    Added to our Sonos Beam

We bought these two speakers to complement our Sonos beam (purchased about a year prior) and get some surround sound in our tv room. Since we have one big room that is our kitchen/dining/living room, we didn’t have a surface to place these speakers. So, we also purchased the outlet cover / pedestals for our speakers. I use the Sonos app (iOS) to add the speakers to our beam and treated it like one connected system. There were some hiccups with the update timing out a couple of times and it took me about 45 mins for all the updates and connections to take. I was not able to find any real good step by step instructions on the Sonos site to do what I wanted, but there were a couple of YouTube videos that I used for reference. As far as a stand-alone speaker I would say this speaker has better sound and bass than our google home mini and my Bose portable speaker (Revolve). We also enjoyed using the system with our Spotify account when we are not watching tv. Having Alexa is also a nice addition. The top of the speaker has nice touch areas to change volume without having your phone. Overall, I wish we had added these speakers sooner as it really changed the dynamics of our tv experience! The bass is the biggest impact that we’ve experienced and we haven’t added the sub yet. I have added the levels that my children say are the best mix because if you have the surrounds too high it will drown out the dialogue coming from the Beam. Hope this helps you if you’re on the fence to adding this speaker to your system or buying it as a stand alone. Note: I only took off a point for the ease of setup rather than the ease of use.

Beam and One Speakers - All Done and Great Sound!

I bought two of the Sonos - One (Gen 2) speakers to couple with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) I have for my Samsung TV. I have a small 400 sq ft apartment so placement of all the elements was not ideal, but I am very happy with the overall sound quality. I like the idea that I can have the sound bar only playing at times for the TV and group in the two additional One speakers for movies, music and better cable sound programing. I also like the ease of "airplay" from my computer, iPhone and thru the TV itself. I've gotten used to using my cell phone as my "remote" for Sonos and I see the value of that now. I can still use my Roku, TV and BluRay remote independently as needed. I did have to contact Sonos Technical Support for help and they were amazing, Solved my issues and "schooled" me on some aspects of combining the One speakers to the Beam that really helped me understand the system. And a big warm thank you to the floor attendants in the TV/Sound dept of the Union Sq Best Buy store here in NYC for their exceptional knowledge, patience and time spent for all my questions on my multiple visits :D

I have been interested in investing in a smart whole home audio system and was recommended by a friend towards Sonos. I cant tell you how impressed I am with these speakers! I purchased two Sonos Ones as I have heard them in stereo pair and they sound great. I have this pair currently in my office and use them to jam out during work. After using the TruePlay tuning (a must in my opinion) it took the sound to a new level! The mid range was toned down just a touch and the high range was enhanced so you can hear every bit of the music as it was intended by the artists Setup of the products was very easy and with just the touch of a button, they were in stereo pair. If you are looking for an easy, smart, whole home audio system I highly recommend starting with these speakers

My wife and I just love the quality of these SONOS One Gen2 speakers have is 'unreal'.. They are very easy to setup and work beautifully off the internet and the SONOS app on my iPhone. YouTube rated these "the Best" of all the remote speaker systems. We listen to 6 different internet stations and their are many more to download that are all FREE... Watch for a sale on these SONOS speakers and try them for yourself !! You won't return them... A very happy customer.

I tried a more expensive speaker first. It was ok, but my friend suggested using two Sonos one speakers w the Sonos sub. I have used Ones as a single speaker to have an easy way to get tunes in a room. But add the sub and these turn into a high end setup. They do something with snare drums and guitar that gets buried in the mix on other speakers. Very happy.

Wow, these things are amazing. As soon as I got home I was able to install these with absolute ease and simplicity. I placed all three of them throughout my home and I have a constant stream of great music and access to change them using Alexa. I really love this product

My husband bought this for me for Christmas, and wow what a great gift. I love love this new speaker. It sounds amazing and Alexa is fun to use. It’s small, but packs a great sounds. I love being able to tell Alexa to turn on music and turn off the music. I can’t wait to add more to it. I only gave it four stars because it’s confusing to set up and doesn’t come with a lot of directions, plus I severely broke a nail trying to unplug the power from the base. I had to find the user info online, but that still wasn’t easy. However, once I figured out what I was doing it was easy. I highly recommend this product.

I was thinking about buying Sonos play5, but finally decided to buy a pair of Sonos one speakers and I’m really pleased with the sound quality in my living room. Just make sure you buy a set of 2, pair them and you will have a really nice experience. I would not recommend a single speaker for bigger rooms, but for a small bedroom it will also be a good fit.

Get this now. I moved and tried to use my wired speakers outside but it became to great of a hassle. Having 2 voice assistants built in is an awesome feature I didn't know I would love. I LOVE it. The sound is amazing too. Far better than what I had. I don't even use the multi-room feature yet but this has hooked me into wanting a sonos sound bar. I have it mounted outside using a $12 mount underneath a covering and protected from wind and rain. I live in FL so we'll see how long it lasts in the humidity but so far, it appears it will last for a long time (I will update if that changes). You will love this.

This is my first Sonos purchase and the process was somewhat daunting. The Geek squad made it easier and possible to set it up. I am recalling the Squad to help me set up a station that I had on my AT&T device which expired after 4 years of all day listening. The Sonos is an advanced product that I want to explore more and possibly purchase another Sonos for our apartment. Being an advanced senior citizen with failing hearing this has been a positive move to hear some classic jazz on the radio.

Bought a pair of Sonos One speakers for my niece and her fiancé. They just bought a new house and were listening to music and podcasts through a tiny Jawbone speaker in their kitchen. Their kitchen had two perfectly placed outlets and now they listen to music and podcasts in stereo. They absolutely love them and I am her favorite uncle. Okay, I'm her only uncle, but she loves me even more now.

Love the fact I can airplay and love the portability of it and over paid attention to detail that Sonos gave to making this small but mighty speaker with Alexa which is a plus only cons is volume needs not to have so many touch tones and noises when calling out Alexa or actually touching it to change the volume .which is easily able to get rid of through the app

We’re a small business Home A/V Installation Service that focuses on practical solutions that are future proofed to a certain degree. Sonos offers ease and practicality with a level of precision like no other. I tell my customers all the time it won’t literally happen but on the level of product comparison; Sonos has the tech and product level that redefines music and could put Bose in their place to out of business. Sonos is to retail shopping what Amazon has done to the world.

An awesome speaker. We set it up in our kitchen. It’s our first Alexa device and it was easy to set up. We play Sonos radio stations, Sirius XM, and Amazon Music on it. It’s hooked up using WiFi, not hard wired. It sounds great. We can play a station that is the same as the one playing on the Sonos speaker in the living room. Or it can play a different station at the same time. It sits near the TV (it is not connected to the TV) and a game show contestant was named Alexis and every time the host said her name my speaker beeped!
