Simply the best! I'm a guy, and I have been using lasers for hair removal since their existence. This, so far, is the safest one and most influential of all. The technology for analyzing your face is A must for people that don't know how to adjust the power. It does it automatically. w or work on my thick beard hair. I love it!

So far so good. I’ve been using it for about 1 month and I can see a lot of difference. Very easy to use with obvious results. I was not sure which brand to choose and I’m glad I picked this one.

Laser hair removal at a pro is EXPENSIVE. Much more expensive than this product, so my review reflects that! It’s a good value when compared to a series of treatments which can cost over a grand. Really well packaged and very easy to read instructions. It was not hard to get started at all. Very easy to use and definitely premium. The build quality seems fairly good, but not BIFL good. I expect this to last 5 years or longer if I should choose to use it that long. Read the manual fully when you get this. It’s important to know all of the caveats and limitations. It stings a bit when you use it so be prepared when you use it on sensitive areas. (underarm, bikini line, behind knee, or inner thigh). It is the level of someone flicking you with their finger pretty hard or small needle pricks. It’s more of a hmmm moment than an “ouch” moment, but it’s there so be ready for it. I think it’s worth it for the effectiveness of the product. I did a sample on the back of my hand (included in my pictures). The skin there is smooth and doesn’t seem to show any growth reappearing. I’ve only had it for two weeks so this is a promising result! I would add results in other places, but then my review would not be family friendly. When the light goes off, don’t look at it! It’s hard not to and that’s not something that is the fault of the product. One time is all you need to know that you shouldn’t be looking at it. DEFINITELY don’t look at it directly pointed at your eyes. Not something I would trust with kids, but then… what would kids be doing with a product like this? If you’re one that would consider laser hair removal, this is a good substitute which is vastly less than a professional treatment. It definitely is less easy than a pro set of treatments… you just need some time and of course, there’s no tech doing the job for you. My skin is light olive with dark hair which worked great. On my wife who is much lighter with dark hair, it worked even better. I don’t think this would work as well with lighter hair. There was one area on me that didn’t agree with the treatment (sensitive). I think it’s a good idea to do a test if you are especially sensitive and that’s the area you want to treat. You’ll know within 24 hours if it’s a good thing for your skin. You’re not going to see the results right away, so I also suggest taking pictures, giving it some time and, keeping up with the treatments. Bottom line: this is not a fake product, it DOES have results and is worth the money if your skin can take it. In the manual it suggests that you’ll be doing touch ups so it’s not a one-shot. I recommend the SmoothSkin Pure FIT!

So for a product marketed towards woman (This is literally in "Women's hair removal" on the site) - I'll be the GUY that went ahead and used this for review and will continue to use it ! But Why ? The answer is simple - Ingrown Hairs ! Is your hair mildly curly ? Do you get endless collar rash from collared shirts? THIS IS YOUR FIX. No more ingrown hairs on the lower neckline from shaving or on the back of your neck and upper back. I have extremely sensative skin and slightly curly hair. This is a very bad combination for shaving. So much so that shaving with blade is pretty much out of the question. I can shave with an electic razor but I have to often skip days to avoid severe irritation. This is especially pronounced on myself (and many others) on my lower neck line. I've debated laser treatments and electrolysis for this but the pure costs of repeated sessions have always kept me away. This device costs about the same as one or two of those treatments but delivered 100% of the results I wanted by the 5th and 6th week. It's now week 8 and there are only a few stray / fine hairs growing on my extreme lower neck. So it works BRILLIANTLY - even though I don't have hair all over I desire to remove - It's nice to know that it works and I could. If you take a look at the pic attached to my review, I have marked the start line to where I have been treating. Red+Blue = 6-7 treatments, Blue only = 2 passes. Prior to this treatment, the "5 O-Clock shadow" you see on the side of my cheek and under would extend all the way down to my shirt collar area. The irritated ingrown hair spots are 95% gone already ! - The few red splotches in the area I have treated were pre-existing spots which have now almost completely healed. Oh and for Women ? - Well, I asked my wife to try this in one area for 12 treatments - My wife would like everyone to know her armpit hair is basically GONE in 8 treatments. A few tips for use - Permanent hair reduction = Permanent ! The instructions say to shave prior to use, I would recommend shaving with a blade versus an electric shaver for a closer shave. Use as instructed - ONCE a week for 12 weeks. Using it more often will not increase effectiveness. What I love: Includes a thorough explanantion and manual Delivers results in a few treatments, in 6 treatments very little re-growth Not so great: Occasionally refuses to fire / sensor error ( even when pigment scale is in middle )

The excitement i had when receiving the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair removal system was unreal! I was so excited to start using this in hopes that it would help with my unwanted embarrassing hair growth. I do want to say that it is very importsnt that you read the instructions thoroughly prior to your first use as this in not a daily treatment and it only works for certain skin tones. The device has some weight to it but i was okay with this. Upon my first treatment i learned quickly how to hold and how to maneuver it around areas such as knees and ankles. Over the last 6 weeks i have used it once a week. I will say after 2 weeks of using i noticed results in the amount of hair growing back slower than normal. For some context, i am very self conscious due to facial hair growth from PCOS. I have dealt with unwanted facial hair growth from my mid 20s and im now 34. I have always been embarrassed of it and too embarrased to speak to a doctor about it. I would have to shave my face daily due to the fast hair growth. So yes i used this on my chin, under chin, and side of face as well as my arm pits, lower legs, upper legs and bikini area. It advises you to not use it on sensitive areas of your body but my body and skin was able to handle the areas that i listed. The device is very simple to use. You plug it in, place it on your body and watch the lights light up on it telling you it has recognized the skin area, then you press the button. Its quick easy and works! I will say that i had no reaction over 6 weeks, no redness, and nothing but a great experience. When you press the button you do feel it. It feels like a quick burn or sting that goes away in seconds. The results i had were absolutely amazing. Less hair growth, shave once a week instead of daily, and just overall its working for me and has allowed me to gain my confidence back and feel good about myself. Let's face it, I hate taking the time to shave especially since my hairs are dark and stand out after 2 days. I'm sure that if you've found your way to this product page, you have a similar opinion. SmoothSkin stated that results could take 4-6 weeks to appear, so I only tested the product on a portion of my right leg in order to not really take the time to flash everywhere each week if it wasn't going to work for me. Now I wish I would have started everything from the beginning because it's working! I started to notice results in the 5th week and now 6th weeks in is even better. It's been a week since I shaved the test area and it's just beginning to be stubby with a few patches of full grows where I must have missed a few spots. The device is easy to use, but be sure to read all instructions before use. I began doing the rest of my leg this morning, the regular power setting does tinge a little though it isn't painful except around sensitive areas like the inner thigh. There is a lighter power setting that can be used for those types of areas so that it isn't painful. You must shave prior to use then you just glide the device over the skin and flash the areas you don't want hair. Repeat each week and see the results! My goal going into this was to reduce the need to shave from 2-3 times per week to once a week or even every other week, the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL looks like it is going to help me achieve that goal. I can't wait to see what 12 weeks of treatment will do.

Most cost effective on the market product that is very easy to use with some minimal prep requirements and area testing to determine if your body is not light sensitive to pulses the Smoothskin uses. Areas with high amounts of hair will need to be shaved clean prior to use. At times, depending on how dark hair areas may be, there may be some low-pain associated. After the first use, it was noticeable the hair growth had changed in the various areas tested. While it has only been 6 weeks using this product, the company does suggest using it longer to see more long-term results. Throughout the first four weeks, it was upkeep of the areas tested with noticeable changes. Length of time it lasts will vary depending on the individual’s hair growth. The initial shave is designed to create a smooth, clean area, for beginning the treatments on the areas, it is upkeep to prevent the hair from returning and falling from the follicles. The smaller tip is primarily used for areas of the body requiring a more precise target and control. One thing to note, if the machine is not working, you must ensure there is proper skin contact; without this, it will not work. Be sure your skin is dry, possibly wait 10-15 minutes after a shower and shave to allow your skin to air dry before self treatment. Time does vary and will take longer to perform the first treatment as you get to know the machine and then reduces as you continue to use it more and more. It will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete all of the major areas of your body. Current plan is to continue using this on a regulay basis to maintain and shave only when absolutely necessary. Highly recommend for self or that special someone.

I became interested in this product to be able to achieve smooth hairless skin without the hassle of having to shave everyday. Upon receiving, I read the instructions very carefully; and I will emphasis please read the instructions thoroughly so that you can gain a full understanding on how to properly utilize the product! I used it once a week as indicated I ensured to shave and clean the areas I worked on which was my face, arm pits, and legs. The device is fairly simple to use on your desired areas; only thing that I found a little bit too much for me was the bright light that flashes when I am using it. Also, it will acknowledge when it detects the skin to treat; therefore, it will not treat the area without detecting your skin. I like that it has different settings such as power mode, speed mode, and gentle mode. These settings are great because they help you see which will custom to you depending on the areas you are treating. The power and speed mode are the stronger settings which help treat the areas better. I have been using this product once a week for 6 weeks now; and it works I have seen significant results. You just have to put in the time and effort to gain the results! If you are looking to reduce your hair growth whether it's facial or body and you want to be relieved of having to shave or wax this is the perfect device for you!

I received the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal System in Black. The IPL has a very nice sleek design, seems to be very well made and durable. It is not an immediate fix for hair removal, there is a bit to learn before using successfully and takes up to 12 weeks to see results, so make sure you read the manual as it does have a lot of Do Not's and it's important to know it's not for every skin type nor is it a permanent fix, you will have to do it occasionally to maintain. It has 3 comfort modes, and an attachment for more precise areas of hair removal such as your lip area. The flash is really bright, so you'll want to wear sunglasses or glance away as to not look directly at the flash. The sensation isn't necessarily painful but it isn't that comfortable either, like needle pricks. I would say that it's a mild discomfort. If you have sensitive skin, it may be a bit more painful. I suggest to test a small area and wait 24 hours before continuing to make sure your skin doesn't have an adverse reaction.

First time using it I was frustrated to the point of not wanting to keep using it. Then after a few weeks, I could tell I had less hair growth, so I kept at it. After the six week mark, after my latest treatment, I had many red itchy bumps (some super itchy) on my legs that didn’t go away for over a week, so I guess I need to talk with my medical provider before continuing its use. It has learning curve. It has to read your skin before it will work, and if sometimes it decided it either couldn’t read my skin tone or maybe it was shadowed?, so I had to place it somewhere on my thigh to get it to read me again. I’m fair-skinned (so it’s not an issue of being on the border for the skin tones this device will do). I had the most difficult time getting it to work in the area where my inner leg meets the body. I wish I could control the level of intensity other than on or feather. The flash is BRIGHT, so you can’t look at what you’re doing really and other people won’t want to be in the same room as you (or they’ll have to shield their eyes if they are in the same room). I did this while watching TV and my husband was annoyed at having to shield his eyes from the flash. I couldn’t use this all over at once - I had to take breaks and unplug the device and let it cool off. It just got too hot to the touch to place against my skin. That said, you can do a leg pretty quickly with this, just listen for the flash and work from that. I found that the little attachment for small areas was good for under my arms, but that does slow the hair removal in terms of how long it will take for effects to be noticed. The little piece didn’t always like to stay attached, but it’s fairly simple to place it back on when it jiggles loose. I like that it’s a plug in device, as you don’t have to worry about charging it before use, you can just pull it out and start using it whenever. I was ready to rate this at 2 stars because of the BRIGHT flash, the overly hot tip causing me to take breaks, and limited options for the intensity, but having hair removal results this quickly bumps it up to a three for me. If you don’t mind these things, the easier to treat areas on my legs are already way down on hair growth.

I was a little skeptical about the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal System, as a hairy guy I was getting tired of constantly having to shave my shoulders and back and would this product actually work for me? Did it ever work, as someone with dark black hairs on my back and shoulders the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal System did the trick. Before going further, I must say to read the instructions thoroughly on this product because it is not for every person, in that it only works on certain skin types and certain areas on your body so I can not stress enough to read the instruction manual before using this product because you could have some issues. Also it doesn't work on certain hairs such as blonde hair, where I have a mixture of blond and black hairs but this product did the trick in getting rid of those black hairs. So you first want to shave the area of skin you want to use the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal System on ( I recommend wearing sunglasses as the light that it emits is very bright and can be harmful to your eyes if you look directly into it) then there are 3 settings you can use, Power Mode, speed mode and Gentle mode. I used a mixture between the power mode which uses the highest energy for dense areas and then the speed mode to cover more area such as my back ( with the help from my girlfriend). One way to know that it's working is that you will get that smell of burnt hair and your skin will become a little red and maybe sensitive right after treatment, so I highly recommend using some moisturizer afterwards to help with any potential soreness or irritation. So after your first treatment you want to do it again after 7 days to follow up and keep following up over a 6 week period. I noticed a significant reduction in hair and my skin was way more smooth on my back after four treatments. So in summary if you're like me and fed up with constantly having to shave annoying areas of your body I would highly recommend looking into the SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal System.

This SmoothSkin Pure Fit IPL Hair Removal System works just like it says it does. I used it on myself and my aunt for a full 6 weeks, plus a 24 hour patch testing, and I was very pleased with the results. The very first time I used it, I had it on full power, which is Power Mode, and it burned and hurt more than I cared for it to. The remainder of the times, and on my aunt, I used the Gentle Mode. There is also a Speed Mode. Speed Mode is for larger areas that you can get done faster and it’s also what mode you use for maintaining the hair removal. The Power Mode is too much for me. I keep it on Gentle Mode, because it’s comfortable and still works great. The hair remover comes with a little attachment that allows you to reach smaller areas, like upper lip and chin. Just don’t look into the light. The lights on both sides are specifically the Power Bars. The blue light in the treatment window is for the skin tone sensor. You also have a mode button, power button, and the activation button. When the blue light is not on, or the power lights are red, the device is not ready. If you follow the directions, it’s simple to use and works great.

Super easy to use, very effective, not painful at all. And for the cost you can’t beat the savings of not buying razors and wax services

I had to play with the unit a few times to get the best results. I didnt realize the speed setting, for me, provided the least strength, the gentle mode provided the medium stregnth and the regular mode was the strongest and ouch BUT worth it. Even though it was a bit painful it doesnt hurt half as much as the epilator. The other thing i noticed was that it didn't work in every socket. I thought it was broken at 1st then decided to try other sockets and i must have a few GFI sockets I wasn't aware were. The one thing that does help is to SHAVE 1st, even if its a quick electric razor to your legs / arms. I personally wouldnt use on my face / arms but legs, arm pits and a few other spots sure. I was indecisive about the purchase but so gar glad I did. If you can afford it then its worth a try. I will update IF i have a future issue.

The SmoothSkin pure fit IPL hair removal system in black is a real game changer for in home hair removal. It is comes in a very nice boxed presentation in case you want to give it as a gift. I am laughing because would that be an insult to give this to someone, I do not think so if they ask for it as a gift. At any rate, the manufacturer produces and sends with the box contents a very thorough user guide that helps one figure out how to make sure that their skin tone works with the system. There are a couple of different ways to engage the laser light hair removal system. I personally like the button that allows for a continuous triggering of light to fry the hair follicles along the areas that you wish to remove hair from. The thing that I really like this time is that it came with an end cap that really helps target and minimize the light for smaller areas such as over the lip and facial hairs in tighter areas, plus under arm. I want to remind people reading this review that this is hair removal is not only for ladies but also men who have unwanted hair on their backs, their chests, etc. So, this is at least a 6 week process and commitment which also requires maintenance every so many weeks as hair tries to grow back. The user must first remove hair from the areas that are to be treated by either shaving, waxing, or tweezing. That gets the area as smooth as possible and then by doing a weekly treatment with the IPL, you gradually kill the hair follicle and thus, stop hair growth. However, those pesky follicles can come back so that is why a maintenance program is recommended. Clearly, it will not be a s much or as aggressive hair growth as in the beginning of the process, but there will be some regrowth and you tackle that as is necessary. I definitely love this model with the new end cap that allows you to target stubborn and smaller areas.

Easy to use. Relatively painless; just some discomfort. Can’t tell yet if results will be promising.
