Super easy to install - just place it where needed to alarm for water leaks. I placed it in the laundry room next to the washer.

I tried out the water sensor by pouring water on the floor and having it flow into its path. The sensor was triggered instantly and we also received a call from Simplisafe with 30 secs of the sensor going off. I was pleasantly surprised and glad to have these under the dish washer and washing machine.

Replaced a bad water softener, and added this device just in case. Great price, and Easy to install. Just pull out the battery tab and hit button, system recognizes it and simply add it to your security system. No worries if I have a leak or a complete water line breakage simpli-safe will notify me. Silly not to have it.

It was very easy to add around 5 of these to our simplisafe system, which I appreciated. Press a button from the settings areas within the app, name it, and it's ready. Otherwise, we were happy to find a product like this that should help us identify leaks in places like under the sink, dishwasher and an attic (we may not be in very often.) Seems worth it if you like using simplisafe as a smart home alert system as we do.

This is a small but very effective water sensor. If you already have the SimpleSafe this is a must to add it on. It will prevent costly repairs by giving you a warning when a leak is detected. I have several of these setup under the kitchen and laundry sinks, behind the washing machine and under the water heater.

We will see. Haven’t had a leak yet so I don’t know if they work. However, it was just as easy as the other devices to set up. I think it is extremely important to have water detectors as I have had $200,000 worth of damage in the past due to a leaking fitting, and I had a leaking water heater once that was caught with a leak detector. I have leak detectors (some zircon) at my homes. Worth the peace of mind.

Saved us a huge amount of money! It works!!! At first when the alarm sounded I thought something had malfunctioned. It alerted us to water leaking from a pin hole leak in kitchen which quickly reached flooding stage within minutes. Thankfully the alert enabled us to turn our house water off in time to save kitchen from serious damage!

I purchased 2 off these for the SimpliSafe system we have in the house. I hope to never use these as that would indicate a water leak. I placed one under the water heater and the other under the washing machine. Linked right up with the system fairly easy. Buy the way the SimpliSafe alarm system is an excellent choice also. The doorbell camera picture quality is 2nd to none. I have a detached garage with the smoke detector and entry door sensor that works great. The range is around 150ft with no problem.

I bought this for incase my pipes burst, or my water heater started leaking. I was skeptical about it working at first, but I will say it definitely does work. I decided to test it with a cup of water after I connected it to my system. I thought I had put my system in test mode, but quickly found out I hadn't when the monitoring service started calling me as soon as the device triggered. Simply dry the underside of the device very good, and it's ready to use again and again. I feel better knowing I have a better chance at stopping the water damage if something happens, before it gets way too costly.

I already had two of these, one for the laundry room and one for the sump pump, and wanted one more for the water heater. I've heard stories of people saving thousands in repairs because they caught leaks early with the help of these sensors. I don't have personal experience with that but my peace of mind is worth the cost of purchase.

As a homeowner, one of my fears is water leaks. I have had 1 water leak that cost me thousands and took months to completely repair. So when I chose SimpliSafe as my home security system, offering a water sensor for such an inexpensive price was one of the deciding factors. Installing the water sensor is about as easy as it can get. Go to the control pad, select "Add a new device", remove the battery slip and push the button on the sensor. Once it registers (only a few seconds), you can name it and then place it on the floor where you want protection. How does it work? Well, a spilled cup of water in our kitchen immediately set off the water sensor, but mopping the floors and hitting the sensor does not. This is a good thing because an overactive sensor is useless because you can never tell if it is a real alarm. I currently have 4 water sensors installed and have 3 more to add to completely cover my home. The first three have been in the system for about 6 months. The SimpliSafe water sensor is inexpensive compared to other options and works like a charm.

I purchased the SimpliSafe Home Security System and found out that I could link a SimpliSafe Water Sensor to my system. These were easy to set up. I have placed them near my hot water heater, laundry room and under my bathroom and kitchen sinks. These sensors will set off the main alarm base once they detect any water. They offer me additional piece of mind while I am away.

Easy for setup and gives me peace of mind when not home

Great product! Definitely worth the investment. A small yet simple device will save you thousands of dollars in repairs.

To me these are cheap insurance. I put them everywhere. I have them under all my bathroom sinks, under my kitchen sink, in my laundry room, behind my washing machine, by my sump pumps, by my water softener, but a water heater, and by by garage sink. Water damage is not only inconvenient but horribly expensive to repair. Spend a few bucks and protect yourself and save yourself headaches.

Small but mighty alerts to water in the house when you have a leak

As an add on to our simply safe system they provide peace of mind. We had a toilet fail and leak water for an entire day $$$. I was able to find a leak slam but what good is it if you are not home to hear it. If these detect a leak it will notify monitoring system and send alert to my cell. I add 5 of these around every toilet and washing machine and dishwasher.

It was easy to open it up and add it to our existing system. Place it by the water heater so we will be saved from flooding if it fails.
