    Got new computer but some features of old printer wouldn't work. Technician quickly found a fix and all is working now.

    Geek Squad Got My Old Printer Back Online Quickly

    Deeraj helped me get an old printer back online today. He is an awesome tech support person. He is patient, calm, articulate, efficient, thorough and technically top-notch. Not only did Deeraj get my printer back online quickly, but he also explained clearly and simply what was done to solve the problem, and adjusted my Windows Update options to prevent the problem from occuring after future WIndows updates. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

    3 hours later and 40$ shorter. 7-10 for the refund

    spent 1 hour getting through to support, i specifically told them a game kept crashing. 40 minutes later i get an email saying its fixed. it was not, nothing had changed nor did he check if his "fix" worked. 1 hour later getting in touch with another call center that i could barely understand to get a refund. 7 -10 business days to get my money back. i have never left a review but the service was so bad i feel like i needed to.

    Geek Squad, Broke my system and shut down my internet browser so I could not use my computer. it started through their online support. I actually went through 5 agent over the course of 24 hours of whom I have their names, After the forth Agent (Agent Syed) disconnected me from there server and left a email message stating that we had gotten disconnected by the internet ( I watched him push the button to close out the chat and reboot my system. in doing so he deleted my browser .exe files. I tried to contact Geek Squad by phone again and was passed around for about an hour. finally I was again transferred to Tech support and was told he (Agent David C) couldn't get someone out to my home to fix my system until Feb 1 2022 because without access to my browser he could not fix the issue we tried his way to get the browser up for about an hour he could not get the application to work . I had to figured out how to get my bowser back up and running myself and gave him access to my system again and he installed a different browser (complete waste of time since I had already installed a browser). Most of these Agents Don't seem to have a A+ Certification so there skills or below unsatisfactory. I have bee a member of Geek Squad for over 8 years I believe and since BestBuy started sending calls to over-seas technicians the service is horrible. I want my money back the service is not worth it, and because of the language barrier totally frustrating. The Agent is reading from a script and all the trouble shooting is done through script files. Not a replacement for a person with some computer knowledge and trouble shooting skills. I understand that BestBuy is probably farming out their Tech support to save money but the consumer is getting very poor service. I have tried to get a phone number for someone to refund all my money because the service is horrible no one at the stores I called would give me a number or any contact information. Really poor service BestBuy you just lost a really good customer! If I could give customer service half a star I would

    Waste of time and money

    They are worthless. I purchased a service plan with my laptop computer, including Microsoft 365 for up to 5 devices. I could not get MS to load on my desktop. I called GeekSquad who then said it wasn't the software but the computer. They charged $39.99 to fix it and promised there would be no charge if they couldn't fix the problem. After two hours they had quit remote access, had not installed the software and still charged my credit card. If you have basic computer knowledge you don't need their service plan or their help. They don't have any skills beyond the average person. Now I am playing phone tag trying to get a refund. They claimed they cannot find the service order number in their system despite the fact that I have receipts and an order number to prove it. Then they saw order but claimed it was solved. When they took control of the computer and verified it wasn't fixed, they sent me to billing for the refund. Billing said they couldn't process the refund and sent me back to computer services. It has been hours of run around for nothing. What a giant waste of time and money! Go local to a specialty shop where they actually know what they are doing and won't rob you.

    The agent was unable to resolve my issue of being blocked on a website I need for work. I did, however find someone at Cox and they were able to fix the issue. You did refund my money since they could not resove the issue, and for that I am very grateful. I appreciate a company with excellent customer service, and you definitely did your best.

    The agent was not very thorough in investigating my computer issue. He seemed to be in a hurry, did not sound very empathetic about my concerns. My daughter was able to fix the issue instead.

    I was on the phone for 21/2 hr was told it would be fixed in 48-72 hr and nothing happened Called back after 72 hr and it was fixed in 1/2 hr

    The two agents corrected important functions on the new desktop. A huge improvement, although there are still functions that are not working on Windows 11. Will keep working on it. The agents were very helpful and considerate and patient. Thank you.

    Excellent remote experience for Lenovo PC

    I had to speak to three different tech support members to resolve my issue but it was resolved within the day and my experience with each and every one of the support members was amazing. I've already told my friend who is having computer problems. It's so convenient to do this remotely. And you can have the conversation in real time while they're troubleshooting. Much prefer this to drop off service. Thanks Geek Squad
