I returned my sony A8F 65" 4K TV and added a little more money to get the A9F 55" 4K Master Series TV. While the A8F was beautiful and performed wonderfully, I wanted that extra "ummphh" in wow factor and performance. The NETFLIX Calibrated mode is pretty good when watching 4K content and it's similar to DOLBY Vision mode. I also wanted to be able to use the Screen as one of the channels in a surround sound soundbar system. Even without a soundbar the sound is open and warm with decent bass. The picture quality is stunning and you can customize the levels as well as sound EQ. I would say if you have enough to fork out, then this is currently the BEST 4K TV out there right now. It lives up to the brand reputation and you get what you pay for is true in this case. It even plays 4K video games in stunning quality and decent frame rates. While it can't perform like a GSYNC monitor with frame rates, the quality alone makes playing games on it worthwhile. I play Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Resident Evil 2 PC versions on the AF9 and I am blown away with the HDR and Black Levels on it. That's what makes this TV so special...it's picture quality is just so gorgeous and buttery smooth. Color levels are more natural but you can make it more vivid by using the various modes or just tweaking the levels to how you like them. I have no regrets in getting this TV and I highly recommend it. I give it 5 stars easily *****

Let me first start by saying this is the best picture I have seen in a long time. I have had two TV's in my bedroom within the past 30 or so days. We had the LG 55" Class - OLED - E8 Series - 2160p and the Sony - 55" Class - OLED - A9F Master Series. The LG was sleek and sexy with the "picture on glass" design. The reason we chose to test the Sony is because the Sony has 3.1 speaker system that actually plays the sound through the SCREEN. While playing with the Sony we noticed the picture was better (depth, contrast, color), it has Netflix Picture Mode, amazing speaker system, and lastly is has an Android system that allows you to install programs such as SBMC to play your media through. It's expensive, but you don't need to buy a soundbar to help bring the picture alive.

This OLED tv is amazing in performance ; smooth picture that’s vibrant and sharp. Picture details and colors so real! The HDR control make all the difference. The master series is worth every Cent and the discounted price I purchased really makes this a Best Buy I highly recommended the Sony master series and purchasing at Best Buy. Best Buy was great in replacing this tv quickly when I found dead pixels at the center of screen. A new tv was exchanged next day and worked perfectly. No hassle and easy transaction.

This is a great TV make no mistake. But the new A9G that replaces it is a step above. Out of the box this will require fiddling with a lot of picture settings to get it dialed in, The sound is amazing with the subwoofers and 6 speakers in the screen, but the back is super thick (at least 3-4 inches thick). Also the Easel design of the stand make it tilt back if not wall mounting, but has no negative affect on picture. I bought A9F and A9G to compare. A9G also has newest updated remote and Google operating system which is so much better. If you can get this on sale for a great price it is worth it but I'd go for the better A9G. Picture settings out of the box are near perfect for A9G

Sony has done it again. A magnificent TV with a stunning picture. Wife very happy that we don't need a sound bar in the bedroom because of their unique sound system.

This is the 2nd Bravia we've owned, the prior Bravia lasted 10 years. The picture quality is excellent and the apps are very easy to use.

Best TV ever. Phenomenal resolution and 3d effect. Great color. Very pleased with ease of operation. Geek squad has been great with installation. No issues to date.

Bought floor model in Magnolia Room for $1,200. Feel like I stole it! For "sanjam" that only gave 3 star review, please give this TV the accolades it deserves. Of course the newer, better model will have enhancements, but by no means is this a 3 star TV. I have A8F, and A9F. Love both and IMO the best OLEDs out there besides the high end LGs. If you have the ability to get any of the Magnolia rated Bravia's, I highly recommend.

This the best OLED TV i ever own and I love the design of the tv with kickstand paired with the tv calibration picture looks even amazing the sound is even better in the 2020 models at this OLED all of Sony OLEDS felt like a bit of a down grade not in the picture but else where on the tv like the speaker system and even the design this an 2017 A1E OLED are the 2 best Sony OLEDS in my opinion

The clarity on this is great. I really enjoy it. The sound is actually really good too. Unlike with other TVs, I didn't need an additional sound system. I'm really happy with it.

We had a Sony Bravia TV that lasted a long time. So we wanted to get another Sony. We looked on line for our replacement and saw that the one we bought was one of the best. I like the apps and the picture we get. The Best Buy experience of buying this Tv was great. I am still getting use to the new controls though. Funny thing though our old controls worked on the new TV

I do not often buy TVs but buy top-of-the-line when I do. This is definitely that. Amazing picture quality, interactive with most entertainment apps, and wonderful sound. No need for Fire TV, as this has the Amazon Prime video app built in.

Installed A9F Master to replace high-end plasma as part of a new Home Theater system and the entire package is awesome. My in home consultant was responsive, listened to my objectives and installation was handled by a pro. Exceeded expectations.

OMG the best tv in store you can buy now in 2020 even a tad better than the a9g in my opinion. The detail will blow you away, I love my A9f and wouldn’t change it for the world.

I considered this 4K TV for quite some time before buying, primarily due to the high price; however, I was always sold on the picture quality, which is stellar! I am very glad I made the purchase. My only concern is that, when not in use and the screen is black, there are noticeable dent-like features in the screen. This is not so much of an issue when watching; however, it is unusual and I can't help but wonder if it is a defect.

This is an amazing piece of hardware. Spectacular picture and I really like Android OS. Have both 65 and 55” model of this TV.
