I love my Solo Stove. This transformered my summer routine. It's not just a fire pit, it's a Solo Stove. The smokeless technology is awesome. It takes a second for the magic to start working as it warms up but once it gets going it's incredible how well the smokeless technology works. Now I know why Snoop went smokeless. We used it all Summer and Fall and is a great way to unwind after the workday, and even better way to hangout and connect with the family on a Friday night. The only reason a phone is in sight is to control the Bluetooth speaker. I would sum up my review saying that in a busy world the Solo Stove is my favorite way to Disconnect and Connect. Disconnect from all the distractions in life, and connect with the people I love. Highly recommended.

I have so many things to say about this fire pit. Firstly, this is the 2.0 version, despite it not being listed as such other than the product model name. It's super easy to light with some kindling, so you don't need to add much. The ashes catch well, and the wood burns so completely. We did about 50 lbs of wood in one sitting, and did not need to empty it. This was about 7 hours of burntime. It burns much faster than average, likely due to the airflow, and this is apparent with the heat it puts out when combined with the deflector dish. It cleans up easy with a paper towel when storing, and the design is excellent. I contemplated removing one star because although we did not use any accelerants to start or water to douse, it had some rust on the ash grill after the first use. It mostly scraped off, but I am worried about the longevity if rust appeared that quickly. Corrosion is not a good sign. We will be contacting Solo regarding this, and see what the cost is to replace that piece of the fire pit if it does begin to deteriorate. Overall, great pit. Just be sure to have an axe or chainsaw ready, as the wood you would normally purchase is going to be slightly too long to place below the afterburner holes.

Great for a small fire in your porch or to take camping. Really puts out the heat.

Cost enought for me to try to take care of with a good cover, and it has been great for marshmallows and hotdogs. It is a bit too hot to grill when it is up to operating temperature. So supper on a stick works. There is a elevated grill attachment that I haven't tried.
