We had a 9 year old version of this model that one day failed, that might sound bad but since it is routinely used many times a day in our household, it served us very well. The model we had from another mfg did not last that long. Before buying this model, we reasearched other options, features, reviews etc. Adter seeing some wear issues for comparable models, it was very easy to buy this one again. We prefer a larger higher power model due to all the use it sees, given the level of service we had from the last one, we expect more of the same from this model. Only thing we would like to see that none seems to make is back lit buttons that come on when you touch the controls. That would be nice for our how we use ours.

A very good compact sized microwave, at a very good price. It does everything that a more expensive microwave does! Why pay double or triple the price for a microwave oven that does the same thing!?

We've only had this microwave for a month but so far were liking it. It's quite compared to the last one we owned and only requires one button push for simple jobs. Plenty of power and room.

Easy and intuitive to use. Manual is clear and concise. Love the size, but it does take up a lot of counterspace. Not really happy with the sensor reheat feature. I'm still working with it. You cannot cover the food because it relies on moisture content to sense, therefore the potential for a mess. I find that I end up having to put the food back in on high for a short period to get it to the temp that I want. The defrost works great, as does the potato mode. Love the 30 sec button and easy start time.

Very easy to use and bigger. This model cooks much quicker than the professional series model I previously had from another manufacturer.

Perfect microwave. It is big so need a nice size counter for it. And it’s very very powerful.

Great microwave! It's huge. I love the single touch buttons. We've had it for about a year now, and still works great.

This microwave is a great size, is quiet, and cooks fast. I wish the control pad lit up. It is hard to see at night without the control pad being lit even with my kitchen lights.

I love my new sharp microwave. It is very easy to use. Love the high power on it. The stainless steal is very easy to keep clean. The size makes easy to cook a chicken.

Cooks fast, is relatively quiet, simple to operate, and looks good. I like also that it's tall, so you can see if a tall mug of water is boiling.

Unit is an excellent piece, but feel the 18 year old unit it is replacing was slightly better. That's right, I bought this model because the exact same model I had previously lasted me 18 years. I find the black control panel difficult to read. I do not care for the fast cook minute selection. However, I would have to say that the most annoying item is the fact I can't set the kitchen timer for longer than 59:59... other than those 3 gripes, it is working just as well as the previous unit. Actually think the new unit's sensor cook is a little more accurate.

Very easy to use and lots of room inside. is a very good one for the money. Worth every penny. It works AWESOME one of the best ones that I have ever used. just be careful it is very powerful at 1200 watts. After having and using an old microwave for years, just because it was good enough for what we needed, it's great to have a new one that works for everything else we forgot we needed. Very roomy which is what we love for warming food in large pans and dishes and exactly what we wanted. Just love love love.

Perfect size for a family of 4. Easy to use. Only problem is while cooking food you can’t use the kitchen timer. It is one or the other.

We've only had this microwave for a few weeks, but thus far it has performed flawlessly. Having had two Sharp microwaves in the past that collectively lasted for 25 years, I expect this one to continue to work perfectly for a long, long time. My only quibble is that it is advertised everywhere (not just at Best Buy) as stainless steel, but in reality only the door is stainless. The rest is just metallic silver-colored paint--doesn't look bad, but it's not stainless steel.

Great microwave. It's a large microwave which I can fit everything in it. I've had this microwave for 2 weeks now and I have no complaints. It's a little noisier than my previous microwave but I can live with it. I haven't used all the functions let, but so far so good.

My 14 year old Sharp microwave died and I needed a new microwave. I looked at all the available brands & models and decided I couldn’t find one better than the updated model of my old microwave. It is BIG and takes a lot of counter space but it is a workhorse. If you only use your microwave to warm your coffee this might not be the one for you, but if you use your microwave to prepare all or part of your meals then this is the best. Easy to use with several programmed buttons.

Size, ease to learn how to use are great, as well as the door opening and closed easily. Just wish it wasn't so loud.
