all the units, meaning it's a manufacturing defect. Every time a dark screen shows up, be prepared for tons of white clouds all over. It's bad. REALLY bad. Other than that, great TV. But this critical flaw destroys it.

The positives: - Picture is very bright and clear - Setup was easy - Android TV is "neat"/"ok" - Love the low profile silver bezel - 4K video from YouTube is insanely beautiful. We spent an hour looking through nature videos the first night... Mesmerizing. - The price - $999 on black Friday The negatives: - Not sure why but the apps I use for streaming (Netflix, YouTube, YouTube TV, ESPN) are all laggy when run from native Android TV ecosystem. When I run from Roku - same network, over HDMI - the picture is better and no lag. - The biggest issue is the backlight bleeding. It was minimal when we first turned it on, easily ignored. Over the last few days it has gotten worse. Where it was only noticeable on menus and black blank screens at first, now it's noticeable on everything - streaming, games, etc. I am hoping that this is an isolated case and I can exchange for a better unit but it appears BB is sold out. I hate to say it but If I can't get an exchange, I'm afraid I'll have to return it... Ugh

It's a Hisense product, not name brand

Overall, this TV convinced me I will not be buying a Sharp TV in the future, and makes me suspicious of the quality in other products Sharp makes. After one year of ownership, I'm highly disappointed - I expected better. It's like Hisense got rid of everything great about Sharp, and put their cheap garbage in a box and up-sold it with Sharp's name. It works OK - but it's not very refined. Behind the low quality hardware and misleading advertising comes software that resembles a rough draft pushed into production too soon. As upset as I am that it's already starting to break, I cannot wait for it to finally self destruct so I can replace it with one of Sharp's competitors; and I don't mean Hisense who now owns Sharp. Would I recommend this TV? No - there are better choices. If you are between this TV and another, get the other TV. It works most of the time, but it has too many bad days and it's not going to last as long as it should. Here is the good and bad: Pros: -It actually does up-convert non-4K content very well. Even the picture from the antenna comes out very nicely. -Inexpensive for size and resolution -Styled nicely -Blacks are very deep compared to TVs made 3-5 years prior to this one. Some of the comments I saw were harsh about it's picture, complaining about bleed. There is some, but it's what you would expect from a LED TV. It's not OLED, but for LED the blacks and colors are nice. Cons: -HDMI input 1 failed within the first 7 months. This is absolutely not acceptable. It's not new or unique technology, it should last longer. -Constant sound lag issues, works a bit better in HDMI 2 but caused months of frustration before I tried a different input on the TV. -HDR coding makes the picture terrible - I don't even know why this TV advertises HDR compatibility. Just assume it's not. -Motion Rate 120 does not mean a 120Hz refresh rate, it's actually 60Hz - a deliberate lie to the consumer that is completely unnecessary. -Operating System crashes, reboots, and locks up more often than any other device I have. -No easy way to switch from HDMI input to Antenna and back.

Wow! Screen is big and bright!! Nice picture and for the price you really can't beat it if you are looking for a giant screen. Things that could be better. Refresh rate, it definitely could be better but if you are.truly looking for the best rate u should go with QLED. Remote control, I'm sure this comes as no surprise .companies are saving money giving us these super generic remotes with no lighting with newer 4k tvs.

My 2.5 years old Sony 65 inch LED TV just died and I was in the market to replace that with another Android TV. I'm glad I ran into the Sharp 75 inch ($999). Now that Hisense makes Sharp & apparently it's own brand, I tested both because Hisense 75 inch is also available here for $100 less ($899). They're both identical but I think this Sharp has slightly better sound and definetely better picture quality. So, I went with this Sharp instead & most likely never going to bother with overpriced, unreliable Sony brand anymore.

Great TV for a great price. Picture is better than I expected for the price and HDR works well. I chose this over other TVs because of the built in Android OS. During setup the TV copied my account settings from my phone so pretty painless. Remote is descent but you can also pair your Android phone as well.

After running the gauntlet with multiple Samsung 4ks, a couple of LG 4K sets and one Visio M series 70 inch, I have to say, this is the best screen of them all. I’m not going to comment on the built in speakers, if you have a 75 inch tv and don’t have a separate sound bar or system, there is a problem there. Get one. Awesome picture! Dolby Vision on Netflix looks absolutely perfect! I would recommend this tv!

Ultimately, I returned the TV during the extended holiday return period. The TV was great but the audio would not stay in sync with the video. I got a firmware update from Hisense but it did not help. I gave 3 stars due to having to return it, otherwise it seemed a great TV. The TV speakers had good sound, the picture was amazing. I did not want to return it, but just couldn't keep the audio in sync. The cable box was directly connected to HDMI1. I found that I could simply jump to the settings menu and back to HDMI1 (no settings changes) several times and the audio would come closer to in sync. Could almost get it perfect, until turning the TV off then back on - out of sync again. Best Buy was great about the return. I ordered it online and it was delivered and I took it back to local store myself. I marked would recommend, of course as long as audio is ok. Store didn't have any more so I will wait a bit to get another TV.

I looked at the 75" LG too before purchasing the Sharp...previous reviews made be go with the Sharp. We didint have a fortune to spend on a large TV so this fit the budget. I love the picture quality and really cannot complain about anything. Havent used the Smart features yet as its connected to cable

Great quality picture but the remote is downright stupid. There's no easy way to change inputs without using Google voice. If you have a sound bar, there's no menu setting to turn off the internal speakers - you just turn the volume all the way down. At least the picture quality is really good and it's a 75 inch TV for less than $900.
