I installed this sound bar on the wall to go with my XBR-55" 850c 4K TV. Perfect combo. Works great and no need for a second remote using the Bravia sync. Thanks Sony keep up the great job!

I reviewed a dozen TV Sound Bars before I decide to buy the Sony HT-CT380 Sound Bar. After listening to the Sony HT-CT380 at Best Buy the decision was clear. This was the Sound Bar I was going to purchase. After I got the Sony HT-CT380 Sound Bar installed at home and setup I was completely satisfied with my choice. The Sony HT-CT380 Sound Bar improves the sound coming out of my Sony 65" 4K TV and makes the sound a hundred time better.

The most impressive aspect of this sound bar is the quality of sound that it produces, especially considering it's slim profile. After listening to several systems in store, for the price point of this item, I think it is comparable with other sound bar systems in a higher price range. The clarity of the sounds all around (bass, mids, and highs) is great. While you won't get a surround sound effect without satellite speakers connected, the sound produced just from the bar and subwoofer alone are very robust and perfectly suitable for our TV and movie-watching uses. The volume ranges from 0-50, and as a reference, we usually listen around 15-20 while watching TV and movies. The max volume could be a bit louder (probably wouldn't be the best for raging dance parties) but works well for movie theater purposes. Aesthetically, it looks beautiful atop our media console however since it has such a slim profile, it is barely noticeable underneath the TV (which we love as it gives a more minimal look to the entertainment system.) There is a digital display on the front of the bar that indicates which input is currently in use and, when altering the volume, the level of volume. The number of inputs available to connect various items is also incredibly useful. Overall, Sony really impresses with quality of this item!

We were shopping for a sound bar with good sound but at a reasonable price and this was recommended to us. It surpassed my expectations. It was easy as could be to set up. The sound is awesome with very good bass. There is also a Voice feature which enhances voices on movies, TV, etc. The remote was easy to figure out and I like that you can control the volume of the sub woofer from the remote. I was also able to stream music from my iPad with no trouble at all. We don't have a Sony TV, but it works great with Panasonic TVs.

I wanted a soundbar for my Sony 65" television. First time, I bought this soundbar and was able to easily hook it up to our television in less than 10 minutes. It made a big positive difference watching tv and enhanced my listening to all the sounds it produces with clarity. I truly enjoy watching movies, sports (like NFL, BOXING, GOLF, SOCCER), concerts NOW with this soundbar with wireless bass. I am very satisfied with this product which I bought on sale before Christmas day.

I'm a woman who's not that great at cables and connecting electronics but this sound bar was extremely easy to install and to use. It literally took me 10 mins to do from unpacking to turning it on. The sound is nice and clear. I live in a condo so I keep it pretty low, less than half, because I don't want to wake the neighbors. I like that you can bluetooth your phone to it too. I link my iPhone to the bar when I'm doing stuff around the house and leave my iPhone charging.

I bought the sound bar for a theater room. It sounds great was easy to hook up. I would recommend this product to friends. The only thing is if it's a larger room you need to go to the larger sound bar

Works great with the HDMI control. I like being able to switch from Apple TV to Sony PS4 and back to cable without needing so many remotes. The Bass is strong. Speakers sometimes sound funny, a little too much treble. The sound bar has to be in the right angle to get the remote to work. Also, on a few occasions, the feed through to TV has dropped the connection, as I do run all devices to the sound bar, and then the sound bar to TV. Unplugging and replugging in the HDMI to TV solves the issues, but again, it has only happened twice in 3 months of use.

I got tired of having speakers everywhere and always trying to get surround sound to work. I wanted something affordable to replace that and yet be able to hear. This product has provided that. It works well in my family room and even those of us hard of hearing could hear what was being said. Also, this pairs with Bluetooth devices quite well. My daughter and her friends like to listen to their music and dance around and this is perfect for that. I also enjoy not having wires running everywhere. A final note, I listened to several of these and there are better sounding ones at double the cost. If I watched tv a lot I think I would upgrade.

I can't say enough good things about this soundbar. It has a very good sound and the ability to link to your mobile devices via Bluetooth is a great plus! The subwoofer gives it a good bottom end.

It's a nice and good sounding sound bar, not as loud as I would like it to be while using certain sources. And also you are not able to pass through copyright 4k videos from Netflix or amazon. I had to connect directly to my TV to accomplish that.

Good product that delivers solid sound quality for half the price of premium brands (Sonos, Bose etc). The set-up was easy. Overall happy with the product

Great sound without wires everywhere. It was pretty easy to hook up to our new tv. The subwoofer also sounds really good in living room.

I've used this product for weeks, played with features. And quite happy, great sound, clear, and DEEP Bass. Set up was quick and effortless. Fast sub sync. Bluetooth option is great, use it frequently, though do wish it had greater distance capability. However, it allows you to control bass, treble, and sub individually. Please note.. I nearly returned the item, sound seemed too low, even at Max level. I finally realized I had the "night " settings ON... after correcting that human error... I sat back and enjoyed the engulfing sounds and was, am very satisfied. Strongly recommended.

The bar and woofer sound awesome. One problem. Bought a Sony X850C model TV also. The infrared on the TV that receives the remote signal is at the bottom of the TV. The stand for the TV only puts the TV up so high. The sound bar partially blocks the signal from the TV remote unless you hold the TV remote up higher than normal. Would not recommend this combo. You need a lower profile sound bar if you buy the X850 style TV. Sound bar may work fine on other TV's.

Good sound quality , love the Bluetooth capability and the wireless sub... It could be a little louder

This was a black Friday impulse purchase. It was a very good price, cheaper than Amazon. Easy to set up, sound is good.

Excellent sound from this guy. Bass is big for the size of the system, and sound is relatively clear throughout. HDMI and Bluetooth connections are great. Surprisingly, the soundbar automatically switches to active inputs on HDMI. I still have yet to figure out which cleara+ and voice settings work best with certain movies; the effects and music tracks seem to be very loud relative to dialogue (e.g. Star Wars Digital edition).
