I bought these during a sale, and for the price I decided to take a shot on them. These are OUTSTANDING headphones! The sound is great, and even though they aren't 5.1 or 7.1 headphones, they do a great job of creating an outstanding sound field! One thing that I was worried about was too much bass. Most headphones mask poor quality by using a lot a bass. This is not the case with these headphones! They have great highs, mids, and lows, with no distortion, and no muffling of sounds. After buying these, I bought another set of the standard Slyr for the Xbox One because we liked them so much!

For the price point of these headsets they have good quality sound and mic works flawlessly, headsets look very good and i like the mic attachment to the controller but don't like that you can't use them for anything other than the Xbox controller unless you purchase and AUX cable separately.

First of all, I really like the look of this pair of headset. They are very comfortable too. However, I expected them to sound a bit better. Not like Bose level, but at least being able to compete with beats. Further more, I can hear some noise when someone is talking on Xbox live. Not sure if there's a problem with the headphones, but I'll keep an eye on this issue. If it doesn't go away, I may exchange for a new one. But for now, I do recommend the product.

For the price, this is a great headset. The sound quality is really good and there is virtually no set-up required. There is a wired connection between the headset and the controller, but there's no issue with that. Provides independent control of voice and game sound, which is a must-have feature. A friend had trouble hearing me, but it's unclear whether it was on his side or mine.

My son loves them. Very clear. Nice design. Shipped fast. Exactly as explained.i would buy another one.

good headset for the xbox one doesn't even fill like ones on your head. Good sound and simple controls

I get on party chat with friends several times a week and the headset that came with the xbox was pretty meh. Picked up these bad boys and been stomping noobs ever since.

I wasn't planning on wasting not more than $40 on headset. But when I saw this headset on sale for $70 and looked futuristic with Halo design, I bought it and no regrets. Works and fits my head perfectly. The volume insert for controller is easy and convenient. Plus on my halo fan, so it perfect with my halo 5 controller.

Does exactly what it says it does. Great sound for online play.

They were very small and the mic was bad. It didn't reach and it was quiet

If you are buying this strictly for the XB1, then the sound is above average and mic comes out far enough, like TB or Astros, to be close to your mouth so you don't have to shout to be heard. The MAJOR draw back for me was you can't use for anything other than XB1 as the cord given is soldered to the adapter. I've contacted the manufacturer but have yet to get a response. Pro: Great sound, good mic sound/length, comfortable, Above average quality compared to most/Feel sturdy (minus ear cups ie cons) Cons: XB1 use only, Noise gate still picks up back ground noise/no foam piece for breathing/fans, cheap fabric, weak pivoting ear cups

After Scullcandy bought Astro they teamed up to make the first scullcandy gaming headset . ITS SMALL my head is small. very comfy/light/cool looks. A must for serious HALO players. My rank in usa/world has increased dramatically to top 3% in world. gamertag ERICAXOXOSTEVE. SEE you on the field

i got this when they first came out i broke them it was my fault but i always get the best buy warranty and got them replace and still like them there comfortable for long period of time
