Great sounding, easy to use and setup. We have our whole house on various sonos products and have loved every one of them. Seamless and easy to setup and use.

Shortly after we purchased (and were blown away by) the Sonos Play 5 we picked up the Sonos Connect which allows us to play the same music inside and out during parties. The Sonos Play 5 is outside on the back patio and the Connect is inside, connected to our Bose surround sound system. It's so great to be surrounded by the same music everywhere, in and out! The Connect is super easy to set up, once connected to your wifi it practically sets itself up. I can't recommend the Sonos products enough. If you love music and appreciate great sound quality, this is the system for you!

I bought this Sonos Connect as my first Sonos product and have been completely happy with my purchase. The Sonos app is great and the integration it has with the various music services is awesome.
For example, we can add both mine and wife's Spotify accounts so we can both play our own music in the system. Also, the app allows you to manage your playlists for Spotify, rate songs with Pandora and easily manage your favorites for easy one touch access. It's definitely not just a player, but also allows you to manage your music from one app.
I was a little skeptical about the price when diving into the Sonos ecosystem, but after having it for about a month now I understand the cost. The system just works, really well, and so to get that quality I understand the higher cost of the products. It works so well I've already added a Sonos Play 1 with plans to get more Sonos speakers throughout the house.

The Sonos Connect worked exactly as advertised and allowed me to wirelessly stream music to my existing analog speakers through my receiver/amplifier. The only problem was coordinating the volume control between the Sonos Connect and the receiver/amplifier.

The setup for the Sonos Connect to an older stereo is simple. You just need two RCA cables to connect from the Sonos analog In/Out to an open port in the back of the stereo (in my case, Tape 1). Done!

The only home audio solution that works

I've spent year trying different home audio solutions to get audio to multiple speakers. I've tried AirPlay (great, if and when it works, but MUST be powered by computer to get multiple locations), Chromecast Audio (no end of problems and limited audio source suppoert). Sonos is the first one that works the first time, every time, and allows me to connect every type of audio source: Pandora, Spotify, iTunes music, my local network music server. The only bad thing about Sonos is that it works so well that you end up buying more.

The Sonos Connect is living up to its reputation in my newly remodeled home. I have it in the closet of the guest bedroom and hard wired with channel switcher to speakers throughout the house. Anyone in the family can stream their music from their phone (one at a time of course). Phone calls and notification sounds don't block the sound. Range is fantastic on all 3 floors. Love the connection to Pandora and iTunes! My two nitpick a are with regard to Apple integration. 1. We have iTunes Match which allows for streaming of our entire iTunes library without having to download it to the phone, the only music however that Sonos recognizes are the songs that have been downloaded to the phone. 2. Apple Music (Apple's new subscription music service) currently does not work directly with Sonos Connect. I heard there was a work around by connecting it through Apple TV.

There was an order backlog on the Connect:Amp, so I purchased the Connect and tied it to a standard stereo amp to power four (non-Sonos) outdoor speakers for pool/patio area. Easy as pie to integrate into my existing Sonos system. I'm hooked on Sonos!

We had purchased the Sonos Play 3 speaker and bridge previously and have been very happy with it. Based on that experience, we got the connect to hook up to the main stereo to provide streaming music options - mainly to the speakers on our patio. Now we turn the stereo on, switch it to Sonos and can just sit on the patio and control the music we hear. It is so much better than streaming just iTunes or just a music channel from cable - now if something come up we don't want to hear it is a snap to change! We're already saving to get the Sound Bar next so we can get rid of the cheap one we're using now.

Bought this Sonos Connect to link my 2-year old receiver/home theater setup with a couple of Sonos Play speakers. Easy setup and Sonos app is great. Pandora and XM on all the time. Super Bowl will be broadcast throughout the whole. Terrific for parties.

This component of the Sonos Speaker/Sound system is a must. It turns any location of a Sonos Speaker into a component of your existing stereo. You must still turn the stereo on independently but allows the system to have the auxiliary source function, as well as the online streaming music from Pandora/Slacker, etc.

Really like the flexibility the Sonos Connect added to the whole house audio system. It pairs up seamlessly with the Sonos Soundbar we already had. I would recommend this line products to anyone looking to enhance a whole house audio system.

I use the connect to both put music on my stereo system and take sound from the system for my Sonos speakers. It's easy to connect, the Sonos app is easy to use with lots of choices. We're very happy to have included a connect in our Sonos purchase.

As with my other Sonos components the Connect was connected to the network in minutes. When outdoors I move the Connect to my outdoor stereo and control all my audio from whatever mobile device I'm carrying. Easily moved and re-connected inside.

I bought this Sonos product to revive an old whole house music system. I needed a way to bring in today's digital music. The Sonos worked perfectly with little setup. With Apple music available, I had all that I needed. Great product.

I'd been wanted to get a Connect ever since we got our first Sonos. What I hadn't fully appreciated the first few times I read about it is that it works both ways:
- You can stream all of your Sonos content to your existing hifi; AND
- You can put (say) a CD on your hifi and stream that CD to every Sonos in the house
That's fabulous for us.
Set up was extremely easy (plug into hifi inputs, hifi outputs, and mains power - and the app sorts you out) and it all works flawlessly.
Excellent!

Not cheap but reliable and very functional. The analog input bonus is a plus and makes it possible to integrate older equipment. Great when you want to take advantage of your existing speakers and amplifier.

The Sonos Connect allowed me to fully integrate my existing wired stereo system into my new wireless system with ease and grace. I was pleased that my 'old' stereo system was not 'wasted' as I transitioned to the wireless
system.
