Have had this TV for almost 2 years now, and still love it as much as when we first got it! The OLED is an outstanding picture right out of the box. They say Sony is less bright than a Samsung, due to being more true to color. So up to your preference there; we think the true color looks better than artificial brightness. Have not had any issues yet.

Very happy with my new tv! The size is perfect for the space and it looks very classy! I went with the height (mounted) that the super helpful(!!) guys from the Geek Squad recommended and it is perfect! I haven’t had a Sony tv in many years and am enjoying the crisp, vibrant color and clear sound!❤️ Again, recommended by Best Buy sales professional who helped me place my order in store. The guys who did the installation were very polite, knowledgeable and patient! ( Had to work out some ‘issues’ with my existing system!) Wish I had been prepared to tip them but it wasn’t suggested online. Really regret it as they resolved the problems and did a great job! I’m new to Best Buy and my experience was great from purchase to installation!

This TV is the best TV I have ever purchased. I already have a 32 inch Sony TV that I’ve had since 2011 and it is still working and still in good condition. The color on the 50 inch TV that I just bought is incredible. I stick by Sony 100%. It is a fantastic TV.

I realize many people may not be interested in TVs of this size. My space wouldn’t permit anything larger. But honestly the picture is absolutely the best I have ever seen, period. To call it lifelike is an understatement. It’s like being there. Color depth, accuracy, sharpness is all best in class. The Google Os is fine, and Chromecast built in is great also. I can’t find one thing I dislike or would change. It’s just the best TV I’ve seen personally in my 65 years. If you’re trying to decide, just stop and buy this. You may find cheaper but you WILL NOT find better, period!

Exceptional picture with very vivid colors this Bravia replaced our 15 year Plasma TV. Also, unlike the Plasma TV we feel no heat coming from the set. My wife is thrilled with the direct access to all the premium networks like Netflix, You Tube, etc. And finally, it fits on our bedroom TV Stand! We are extremely please with this product and the expert advice from our Best Buy Salesperson.

Because we have to fit our living room televisions in an enclave designed back in the days of projection TVs, we are limited in our choices. Our old Toshiba 46" LCD television began malfunctioning just before the Olympics. It was a swivel TV mounted on a central stand, but almost all flat screens today come with two little legs sticking out on on each side that makes them stationary. Fortunately Best Buy carries the Sony 48" Bravia OLED A9S series 4K television mounted on a low central stand. As shown in the photo, it fit perfectly in space available with plenty of space on top for ventilation. And by mounting it on a turntable, it can be easily rotated for viewing from the side and accessing equipment behind it.

    Constant freezing, lagging

It’s an alright TV, I’ve had this tv for about 2 years now and for the 1st year it seemed to run without a problem, about a year ago it started to lag, I started to delete apps I don’t use and cleared the cache, made sure it’s up to date, factory reset it, just about everything. It’s still lags. About 6 months ago it started to freeze completely to the point where I would have to unplug it to reset it, the lag is so much worse. I wish I did more research before buying this but it is what it is. Lesson learned.

I reviewed this earlier as not good because we had trouble with shipping and I got it 2 days late. Now I have not only received it, but have it up and running. Love it. Picture is very good from any angle as you can see in pictures and set up was easy. It fit like a glove in my cabinet and looks great.

Clear picture, solid sound, smart features work for our family and it fits perfectly in the space we needed it to. We were looking for a TV with a pedestal type stand and this one came exactly as needed to fit on the wall mounted platform stand that we previously had for one of the older model analog TV's. We did not want to have to purchase a new wall mount and make new holes in the wall. This one is diagonal across two walls and you barely notice the platform it sits on. If you are not wall mounting your TV pay close attention to the width of the feet that newer TV's come with. They may be spaced too wide for the stand or chest you may be looking to sit it on. They also appear more flimsy than pedestal type stands.

Most excellent TV. Had to take a class in modern TV electronics, but managed to relearn how to operate a TV. Beautiful picture, high quality build, perfect for the bedroom. So far so good! Had a riser custom made, and painted to match what is in the room. Still working on some details. TV functions perfectly, unlike my old brain.

I got this TV as a Christmas present to myself. I have been adding new features to my man cave, and this Sony Bravia 48“ is a perfect addition. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom or office, it’s super clean design just looks classy, and expensive, which I suppose it is, but it’s worth the money after you plug it in and see the screen. Just amazing. So, I feel this was a good purchase for me, and worth every penny. You will not hate yourself for dropping the cash on this beautiful television.

The Sony Bravia is absolutely gorgeous! We had a 50” plasma screen that was slowly dying. The colors are beautiful! It sits on our corner cabinet and compliments our living room.

This TV is absolutely beautiful, it’s designed to nothing short of eye grabbing attention. It will command anyone to ask “what TV is this”. The remote control feels amazing. I never had such joy using a remote control and it works flawlessly with Direct TV. I didn’t need to use the standard Direct TV remote control anymore, and that meant less clutter and could put it away with out worries. It’s UI is just beautiful and lots of features and settings so you can have the absolute best picture your eyes desire. Everything is a win with this TV…..except. No HDMI 2.1 ports available, this amazing TV and for the cost just has no reasoning as to why there are no HDMI 2.1 ports. This may not seem as if it should be a big deal. But when I plug in my Xbox ONE XS up and run a TV picture test and see everything checked green except 4k gaming at 120hz, seeing that option with a big fat red X, makes me feel gypped or short handed in some way. My 2019 LG supports more gaming features than this beautiful “Master Class” Bravia. This would be the absolute perfect TV if it just had this HDMI 2.1 support. Why Sony decided to not include this is beyond me. Does the PS5 not support HDMI 2.1 so you can have 4k gaming at 120hz? That reason alone should be more than enough of why it should have them. I don’t know if I am going to keep this TV, I just don’t feel good knowing another OLED TV, the same size and actually has a better OLED panel is out there and cost less and will give me the HDMI 2.1 support and features that my Xbox One XS can support. Not only that, but after seeing some reviews, the LG model also has better Dolby Vision support with VRR and other capabilities that will make PC connections a pleasure. If you’re not going to use the TV for gaming then it is a great option, maybe better than the LG because it has better apps and better features while using streaming apps but if you want the most of an OLED TV you must go with LG, it has most of the new technology HDMI 2.1 brings, with a great picture. But will be short on streaming app support and its UI isn’t as beautiful as the Bravia class.

Beautiful picture and great size! I honestly almost returned this tv but gave it a week to play around with the settings and I’m glad I did because it’s a great tv with a lot of features. I also just ordered a 55” Sony OLED because the quality it great. Just wish Sony would be a little cheaper but you can’t have it all.
