It’s good for a small space with not too much snowfall but I think you’d find it difficult to do your whole driveway. I do the like wireless option and it’s pretty compact.

It works but if snow is out in your sidewalk for a few days the 24volts,works but at the same time i think,if i can up grade the 24 volts to a 40 volts,it will be better,i don't know if 20 volts battery works in a 24 volts unit.

6 inches of snow in massachusetts

We got 6 inches of snow that started at 7pm the day prior and went until 7-8am. I started at around 11pm and used only the electric shovel. It wasnt light fluffy snow it was heavy wet snow but not slush. I was worried but wow this thing blew me away. It literally took me no more than 15 mins to finish my walkway. With a traditional shovel it would have taken me at least 45 mins. Not to mention I struggle with joint pain. This made it so much easier to do the job. I even used it on the stairs. The best way to use this is not to just push it in a single path because it does get jammed. The best way to use this is to take the snow off in layers or to clear out a small path first and then use half of the shovels blade to chip away a path so the shovel doesn’t get jammed. Thing worked like a charm. After the job i used the regular hand shovel to get the last bit of snow and put salt down. I love this tool and now i dont dred when it snows. By back has been saved haha. I will mention the only thing i didnt like was the hand grip that you attach. Its ok but does move when applying force. But thats the only complaint and its very minor and shouldnt make you skip this product

My husband loves his Snow Joe! He raves about it being so easy to use and how well it works on all kinds of snow. Light, heavy, wet, it works great on all types. He says he has never had it so easy shoveling the sidewalk, driveway and deck. The battery lasts at least 80 minutes and because the Snow Joe is lightweight and small, storage is a breeze.

Well worth the investment. Have used this twice now to clear wet heavy snow (6" one storm and over 12" second storm) from driveway and deck. Yes I does clear wet heavy snow and can be used on snow over 6 inches but you need to do 2 -3 passes working your way down to the ground level. It is a tad heavy so it is still a work out (think vacuuming with a 15 pound weighted hose) but soooo much easier on the back than using an old school shovel. Battery lasted longer than expected on one charge (would recommend getting 2 batteries to always have one fully charged on hand). Only complaint = there is no way to angle the "blow-out", it always blows directly in front of you - but it does shoot it rather far and high, so that's a bonus (except for tight spaces), so you need to think about how you're aiming the shovel to work efficiently. If this had an angled and/or movable spout this would be a 5 star purchase.

    First snow blower

My husband loooooves this snow joe blower. It’s easy to use and light weight. We bought it for the deck, making a pathway for our dogs and walkways. We have a pretty long driveway that we usually shovel and while this doesn’t compare to a large snowblower, it sure does beat shoveling. Super handy and doesn’t take up much space to store it. Fabulous!!

Charged fast and makes snow easy to mive and much faster than a shovel. I wish you could aim the snow a little more as i kept getting hit in the face when gusts of wind happened. Dont try to use it on ice as pieces are plastic and watch out for sticks as they might get jammed. But otherwise for a 3 inches or less it is amazing

Our new snow jo shovel is fantastic we r in our late sixtys going on 70 and it took us 45 minutes to shovel our walk way and steps. With the joe snow shovel it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes at the most. We are glad we bought the snow shovel everyone should buy one you will be surprised how easy and light the shovel is no exaustion at all. I recomend it to everyone.

What a surprise! My expectations were not high because of the low price. But this little shovel quickly clears our entire walkway from the back door to the front of our property where it meets the road. It still has enough power to clear around our front entrance and parked cars., all on one charge.! We use it when the snow is fresh and light. I don’t think it would be as good with heavy, dense, icy selttled snow.

I went in to this knowing it wouldn't replace my snowblower but it ended up doing just that when my snowblower wouldn't start. We had 2-3 inches of heavy wet snow and it would have been back breaking to shovel by hand. This thing just tossed it off the driveway onto the lawn. I did have to stop 2/3 through and recharge the battery for a while, but I was impressed it even did that much of the heavy snow. It isn't the neatest device as some of the snow will get thrown over where you already went. And it doesn't scrape clean to the pavement but the little that is left behind could easily be cleaned up by hand. Later we got very light fluffy snow and this thing was useless. No matter which direction I went or how I angle it, it tossed the snow too high and the wind caught it and sent it where I didn't want it. I'm still glad I bought it but it's only one of many tools I use for snow removal. It won't do it all. Also, I got it on a pretty significant sale ($119). I'm not sure I'd pay much more than that for it.

Easy to use. Doesn’t work on really wet and deep snow, but is perfect for 2-3 inches keeping porch and driveways clear. Beats shoveling with snow shovel.

shipping was excellent. Assembly was straight foreward despite some difficulty getting the handle tubes to fit over the somewhat excessive length of the power wire. actual use of it was simple and excellent.

We love this. I bought it for myself, my husband enjoys it more then me. Doesn’t matter if it’s wet heavy slushy snow or fluffy powder. Everyone said it’s for places in the city with pavement, WRONG I live out in the boonies and it did just fine even ate a tree branch by accident. We got over 3 feet of snow and it wasn’t a problem getting to the vehicles it loved it! Every person needs one. Doesn’t hurt your back and it’s kinda fun!

This mini shovel/snow blower moves more snow than one might think. Five inches of wet snow moved quickly and with little effort. I'm familar with the Joe brand as I have a leaf blower and string trimmer so I'm not surprised that it delivers. THe only thing I would change is my own decision to go with startionary cowling that directs the snow in front of the scoop. There is a model that includes a pivotal cowling to direct the snow left, right or center. My bad!

Great value for the money. works VERY well on heavy wet snow that clogs up my full size snowblower. great for decks, small sidewalks, and steps. haven't tested a full to dead battery, but for the small jobs I use it for, it's had no problem lasting. not as much power as the larger electric shovels, but realistically anything bigger is what I have my gas snowblower for.
