This is a good video doorbell. Pros: no subscription, I like that it is hardwired, good video quality Cons: can't create zones for motion detection and gets false alerts, no alexa video integration

I purchased and installed the SkyBell HD. Instructions and everything you need (including drill bit and screws and anchors) was included. The SkyBell website and App have very clear and easy "how to"videos. I've only been using it for a few days, but so far very clear picture when someone shows up at my door. Audio seems fair (could be due to my fair wifi network connection). I will probably add a wifi extender simply because my router is not very close to my front door to see if that will improve the audio. However, as it currently stands, I am very satisfied with SkyBell HD.

Granted I just got this today. I was using a August Smart Doorbell before this. This device is leaps and bounds better than the August. ANYONE can set this up in a matter of minutes. It is super easy to install and setup. The video and sound are amazing! Glad I made the switch.

I just installed this and it works great!! Once setup is completed the wireless is invisible so. I one connects to it besides you. Video connects quickly, and you don't have to pay a subscription!

Very helpful especially in this holiday season that we have a lot of packages to be delivered to our house. Even if we’re not home we could communicate to the person outside the house.

The picture quality is excellent. Easy to install and configure. Just save the instructions if you plan on changing your Wi-Fi settings.

I bought this item with great expectations, however it didn't meet them. I had to return it as my existing mechanical doorbell chime kept ringing just after few minutes of hardwiring the skybell. I recommend this to a friend, but cannot guarantee that it works with existing hardware and wiring. GOOD: Good video quality Free cloud recording BAD: Plasticky, doesn't feel worth its price May not work with your existing wiring and mechanical chime I used this product with my existing mechanical doorbell chime, but the doorbell kept ringing continuously just minutes after hard-wiring the SkyBell. When I contacted the customer support, they complained that the doorbell might not be getting enough voltage/power. The house is built less than 3 years ago, and when I used Ring DoorBell with the same hardware and connection, it worked just fine.

Easy to install if you have an existing hard wired door bell. Good picture quality.

Installation was simple. Features are nice. Unlimited cloud access is unparalleled. Only complaint is that the motion detection and subsequent camera recording is laggy. You miss a lot between motion detection and the actual recording. App is nice however and being able to look at a live shot at will is a game changer considering the lack of that ability available from the primary competition.

I am so happy I went with this model, it has an excellent camera with a clear picture. There’s no monthly subscription which is also a plus!

I love this doorbell. It has been very helpful while away from home as I can let people at home know if there is a package or ask the delivery person to leave the package next door or behind the shrubs. The video is good but a little touchy. Sometimes it will go off with a car driving by in the street. All in all, I would recommend this product.

I waited 8 months to write this review about the skybell. I wanted to make sure it worked before I gave it any kind of review. So far I have been very happy with it. It's awesome to know who is at your door when your not home. It does have a delay but I believe it's still worth it. The picture quality is outstanding. Not bad of an investment!

This product has by far exceeded my expecations, From a simple installation to configuration and use. I can be confident that I can know what happens outside my front door. If I have to say anything negative, it is only too sensitive, sometimes light changes trigger movement detenction, however, I prefer this as opposed to not detecting anything.

The Skybell HD is a good product but definitely could be better. As stated in other reviews, there is a lag in receiving notifications. I am also disappointed in the motion sensor, as it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. I've adjusted the motion sensor settings & still there are times it misses people at my door before they push the button. Hope the company works to improve that feature.

Love the video quality and the notifications given from the motion detection!

I bought this for my mother as a gift since she recently moved. She loves it and likes that she could record suspicions activities and show it to management. I like knowing that she is safe. The camera also views the parking lot in front of her apartment which is an added plus. She can check on her car and also see what's going on when she is at work.

So far, the camera is great. The motion sensor could be better. The push button, cloud footage, phone app and features are great. This skybell will pay for itself since there isn't any monthly cloud fees. I got the warranty in case.

Very easy installation, and easy WiFi setup, had it all working in 10 minutes. Great video quality and the app is perfect for when you're not home.

I've had packages stolen from my front door so I thought this could help me. The motion detection is horrible in all sensitivity settings. It may only start recording when someone is already walking away from my door , so I can't tell who walked up. Live feed is horrible . My wifi is excellent and it still only connects about 10% of the time. The only good thing is that it records when the button is pressed, and the speaker is loud, but that doesn't help me with my initial reason for buying this product. Took it back, bought the Ring Video Doorbell Pro, and I couldn't be happier with that replacement.
