I purchased tjis mobile portable Hotspot device and for the most part I am pleased with the compact size, easy to use 2 button function and readable display. Under $100 portable mobile internet device that is user friendly has been good.

It’s good enough for work. I use this for gaming on the steam deck, I do play all games decently fine. But for most part of hosting the party or the server for a game it will eat up the gigs easily. But yes works absolutely fine and does the job with its 4g at 25-50mps, while my iPhone only have speeds of 15-60kps as a hotspot.

I needed wifi where I was at so I decided to buy this hotspot device. It was easy to set up. Just needed to buy a data plan and boom I had wifi where I was at. Would definitely recommend if anyone needs wifi without the high price tag or wires attached.

This thing came in and saved me after losing internet access following a fire at my home with a landlord that wouldn’t hire an electrician. While it occasionally had its hangups with getting connected to internet, it was very consistent in speed and connection for the most part. Some times the speeds were very bad, sometimes it was hard to get devices connected to it. But the setup, data refills, and overall ease of use made this thing a lifesaver and even handled gaming online. $50 for 40GB sure does add up, though!

Buyers beware…It’s a shame that Best Buy would sell these with expired SIM cards (at least that’s what SimpleMoblie tech support told me). You would need to buy another SIM card from Best Buy for the device to work or SimpleMobile will send you a SIM card for free if you call Tech support. I decided to wait a few days and let them send me a new SIM card. Once it arrived I called tech support again only for them to tell me that the new SIM card is expired and the old one is working fine… I still couldn’t get it to activate. I don’t think these guys know what they are doing and clearly they don’t care cause the new card clearly says on the back to activate that SIM card by 08/09/22. It’s April 2023. Needless to say I’m tossing this thing away and that $50 I’m not getting back.

This thing works remarkably well! I’ve been using it to Stream Netflix to my TV while my Bro is connected as well using it for his Xbox online gaming AND our phones connected as well. You do burn through data pretty quick and it’s more expensive to use than a regular ISP but if you live somewhere there is no IDP available- this is a good option!

Moved, and our new internet installation was delayed. I needed something I could use at home for all my basic work needs, and this works great. Works well for streaming, too. Simple device, easy setup, and does what it needs to do. It was a huge relief to have my own network I could work on securely at home. It'll be nice to be able to take this traveling as well. Would recommend!

The device is mot easy to use. I cant determine what my data balance is!!! Also, does not connect to a cell tower to easily access network and disconnects easily! Battery is very weak too! Needs to constantly be connected to power! Not happy with my purchase!

This is easy to use and set up. FYI: wait until you unpackage the wifi dont, buy a physical card. Setting up is done all online. And unfortunately it only works in major cities.
